so good to see my Cameroon sister on You tube; You're a genius,. I never know we could peel the beans by pulsing on the blenders. Thanks for such great tips. keep up the good work
I'm a bit confused. Do you soak before peeling for many hours or do u only soak for 6 to 8hrs after you have peeled it for easy blend? Yourvideo showed only 5 mins soak before peeling. Is it easier to peel that way?
Hi, yes I only soak for 5 minutes before peeling in the blender. It is easier to peel that way. Then I leave it to soak. That way I can just blend the next morning.
Lucia Hassell wow interesting to know that cornmeal porridge is also called pap over there! Yes, Accra/Akara is also known as bean cake. Please let me know how it goes.
Ok, will be waiting.. This is the banana cake i baked. I saw the recipe on ur facebook page and decided to make mine too. It came out really good. Thanks for the great feedback, Leonarda! Unfortunately the pic hasn't opened. If you are on Instagram please upload the photo and tag me @preciouscore. God bless you, dear.
Nice video, love your blender concept I just have a little input, it is advisable that you cover your hair when next you make a kitchen video, not for you but for those watching to be informed that it's vital that hair is not found in the food. Cheers✌🏽
Hi Lorraine, I soak dried corn for about 3 days then I blend and pass through a sieve to make pap. Depending on where you are, you could get the dried version from African stores.
So, we no Dey boil the beans abi? Ah bi think say from the beginning after you buy the beans you washam then boilam when the beans soft you remove the skin😆
there are still pockets of the original african traditions practiced in the carribean. They use exactly the same thing using black eye peas(beans), green peppers, salt and other ingredients are optional. prepared same method as accra(African) and fried in deep oil.this specific to Jamaica. you will be surprised that till this day garri is also made in the Caribbean. this is the carribean in 1960s ruclips.net/video/9AThlwwjz-Y/видео.html not very different from African high civilization .
