- How to clean and prepare an octopus before cooking is a mystery for some but in this video from my Filipino cooking channel I show you exactly how to clean and prepare an octopus before cooking with step by step instructions ( Easy way to clean an Octopus)
Be it a baby octopus or larger the same applies on how to clean an octupus.
Cleaning an Octopus before cooking is very easy and once you know how to prepare octopus then how to cook Octopus becomes less daunting.
An Octopus has three main sections, its body, it's head, and its tentacles. In this video, I show you how to remove the Octopus head, how to clean the octopus skin, and how to clean the octopus tentacles.
For those wishing to know how to cook octopus at the end of this video is a wonderful octopus recipe where I show you more preparation of the octopus before cooking.

A very interesting video on cleaning and preparing an octopus. I have never seen this done before. I have seen them hanging outdoors in Greece and the fisherman beating them again the rocks. My only other experience has been eating them when deliciously prepared in a restaurant. Thank you for sharing.
