Actually, I did this vid so long ago, I never did pay attention. I was up on this same aircraft (about a 2 year gap from this vid) a few weeks ago. At that time, both FMS CDU's were the green display. Worked a 429 Data Bus problem. Difficult.... to say the least. rotate.aero/forum/429-data-bus-avionics/14-arinc-429-reader-for-troubleshooting
i love -400 as you said that it has both analog and digital equipments.
I think it was the best aircraft generation, with two thinks. For me for example, flight simmer, I prefer this kind of plane. For me THE BEST.
I like how they upgraded the Captain side fmc with a NG one.

Rotate.Aero Interesting. From what I heard nothing really new except for the feedback time..Is it really the case?
Cheers.
LOVE The analog so much!
Those fuel gauges are bad ass.
I’m surprised southwest airlines didn’t get this cockpit upgrade on their classic 737s
Omg im in love with the -400, airlines still flying this bird?
I’ve seen a few at MIA
very well
Are the HSI screens on the 757 and 767 compatible with the 737 classic?
Sad that you can walk into a 737-100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 and MAX...and still find the same antiquated overhead panel
commonality is a curse sometimes...
i think its incredible really, much easier to navigate
if it works, why must everything be improved? flying older aircraft keeps you more in sync and involved intuitively.
