This is John Williams, Amy’s dad, Robins husband. Thank you for all your time, research, and efforts in this case. It’s been very frustrating not being able to get any information from the detectives through the years, as well as the very low priority our case has generated by the detectives or the media. Wait...so the babysitter kept watching her small children for 5 days until raising any flags ? I need to get passed THAT before even going on to further questions..🤔
I would like to know what the conversation was. It seems to me that maybe the sitter had a reason to believe the mother would take her time - maybe she said she might have to stay overnight or something? Maybe the sitter was afraid of overreacting? That's still really weird though. I understand waiting through the night in case something happened, but five days? Even if you knew it might be a possible overnight stay, that's different from a few days.

Even if they agreed ahead of time to keep the kids for several days, parents always check in on their kids everyday. Multiple times a day. And not hearing from the mother after a day is a HUUUGE red flag. If I babysat for another parent, I’d be blowing up everyone’s phone once they’re an hour late, and inform the authorities if they still cannot be reached after several hours! I cannot comprehend why the babysitter waited for FIVE days like “this is fine :).” Like?????? 🙃😟
A woman walking off into a dark ball field, alone!?! That sounds sketchy to me!!! Most women wouldn't do that, especially if you have children!! Before I had my kids I wouldn't have done that, but after having kids I am even more cautious about things to ensure I make it back home to my children!!!!

uubish No it’s not? I live in Port Angeles and have for many years. Most people who have been killed here are found in their homes, or in the water. Don’t spread false information. This town barely ever has a murder, we just had our first triple murder for the first time in 25 years.

Wishing the best for these families. I can't imagine the heartbreak. Awareness is key. Unlike the 80s and 90s, we can put their faces and stories in the public eye like never before. I really think that if they keep pushing their stories, look up old friends of their moms and remain a presence at the police station that there will be answers for them. On the offhand chance their moms could have run off and started new lives, maybe they should do one of the ancestry kits and see if it matches them with anyone they're unfamiliar with. A long shot, sure but one worth taking. Praying for answers and for peace in their lives!
This is completely heartbreaking. Mothers are some of the most hard working women ever. And for them to have their babies missing, I can’t imagine how difficult it was for both of them. About the babysitter not calling for 5 days - she might have not wanted to get the woman in trouble for leaving her kids for so long and expected her to come back. I know parents who drop their kids off "overnight" and come back 3 or 4 days later without telling anyone , so it's not impossible to believe. However those 2 men know something!! Police piss me off so much when they just write people off like "oh well, she/he probably wanted to disappear".
Poor ladies. I couldn't imagine not knowing what had happened to my mama. I hope they het justice some day and peace.

Christina Marcus the people in the court know Bobbi Ann is missing
not all courts require filming. Most court cases do not even have a court reporter to take down the events. And any security footage would have been wiped by the time any cops decided to look into it.
This is so touching, really brings it close to home that these missing women are those of subscribers :( Really hope that this re opens this case and brings in some new leads to at least bring them so closure

I've known people who's mom's friends were pretty bad parents they would say there going out for the night then come back 5 days later so it's not totally unbelievable.
Tyler Sane I'll buy that, but that's not what's questionable. What's strange is that the babysitter didn't report it. It's stated that the mother didn't know the babysitter well and that would lead me to believe that she would expect her back within a reasonable amount of time. I can't imagine babysitting kids for what was supposed to be one night, and the parents not coming back for 5 days and not doing anything. Not only would I be concerned, I would be angry.
Back in the day people were a lot less confrontational and communication wasn’t as easy as it is today. The babysitter probably spent the 5 days trying to track the mother down on her own. It’d have to have been done the old fashion way tho by landline phones and calling different friends getting numbers for her family members. All while trying to keep the kids from being scared or worried.
@@cailin5309 I can definitely agree that times are different so the sitter handled it differently but Danielle indicated that the sitter didn't know her (the mother) well. I still feel 5 days is a long time to not call authorities if you don't know the person well.

My mom gave up her first child and I am so so thankful she found us. All of us girls are 4 years apart. She said growing up she always knew she had sisters. And she does! I'll never forget the first time she called when I was 13. My mom was crying we were all crying.

Sending love to those two daughters of these missing women - I just can’t even fathom or comprehend that sort of heartbreak and devastation.
So In Canada there is something called “the Good Samaritan act” and it pretty much means you can call the cops when someone overdosed and you won’t get in trouble for having/supplying drugs. Does America not have this?

The second case is heart breaking. Thomas spend his entire life wondering about his biological mother just to found out that she was missing, that must be so devastating. Danelle, I never comment but I watch your videos as soon as you post them, even if I'm busy I made the time. I think you are stunningly beautiful and I love the way you present this cases, I have mad respect for what you do 💛💛💛.

The second case though.... I don’t know why but my first thought was “this sounds like the Joan Risch case” I honestly don’t know why, but it just strikes me as similar. Although, your theories of run away and accidental death... what if it’s both. What if she did run and got into really hard drugs out of guilt and died.

How wonderful are these children to keep their mothers cases alive. Amy how was the babysitter related to those she went to see? I’m co fused as to why she didn’t report her missing earlier. Could you mom have been pregnant scared and just left? I hope she’s out there. Stephanie was there a sign in sheet at the court house that you could compare signatures to see if it was your mom? And the woman who talked to her in the park how well did she know her? I am keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers that you get answers soon ❤️

Hi, I just submitted a case suggestion regarding the murder of my aunt that happened last week. I hope you take the time to read it and consider covering it. Thank you for bringing attention to cases like these. There are so many hurting families.
I unfortunately have known two women in my personal life, both who were victims of domestic violence resulting in their murders.
Both trying to escape abuse then being killed brutally. Both Canadian cases happening in Prince Edward Island and Ontario. The pei one was actually one of the first cases where they used pet (cat) hair found on the body to nail the killer. In the 90s...Shana Carter and Shirley Dougay...I'm going to submit both cases. Would be cool to see them remembered.

Two very sad cases. These women were real people and just disappeared, leaving their loved ones with no answers. They should never be forgotten about. I feel so upset for their families, I really do hope they find some sort of answer and that this will bring them some peace 💛

I just moved out of Port Angeles, less than a year ago. That airport is really small, I always thought of it as an air strip, not air port. There is little security. I don't know what it was like in the 80s, but now it is dirty, high crime, tons of drugs, polluted, a pretty all around nasty place - at least the areas there around Lincoln are. I lived there for just 2 years, but witnessed so much crime, had our house broken into, had things stolen on multiple occasions. It's right between the ocean and national park land - all sorts of ways to disappear something/someone and it's more than a little scary after dark.

Please do a video on Janet Gregston! She was seven months pregnant and found on the side of the road stabbed in Odessa, TX in 1984. No one was ever charged. Her husband is my boyfriends now stepfather and it still affects him to this day.
I lost my mother so I understand the pain of that firsthand. Except I know what happened to my mom. If I didn’t know, it would feel so much worse so I could only imagine. Heartbreaking 😢
