Ali G has a knack for making it obvious which people have a bit of an ego and which of them don't. Buzz seemed quite patient in this interview, he wasn't acting like he was above it, he just patiently answered alis questions

Pretty amazing that he got Buzz Aldrin to tell the camera that the moon does, in fact, exist. Aldrin overall is great in this. "The Venus Trot" ("What there's horses on Venus?"). Plus, his explanation to Cohen of what humor is is an amazingly surreal moment. Awesome job

222JJJKKK1 You can get a pretty basic telescope and observe the actual shape of the face of the moon, it's pretty real. If you watch it for long enough you also see it rotate on its axis. (not a full rotation)
I've seen someone claim it's a light that god put up there. Clearly never even looked at it, also don't know that it doesn't actually produce its own light. Pretty inefficient light bulb for a 'God'.
