Wow! This is the best track day video I’ve seen in a really long time. Filmed very well. Some of the track day videos can get boring after 2 mins. The M2 is super capable. Thanks for showing us what it can do. Love all of the digital meters on the screen. The quality looks great. Even my wife watched some of it and learned a few driving techniques when the car starts to get out of control.
Jackie, I love what you and your team are doing with this car. I'm a weekend warrior with my G87 and will never push it to and beyond the limit that you do, but I really appreciate seeing what she's really capable of. It helps inform my drives and "track events" and autocross. Thank you for bringing us along for the ride!
Jackie I'm not sure if I'm more impressed by the M2 itself, or by the fact that that you need a wheelbarrow for your b*lls the way you dealt with the conditions and WALLS EVERYWHERE. The wet sessions had me muttering "nope...nope" to the screen as I watched lol
Hey Jackie, I have been subscribed since you started developing the Supra and continued watching your videos since then. I love cars/bikes but have not been able to get to the track, hopefully one day I will. This is the only channel I watch, that even though I do not have any of the cars you have I watch it because you are a genuine dude that love what you are doing. Keep sharing the content, I thinks it’s great even though I have no car to practice with. 😂 I wish you a lot of success, but don’t change the format. Videos are raw and cool! Keep it up!
Great video and great job bringing that car to the limit in tough conditions with a stock car! Next time you are at the Glen and have more dry driving there are several corners that you seem to be turning in a bit early which is compromising your exit speed and causing more mid corner-corner exit oversteer. As you’ve learned and mentioned, corner exit speed is very important at the Glen! 👍🏼
I don’t think losing much sprung mass is possible other than seats, carpets, door cards etc. unless you decide to pull out AC, stereo, and electronics. Most modern bmws are like this from my experience
really pleased to see how well the electronic helpers play along. a few years back there was talk about tesla being so ahead but we put the hammer down and i dare say the new german interiors speak for themselves
I wasnt quite sure on the automatic versus the manual. after seeing your videos, I confirmed with my BMW dealership and signed an Auto Brooklyn Grey M2 !! waiting for allocation now !! Ill see you on track ;)
The sun was in my eyes. The dog ate my homework. Any other excuse I can use for slowing dowm! lol lol. If only practice times counted for something! Nice job man! Incredible on the stock tire too!!
Dude, loving the videos. It would be cool if you could do voice over instead of text on the screen. Makes it easier to watch in the background while in the garage etc.
It's an idea that we had before but honestly I would hate to put voiceovers above the car's audio. Between curbs and tire squeals and engine notes and all, I wanted that to be a clear experience!
Wow, this is impressive. The fact that a 3800 lb car can pull 1.5g laterally on PS4S and stock everything (except camber plates) is wild. BMW’s working some witchcraft on their new cars, lol
Unfortunately this time around BMW have made the M2 a little too heavy Id say for any real track days, after a few laps and full tilt it takes its toll, the previous gen was a much better chassis weight wise for track use I feel, but this hasnt turned me off ordering one.
Great driving bro. Ballsy too. QQ: how did you get that -2.2 camber upfront? Is there enough play in the LCA and top mount for that or did you use camber plates? Cheers
You were a monster out there especially in the conditions. I made a cameo on p9 on the leaderboard! What’s your camera mount set up on your helmet? Chin mount? Great POV
Sorry if this was mentioned, I seemed to miss it, any reason to keep the engine in Sport vs Sport Plus? Awesome videos Jackie, this car with you behind the wheel is an absolute monster and I am stoked to see it evolve.
I’m curious why you have the engine set to Sport instead of Sport+. I have a G82 and I track it in HPDEs and have always used Sport+. I may have to try Sport this weekend though.
sport plus in our experience has a really spiky ramping in that throttle, I.e. 25% throttle pedal input equates to like 50-60% torque demand. That’s the primary reason why we stick with regular sport!
If you watch our video, it’s on the same track. SG’s Supra, with RE71RS tires did a 1:33.72. Their M2, with RE71RS tires, did 33.9. Our M2, with OEM Pilot Sport 4s (known slower tires), did 1:33.0. So yea, I think we did make the better choice.
@@JackieDing86 With all due respect Jackie, you can't compare the S58 with the B58. You're a gearhead and know the S58 is an engine with a higher ceiling and far superior. The Savageese review is for clout and clicks. Stock M2 and stock Supra can't be in the same sentence. I have a 2023 A91 6MT and I would NEVER think I'm better or faster than a G87. I'd have to tune and build my Supra to get anywhere near the G87s potential.
Going 90+ over the wet curbing at turn 5 has me on edge.
Dude you are killing it driving that car for what it’s built for I hope.
I hope BMW is watching and learning what some of their customers want.

Really appreciate your dedication to these high quality POVs. Going there for the first time in October so I'll be re-watching this one many times :)
Almost a v1 supra moment for a second there! Good save to keep it out of the wall.
This thought went through my head too 😂
Amen to that...
The car is great, but the true hero here is you and your driving. We're all vicariously living through your videos.

Whoah!!😮! That under steered to the wall scared 😱 the hell out of me.
Just picked up my g87, looking forward to getting it out on track! Great driving!

I still remember Jackie staying full throttle in the grass in the S2000. Craziest thing I've ever seen in a tin top time attack
That’s what it took for him to be a pro driver at a young age!

150 mph on the back-straight; that car is faster than I thought. Very nice driving, and what saves!
Amazing save at 4:06 way to keep your composure

Insane what this car does at it sits.. what a weapon.
Nice save on turn 9. That corner sneaks up on you. Glad someone is putting the M2 to it's pace on track vs just the polish and shine folks.
watkins was definitely treacherous that weekend but seeing the m2 develop gets me excited!
My man, that walllll 🤯
Well brother that wall looks extremely close to a zandvoort blue..haha nice job that’s a tricky course much respect and be safe !
Weight savings would definitely help this big lady to go faster
It’s coming!!

@@MrRoni123456789 in my experience bmw interiors are ridiculously heavy, so losing most cosmetic parts could reduce up to 100 kilos.

Great video!
Def a Scary track!

Brilliant!...and a summer of events to come...
Amazing skills Jackie! Well done.
SOOOO hyped to see this M2 series! This vid alone was so freaking entertaining! Hell of a drive Jackie! And what a car!!
Finally honored to make a few split second appearances in one of your videos lol. Dude, you were solid that whole weekend. I’ll see you at Midwest!
Awesome job Jackie and crew
Always great quality, editing, DRIVING and just overall tbh. This track had me on edge. Especially considering brand new car. God bless y'all!!
Sustained 1.3 Gs on cornering on the dry for a car that heavy, that car corners very well. Tire and camber plates really helped a lot.
Awesome driving and can’t wait to see the evolution of this M2
It's finally here!
Well done and congratulations on podium finish on debut!
Great work! 😉
Thought you were about to need a new M2 at the 4 min mark. Nice save!
Is there a BoP for this or is it just anything goes if you can afford it ?
tricky conditions, nice driving

Nice driving too Mike! Great battling you!!
That was awesome. Very impressive driving and impressive car.
I am only 3:22 in the video so far and it is good. Why is there a tesla on the track?
It's autopilot was giving the owner a chance to take pics of cool cars up close at speed 😂
Would love to see some driving content at Ozarks International Raceway!
Man, watching you almost binning another beemer scared the crap out of me! Lets not make this some sort of tradition! M-key!
awesome driving! curious on how you have your camera set up and what mount. doesnt look like side of helmet. love the POV
1st time viewer. When I seent that save, I hit subscribe.
excited to see how this goes!
Seems like it's a great idea to get some Sport 5s to put on the stock rims for wet days 🌊
3:57 nice safe .. anyway nice driving

At least the wall is the same color as your paint lol
How do you mount the camera to the helmet? Pov looks so good and straight on. Mine is on the side so looks angles
I like your car!
T9 is tricky, mainly because its where the NASCAR straight meets the road course. The camber, raised surface makes for some interesting approaches
100%. Off camber in the middle and that caught me out on the early session!
Second place! Congratulations. I hate wet roads.
I just keep thinking....tires...tires....those poor street tires! LOL
Love the video. What helmet cam set up do you use?!
Great driving bro. Ballsy too. QQ: how did you get that -2.2 camber upfront? Is there enough play in the LCA and top mount for that or did you use camber plates? Cheers

It’s a gopro hat clip mounted on the top of the visor! And thanks!
Ηow do you set up tire pressure? For example, you start cold with oem psi and when got warm lowering down?
Sorry if this was mentioned, I seemed to miss it, any reason to keep the engine in Sport vs Sport Plus?
Awesome videos Jackie, this car with you behind the wheel is an absolute monster and I am stoked to see it evolve.
Sport+ mode makes the throttle way too touchy so throttle modulation can be tricky.
@@BoostdPanda thanks!!!

Excuse me, but did that say an AWD C8 Corvette in P1 SGT? I didn't know those were out yet. Would like to see more of that build.
Pretty sure that’s a typo! Haha
would be cool to see throttle and brake application
The M2 is a Beast! but WGI is scary
Great driving, it looks like the car has a good bit of understeer, is that what you're feeling when driving?
For sure some understeer! Working on dialing it out when we get some suspension upgrades :)
Dont the head rests pop out to make room for helmets like the M4?
When are you coming to Mosport GP? :)
How far would you go by weight savings? Those stock instrument cluster looks heavy
Definitely an upgrade from the F87. The stock F87 comp brakes aren’t track ready
Curious you use M TC setting at 5/10. Was the Supra TC off truly a 0/10 setting?
What toe settings did you go with? It looks to me like you've got toe-in up front.
How (and where) do you have the camera mounted on the helmet? Thanks
mad man
What oil are you running on this car while on track?
Random question but is it a regulation to have no front windows up? Only asking as I can’t imagine it helps aero.
Yes, in the USA almost all race organizers require both front windows down on tracks.
whats your thoughts on the +200hp gains from downpipe+ tune?
We’ll do it, just not yet! Haha. I think we all know what the S58 is capable of, not surprised, just excited.
Can I please buy that M-traction control for my E90!!??
I swear, I’d love to buy it for our Supra too. Haha
This is the regular M2 right not the Comp like its titled?
It’s an M2, it’s our M2’s “Competition Debut” :)
3:59 saved it
Front tires overheated (fatt pig 🐖) glove box flying open (channeling E36 vibes) 😂 I have an E36. Keep it light keep it right 👍
Savagegeese just did a video comparing the Supra and M2, on the same tires the Supra was over a second faster...are you sure you made the right move?
each car has trade offs. Supra bad visibility, wind buffeting and strict two seater. The M2 is just fat and has more lifeless steering
It's actually only .3 tenths faster that was an editing mistake. AND that was the manual. The auto version is just faster period.

They said the same tire, but RE71RS is not even available in the correct F&R size for the M2. So something is fishy in their video IMO.
牛逼,ps4s 和 ecs02哪个好一些?
Be more liner with the throttle, really choppy. Cool to see this car at watkins.
so much wall
3:57
You needed the downforce in that area you almost tap the wall it seems🤔
What tire pressure with those ps4s?
We were aiming for 36-37 psi hot!
@@JackieDing86 okay, is that what Michelin recomende?
Dang lots of excuses from the ding... Maybe diggs should take the wheel.
where is Alex?
Alex got sick for this weekend and wasn’t able to go sadly!
Corvette killer, but the thumbnail shows a c5. I’ve grown to really appreciate Bmw but cut it out.
So, C5 are not corvettes now? Also he did beat a C8 and some other vettes, only lost to a heavily modded C6Z.
Almost a repeat of Supra there. Thank god nothing happened.
Weight is too much :(. Might still get one lol
Instead pilot 4s get continental sport contact 7
Lots of lifting and coasting (saving fuel?) and earlier turn in. The front end will bite much better if braking later/deeper.
