I’m almost 71... I bought the 45 rpm of this song by The Troggs in 1967 when I was 17. I have never gotten tired of hearing it, and love that it made its way into the soundtrack of several movies over the years. But I have to say that Marti and Wet Wet Wet were born to sing this song their way. What a joy to listen to!

I started to listen this song from 1997 when I was 17 too. I've never forget my first gf who listened together in the snowing-winter.
I am 67 year old female living in Wichita KS. First time I heard this tune was in the movie Love Actually. Recently I was watching a tv commercial and heard the tune in the background. I asked my husband who has a good ear for recognizing music found the original song by The Troggs on You Tube. I then found the tune on You Tube by Wet Wet Wet who I have never heard of. I like the video of the good looking young man with long hair 🤪

He took care of himself and his voice, he looks good and sounds really as in really good. he was enjoying himself. Most importantly wasn’t embarrassed to say “God bless!”. Loved his song on the 90s but seeing this live and listened to the original and he still sounds the same. He really has a really nice voice gives me the impression he was classically trained. Another singer with a really nice voice is George Michael.
