STUFF THE HATERS... I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A VIDEO OF THE PLOUGH MACHINE AT WORK WHEN THE SNOW ALLOWS THIS TO HAPPEN. GOOD VIDEO 🤟💯
I’m the same way I get stuff for free too as scrap but sometimes I get goodies 😊 awe job like to see it at work
Great video! Awesome project! You are an inspiration! i am taking it one step at a time on making a free craftsman LT 1000 ride on mower into a mud runner. so far i have ordered regular sized mower tires for the back ( i will be putting atv tires on at a later date), 2 red led running lights (from tractor supply) on for rear tail lights, and 2 55 watt halogen driving lights on the top front for head lights (from marden's), and a new drive belt. i do plan on a later date to do a drive pulley and tranny pulley size swap. :)
Very good video, I was thinking of doing something similar but was delaying because of the motor cover. I decided that I will be looking at cutting part of the cover to make the needed space and to be able to still use the cover.
Thanks for the link for crimpers I ordered them
Great video! oddly enough i just built a plow and bought one of these controllers. I've been trying to come up with a cheaper rocker switch. Thanks for the tips.
Great Video as Always!! Can’t wait to see it plowing
Merry Christmas 😊
Making it to unbolt and remove it during summer is smart, but no snow in west Texas
3:53 haha I so agree.
For the Smyth Ute that I'm building ,everyone recommends that harbor freight air powered rivet gun because there's 2-300 rivets.
And then complain about it half pulling ,and blowing oil all over.
That's great to get on bare gelcoat.
I had a pair of long handled Pittsburgh manual squeezers, and I did fine.
(The crimper in the vid looks like a pair ,that's how I got on this track)
I used a normal pair of squeezers for tight areas ,but that's the way it is anyway, you're gonna have a few.
No way you'd use em for the whole job, when a 3/16 rivet pops it bothers your hands after a while if you don't put a towel around it.
No need for the air powered thing, I've helped guys buck 10k real rivets to build a plane so suck it up buttercup ,it's only a few hundred easy pop rivets.
I hope you don't need to use just that to plow . Ive used them before , they bulldoze great but when win-rowing not good . A good winch switch is the same as a double pole double through plow switch for left and rite angles . Found sometimes at hardware stores , and surely at automotive stores even some electronics stores . Next a lift motor for angling the plow ?
Nice job!
Very helpful indeed! THANKS
3:53 I love my hydroelectric cable crimper does everything I need and more and wasn’t that pricey
Nice plow video. I’m still looking for the free bits to make myself one too. I have a line on a plow blade and I reckon it’s just a homemade pie away or something like that.
Using a bed suport frame could assist you, easy to cut to neede space, and if you don't have a welder, you can easily drill hole and use bolts
Love it 👌
Love the vid n would like to see vid of it in action
The hydraulic crimpers that I have only cost like $15 more than those. They make a beautiful 6 sided crimp you can trust on automotive work as well. You can also still use them if u are a wimp. I used a hammer and punch before I had them... aka free.
where are hydraulic crimpers for 15$? :D Cheapest I could find is ~60$
@@Vein1986 "$15 more than those" as I said
@@inspireonex you are right, i have misread that :)
I have that crimper and the hydraulic crimper, the crimps are much better on the hydro unit. After using the Hydraulic crimper that manual one can go in the scrap pile imo.
I liked the video and would you recommend using a wired controller if someone doesn't want to do all that wiring
Wiring is part of the game. Just take your time and go for it.
I would remove hood and do the same thing if I lived up there
But would make it to be bolted on / off
I bought my first lawnmower for 50 dollars recently
Actually I'd like to see you make a video where you can move to plow side to side without getting off the mower I have tried to figure that out and I just can't do it this is Daniel Ayers you seem like you be somebody that could figure that out so it'd be nice to figure out a way to do that because this sucks getting off of my way every time you need to move the place
Thank you for the video that was a good one tell John we said Hi and your girlfriend
Just curious where is the gt6000 that has the Duramax and how's it doing
Its right in the 4 post lift shed ready to play in the snow. I have upgrade plans for it. That is why I need this one up and running.
and your word salad is free !
