I never have run across such a failure. In TA (Traffic Advisory) , the TCAS system is just letting you know there is a possible threat. RA (Resolution Advisory), you're commanded to climb or dive while the other aircraft is given the opposite command. Usually, if there are issues, neither TA nor RA will work correctly.
@@RotateAero ok, by slecting stored fault , i got 37 inbound which include power interrupt, programme pin,ATC ctl Panel, TA/VSI 1, RA DISPLAY 1, ROLL Att data, Pitch Att data, Heading Data, transponder 1 and transponder 2. Now which particular items out of these to be suspected and how to relolve this, plz guide.
Do you have to land ASAP if TCAS failed, or what do you have to do?
What to do if TCAS FAIL IN TA/RA mode only, but working fine in TA mode?
So what was the fix? Top antenna?
