    Beautiful Accra, I love the easy peeling tips. I like the fluffy texture when you mix in the mortar,(by the way I love your mortar very much), but I don't have a mortar. I'm sure electric hand mixer can do the trick for me. great video and thanks for being always amazing

      Lol you watched already! I'm sure a hand mixer will work, dear. Thanks for always cheering me on!

    Hi Precious can i use already peeled beans for this?

  • @Lilian4you
    @Lilian4you 5 лет назад +1

    I'm a bit confused. Do you soak before peeling for many hours or do u only soak for 6 to 8hrs after you have peeled it for easy blend? Yourvideo showed only 5 mins soak before peeling. Is it easier to peel that way?

    • @PreciousKitchen
      @PreciousKitchen  5 лет назад +1

      Hi, yes I only soak for 5 minutes before peeling in the blender. It is easier to peel that way. Then I leave it to soak. That way I can just blend the next morning.

      Hi Lorraine, I soak dried corn for about 3 days then I blend and pass through a sieve to make pap. Depending on where you are, you could get the dried version from African stores.

      there are still pockets of the original african traditions practiced in the carribean. They use exactly the same thing using black eye peas(beans), green peppers, salt and other ingredients are optional. prepared same method as accra(African) and fried in deep oil.this specific to Jamaica. you will be surprised that till this day garri is also made in the Caribbean.
      this is the carribean in 1960s ruclips.net/video/9AThlwwjz-Y/видео.html not very different from African high civilization .
