The Lexus LFA is a masterpiece of Japanese engineering, with a unbelievable naturally aspirated V10 that revs to 9000 rpm, and an exhaust note that makes modern F1 cars jealous. These cars are exceedingly rare, with only 500 made for the entire world, and in recent times, the values have absolutely skyrocketed. Even seeing one of these is a very rare occurrence, but to get to drive one? truly special. Somehow my friend Cody gets to spend nearly every day driving this Lexus legend around, oh and we used it as the camera car to take photos of my Z06. This might be the only existing car where they considered every single sensory the human would experience driving this. Truly an unparalleled experience, from the tone of the engine to the haptic feedback of the shifter pedals. I want this sooooo bad.

See, this is why I love the LC500's. I was blessed with the opportunity to drive one awhile ago and loved it. The styling is amazing, the speed was...I didn't speed so can't say, the handling was great. I haven't seen or driven an LFA yet, but they might be similar.
I made a joke when I got my LC. It's the closest I'm ever getting to an LFA lol. I have a RCF and the LC but still nowhere in the ballpark for an LFA. Maybe 10 years ago when no one was looking at them. But timing I guess.
The 2000GT, Lexus LFA and MKIV Supra turbo are the trifecta of Toyota’s greatness.
This LFA was in Costa Rica, we had 2 LFA. One red and this one. Good to know they are taking care of this máster piece.

i would never do it, but part of me wants to know how this thing would perform if it was professionally tuned. Like with open titanium exhaust and fully done engine with higher rpm and higher power output (but keeping it N/A)

@@joseperezpaz9986 yeah probably the only chance to experience this.. but to be honest, i recently saw a titanium exhaust Carrera GT on youtube.. maybe some day someone will try it on an LFA.

That would be an insult to the engineers at Yamaha who tuned the exhaust to sound as it does.
If I'd ever own an LFA (which I won't for one obvious reason), the radio would never, not once be turned on. The car would sing for me all the time, unobstructed.

Correction to the video at 10:15 - this car was serviced at the lexus dealer i work at in scottsdale recently, and no special tech was flown in. Our shop foreman is lfa certified so nobody had to come help

Most experts agree that LFA has the best engine & exhaust sounds. Why don't other car manufacturers take notice to make their high-end super cars sound more like the LFA?
There's not a lot of 10 cylinder cars out there, and those still in production want to have their own sound

I will say I haven’t (yet at least?) seen a good pov drive of this car. Everything I read and watched about it really dogged on the transmission.. seeing and hearing it here tho, I get it. No shit it’s not as fast as a pdk (or zf8 😏) but it’s engaging when driven as it should be! I heard it was supposed to shift and behave similarly to a manual transmission and that was a huge part of development. What a car 🤯

Idk, maybe its the fanboy in me but this car comes from an era where I can associate it with a Top Gear review, much like the 918/P1/LaFerrari trinity, and something about that makes these cars even more special and legendary.

Man, I really enjoyed this video, but was ultimately disappointed in the end when the driver called the LFA a damned JDM car! The LFA is NOT a JDM car, how do people that are around cars constantly, love sports cars and even know what the JDM moniker is and yet don't REALLY know what JDM actually means?! The LFA was NOT sold in the (J)apanese (D)omestic (M)arket only, therefore it's not a JDM car.
Technically this LFA is CRDM, it was delivered new to Costa Rica.

I think the car lacks a littgle bit of a wider body or something, for the price tag, it just seems to fall short a little.
Not an ugly car and runs great. But missing something for the price tag, IMO.
