    That CCTV footage leaves me with a strange feeling in my gut. It’s so creepy when they were pictured behind the gate just staring ahead. There’s something not right here, I feel as if this is an unfortunate case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Hopefully they find Trevor or find answers so that his family can have some closure🤧 Keeping his family in my thoughts and prayers.

      Looks like a bank robbery gone wrong with the man standing for a long time behind the pillar scouting out the bank. Trevor comes out and sees the faces of the men so they decide to take him out as he walked away.

      @maartjevanstokkem3116 2 года назад

      @James G out of interest, how do you know what time his 2 colleagues left Buck Whaleys? It's a more than interesting fact if that's the case, personally I never bought the story of the two guys outside the bank not having anything to do with it, mainly as surely the Gardai would have released information about what they would have said about the guy waiting at the gate. They would have been prime witnesses and even from not having spoken to him they would have had some information about the guy like was he a Dub or foreign. Just coming back to this after years, always felt there was more to it and likely related to the fact that the Gardai messed up. The whole fact what this girls covers about the guy having to overtake Trevor to get to the second gate first was never discussed, neither was the video that she shows, I am not able to find it anywhere else. Wonder where she got it.

    • @maartjevanstokkem3116
      @maartjevanstokkem3116 2 года назад +2

      @James G That makes a lot of sense. Funny, the things you don't see after staring at this video so often, like the timing of his colleagues arriving 4 minutes after the call. And something tells me that's where the Gards made some kind of mistake/mess up. There's no way the two men are not involved and yet they never released any info about them or what they said which would have cleared up a lot. I'm with you how you explain their involvement, I'd say that's pretty much what happened.

  • @simplyraeann3711

    Your bank robbery theory is spot on. I was also thinking he was wrong place, wrong time. I was thinking he ruined their plan to 'jump' and rob someone else. He could have easily told his co-worker that some guy (the coworkers accomplice) was following him and he was creeped out. He might have trusted the coworker and when they were standing at the gate they made a plan to kill him because he 'saw to much'

    • @melissawright1979
      @melissawright1979 6 лет назад +5

      @@eshqa coz whether Trevor saw what they actually were going to do, he still saw them there and could possibly identify them to the police if asked to do so. They got rid of him because he weren't suppose to be there. He was collateral damage. Its sad but it sounds the most likely theory x

    • @eshqa

    When I saw the video of the 1st man standing behind the pillar at the bank, I got the impression he had a stocky build. The second time a man is seen-at the gate-he seemed to have an average build. The person seen following behind Trevor after he left the bank looked like he had a slim to average build. It is very suspicious that people were hanging out by the bank in the rain. Because of the build of the different men though, it is even possible that the man following Trevor was not either of the first two men seen at the bank. Very sad. Trevor seems like such an upbeat guy.

  • @tabithamcqueen

    I agree that the phone call may have been his “cry for help” or to make someone back off. If I’m out and I feel uncomfortable by someone I call my dad. I don’t even have to tell him what’s going on I can come up with a random excuse and my dad will just talk and listen until I can get somewhere to explain.
    I pray this family can get their answers soon.

    A strange thing that I noticed on the CCTV. Trevor exits the screen at gate 1 at 03:34:18, and arrives at gate 2 at 03:35:01. 43 seconds later. The man in black leaves gate 1 at 03:34:34 and arrives at gate 2 at 03:34:43, 9 seconds later. While 9 seconds is a reasonable length of time to walk 20 feet. My question is why did it take Trevor 43 seconds to walk 20 feet?

      I always think I hear things but then I remember that no criminal, unless he's practically comatose with drugs, would break into my house because we have a 65 lb and a 100 lb dog and our backyard has 18 in water bowl and literal horse toys. Even if they were to break in, both my dogs would be more terrifying than the criminal (they've very protective and devoted to us and they're both quite fit/muscular). If I were alone, I would be perpetually scared shitless.

    When I was a kid this guy disappeared and his family plastered posters all over the city. I can remember every time I'd see one I'd ask my parents if there was any news about him and they always had nothing to tell me. Every Christmas the family would make a new appeal and hear nothing. It's heartbreaking.

    Thanks for covering an Irish case. My heart goes out to the family. I'm from Dublin and about Trevors age I remember seeing his posters all over Dublin. It's scary because Dublin is a small "safe" city and I have often walked around the city alone during/after a night out. Thursday night in Dublin is a busy night especially in December. Someone saw/ knows something!

    It does make sense that its possible he interrupted something. If the two guys standing and staring at the bank were cleared as workers what was there reason for standing there staring at the bank. My question is was there any sort of robbery on that bank after he went missing? I'm curious if any sort of plan was ever carried out, because if there were, who did it and could they be tied to him?

    I think they need to comb the waters thoroughly. Even the deepest waters. If he's been killed and disposed of, that's going to be the first place anyone would think to dispose of a body. I believe if he was killed, that's where his body is.

    This is my first video of yours I've watched. I wanted to check you out after I saw your interview a day or two ago on John Lordan's channel.
    I didn't know these kinds of shows existed until like 2 months ago. Maybe 3. Idk. Time flies. LOL.
    I was looking on RUclips for a recording of a documentary about Maura Murray, and I happened upon a RUclipsr who covers true crime. She's not very professional in how she covers things but I checked out her videos. Then I found John. I instantly became hooked and started binging. Seriously, I love him...
    And now I love you! You're super good at what you do! I can already tell! You guys have different styles. But yeah, I like you both.

    I’ve known of this case for a while and I didn’t know about the second man theory, the other reports & videos I’ve seen about this totally glossed over it. I think this is why it’s so important that people still continue to look at old cases like this to raise new questions that hopefully will lead to the right people coming forward with information. You do such an amazing job Danelle 💜

    Another amazing video Danelle, please never stop making them!
    When Trevor was walking through the area known for gangs and sex work, could he have witnessed an altercation between a sex worker and their pimp and tried to step in or intervene in some way? The gangs/pimps decided they would have to get rid of him because of that? Or maybe he saw a drug deal or some other sort of crime and he was killed to silence him. The man/men in black are very suspicious though.. maybe they had planned to follow him from the bank & rob him and something went wrong? I really hope his family gets answers!
