- I don't know how Zelda did it, I would've eaten that stone the second I got it, just looks tasty, y'know? Then I'll have the Tears of the Kingdom!

The goddess statue at the spring of courage in botw says that Naydra is a servant of Nayru, one of the 3 golden goddesses. I can assume that's the same for Dinraal and Farosh
The goddess statue also said that the dragons where the spirits of Hilya
Maybe they used to have a human form, but chose to become dragons so that they could forever serve the goddesses
I hope they release a dlc(or in the next game) they use the last three dragon as ways to get the Triforce
@@isaiahdavila9876and finally make the botw/totk world Canon on the triforce timeline
In making a Champion that was confirmed for all 3 dragons from BOTW
I really hope the dlc revolves around them.
I was bouta say
Shut up and take my money!
Absolutely that would be so cool
I personally hope it revolves around what happened to all the sheikah technology
I also hope there will be a new type of enemy. It can be found in the depths. It is a guardian carcass that wakes up and sees you then dies. Moments later gloom hands possess it and bam. Gloom Guardian.
First Zonai to discover secret stones:
"Man these edibles ain't shi-"
I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone bring up that the farosh themed clothing is called ceremonial in it’s description. When discussing lore, everything is important.
All of them say something about rituals/ceremonies, (as far as I know) heck the thunder one is used to get rid of the storms at Thunderhead Isles! I don't know how people just gloss over that...
It also looks nearly identical to Raurus clothing. Perhaps he is paying homage to Farosh and the Goddess of Courage? He is associated with the Color Green, same as Link.
They never say that the tears are the ONLY way, so they could be some sprit made by the goddesses
They could be, but its unlikely considering the other dragons in totk are from sacred stones
They are based off the three goddesses
Din, Nayru and Farore
They may be the goddesses but botw/totk are weird so they could be reincarnations
They each ate a piece of the triforce
Duh no shit sherlock, still the 3 must have swallowed a stone
@@Imkerchoo
I don’t know if you said this as a joke or not but I feel like that’s actually a solid theory
they created the triforce why would they eat it
The sound effects bro I can’t 💀
They are hilarious. Yahaha
That’s what I’m saying, like Zelda is just casually practically fucking dead but Rauru got a new Bugatti 😭
I too have been plagued by this question. Definitely worthy of DLC backstory. Also surprised they haven't really touched on the Triforce in the botw/totk era.
Goddess Hylia says herself that the dragons are spirits during the spring of power/wisdom/courage quests, which Ig they could be spirits of people but I think merely calling them spirits implies they aren’t/were never human
Poes are spirits and were once human 🤷♀️
If anything, spirit implies that they once were human. Or, I guess technically Zonai, in Mineru’s case. Point is, a spirit doesn’t just happen, something has to create it, either by dying, or by actually outright making it, and judging by how the Zonai know about Draconification, and that they didn’t know it could be reversed like with Zelda (apologies to anyone who hasn’t gotten the ending yet), it can be assumed at least one of the three dragons consumed a secret stone, in order for the Zonai to have figured out that was even a possibility
The Light Dragon is also called a spirit.
this implies humans dont have spirits - which just isnt true
*Him talking about Zelda lore*
“But you didn’t have to cut me off-“
"I WOKE UP IN A NEW BUGATTI!!"
Now I could be wrong but I don’t think it was stated to be the ONLY way to become a dragon. My theory is that they are the embodiments of the Individual pieces of the triforce or something like that.
Is the Triforce even seen or mentioned in TOTK? Lol
Wel not mention but to can see underlying references throughout dialogue and structures.
@@cheke_hsno because the triforce is already in the princesses and queens of hyrule, as you can see on Zelda's hand when she uses her power in Botw
Well the actual triforce isn’t seen, but it is mentioned or referenced in dialogue/architecture.
@@cheke_hsSonia had a tattoo of the triforce on her hand but I think that’s about it
They could be the oracles who were named after the goddesses, the ones that appeared in the Oracle games and The Minish Cap.
I said that, but the goddess statues at the springs say that they’re servants of Din, Nayru, and Farore
@@SuperJman1111Those were the oracle names as well
@@AbaddonEXE That’s what I said, I know
The sound bites you use in your shorts are insane, I love them
I've heard some say these three are just dragons, or are literally the goddesses. If it's the latter, the gods are not immune to becoming immortal dragons. Either way, how does Minaru know what happens when one eats a rock if no one had done so before Zelda?
Minaru. They asked Minaru.
@@carlenecolson7204 whoops 😅 that's what I meant
The meme sound effects somehow make the shorts better
All the music shift in the background made me have an aneurysm 😂
Draconification process was something the zonais knew about before if you look at the memory of Zelda with rauru meeting his sister Mineru for the first time. So I'm guessing these 3 dragons were some respected people and the first and only 3 people who ate the Secret stone a.k.a Forbidden Fruit Gummy at that time. Soo they're probably zonais. The oldest most prolly
They had to be around during zonal time since all 3 dragon amor sets descriptions talk about ceremonies or rituals and the flame, frost, and shock emitters are designed after their respective dragons.
My theory is that they’re somehow related to the Oracles Nayru, Din, and Farore, rather than the goddesses. This could also explain the absence of the Triforce. At some point, each one got a piece of the Triforce and then draconified, keeping the whole thing out of mortal hands for eternity.
I woke up in a new Bugatti- once said by the first king of hyrule
I’m hoping that the dragons are connected to the 3 golden goddesses
Din, Farore, and Nayru
They’ve had oracles before, and understanding that BOTW/TOTK Zelda is a descendant of SS Zelda, there’s a chance the three goddesses instructed three oracles (Oracle of Ages/Seasons shows at least Din and Nayru have oracles) to swallow the forbidden gummies. This could also show the whole draconification to the Zonai people, which they then banned the act for one of two likely reasons:
1) Since the three were instructed by the goddesses themselves, it would be going against their will to make more dragons.
2) What Mineru says, becoming a dragon causes moral issues.
There’s a possible third option that the reasoning changed over time, but either way I think the goddesses wanted Dinraal, Naydra, and Farosh to exist
And then (no matter why it was outlawed) Hylia said, “Alright, I’m getting my own dragon”
that audio melted my fucking brain
Bro they're litterally named after the 3 golden goddesses, din farore and naydra. So it seems like the goddesses draconified
I think they're me, I ate some weird looking gummy before
I always interpreted them as having been spirits who already were immortal entities. If I'm not mistaken, there's a line in Botw about the Dragons being described as "Spirits who take the forms of Dragons"
The light dragon is also refered to as a spirit, and Poes are called spirits despite being confirmed to be dead humans
It's important to note that Zelda's and Ganondorf's dragon forms have a completely different facial structure than the three dragons, who all look similar. That implies that the dragons retain a semblance to their original race. That rules out Goron, Zora, Rito, and Gerudo simply because the three dragons look similar, leaving only the Zonai left. Also, Mineru and Rauru knew of draconification and expressly forbade it. I'd say that the reason it's forbidden is the same reason there's warning labels on shampoo bottles.
Love the use of the first half second of overture from Ninjago
My little head cannon during my playthrough was that BotW and TotK are a convergence of the timelines and for some reason unknown, each dragon is a different timelines zelda turned into a dragon lol. Easy to debunk probably but a fun yet dark thought
Him: “Who are the three dragons”
Me: “Farosh Dinrall and Naydra. Easy.”
The dragons are the gods of wisdom, power and courage.
Being din as dinraal, faror as frosh, and Nayru as naydra
"Before om nom nom" sent me into fits of laughter
I like the idea that they're natural dragons and dragonification was discovered because they revered the dragons and wanted to figure out how to gain their strength (assumable the secret stones and og dragons both get their powers from the goddesses, hence why swallowing one replicates it)
I still laugh at the sounds u play when Rarau shows up (I think I spelled his name wrong)
When Mineru is discussing about the draconification method, she says "To swallow a secret stone is to turn into an immortal dragon."
That implies immortal dragons were around before draconification was a thing.
And since all three dragons have special weather effects and projectiles while Zelda does not, that could mean one of two things.
One, Zelda just didn't want to make it even harder for Link to get the master sword, or two, she couldn't use any dragon-like powers.
Which means the three sacred dragons are natural dragons and those who swallow a secret stone can only imitate a dragon and gain the immortality of a dragon.
Okay but if they arent transformed people, how did Mineru knoe about the draconification process?
@samlewis6487 Could be from legends, could be there were other dragons we don't know.
Who knows? Maybe some dragons from other games were once Zonai who swallowed a stone.
There's been plenty of both good and evil dragons in the series. Who knows how many of them were natural.
I do love the detail that the three dragons have the ears of Zonai.
The editing is killing me😂😂😂😂
In botw it is mentioned of them being sacred spirits formed to protect their designated springs (wissom, courage, power)
I remember playing the minis cap and there is a sort of quest about these 3 characters named din nayru and farore. Maybe they somehow aquired a secret stone and draconified themselves
It’s also possible that the dragons happened before the dragon’s tears cutscenes and were just above the cloud or offscreen in all of them
Something that adds to this is that iirc, if you do the math, there are 6 secret stones after zelda ate one, so 7 prior, and one of the murals of “the zonai descended from the sky” contains exactly 7 secret stones - so it’s fairly likely naydra, farosh and dinraal draconified before when the memories take place
I think what happened is there were multiple people at the base of the mural of Zelda becoming a dragon, they don’t have their garb but there are multiple people with the sages, so the probably took an oath to protect her and the sky islands in
The fact that they know what draconification does also implies this has happened before
I want DLC that sees the history of the Zonai, and we get three new dungeons centered around the dragons. I’d put Dinraal’s dungeon in the Akkala Depths, Lanaryu’s dungeon can be inside Mt Lanaryu, and Farosh’s dungeon can be in the sky above the Faron Grasslands.
This Editing is giving me an aneuryrsm.
That second of Ninjago music is holy 😂
In breath of the wild they were analogous for the 3 goddesses din->dinral, farore->farosh, nayru->naydra. And dispite suposedly leaving the world, acording to OoT lore, incarnations of din a farore apear in games as oracles so perhaps we will see a dlc story of the ancient hero (fed head furry link) which might include a new set of oracles facing the first calamity and designing the divine beasts to fight the 2nd calamity as well as developing "ancient tech" with the ancient shieka. It could also go into why the yiga came to worship the calamity and hate the shieka
"If The Only Way To Become A Dragon Is To Eat A Forbidden Gummy Fruit"💀
I think those dragons are the dragonified golden goddesses.
They ate the tears so they wouldn't be used against them
I love the background music so much
The charged set’s shirt (electric dragon shirt) piece is the same clothes that rauru wears fun fact!
If they knew that's what happen when you eat the forbidden gummy, and it ends up being true, then that means that they saw someone at some point do it, which would mean that at least one of them was an ancient Zonai, or that there's at least one other dragon that used to be an ancient Zonai out there somewhere.
Since the BOTW dragons have some different features than the Light dragon, longer ears and a different mouths, maybe that's cause they're ancient Zonai and not hylians that draconificated like Zelda
My dad had the theory that it was goddess hylia, the first hero and demise
And to add , I added that naydra (representative of goddess hylia in this theory ) needing saving in breath of the wild symbolises how Zelda always needs saving
I believe they only mention that eating the stones turns you into a dragon, and not specifically that all dragons are people who ate the stones
Each dragon is a servant for their respective gods which represent the 3 triforce pieces, so they were most likely made by the gods.
The dragons’ names are based on the three goddesses spoken of in Ocarina, Dinraal from Din, Naydra from Nayru, and Farosh from Farore.
It could be that their names were subtly changed over the millennia due to the unreliable oral tradition that Fi criticized when we first met her in Skyward Sword, and if Zonai were considered gods, it could be that three Zonai helped form the land below with the goddess before becoming dragons themselves.
(edited to correct, got the name of a region and a dragon messed up)
Naydra*
Lanayru is the name of the region
Naydra is the Dragon
BotW told us they’re elemental spirits that took the form of dragons, and there was not even the slightest hint that they were once people
The background music traumatized me so much i can't even think about the topic at hand.
It doesn’t say the ONLY way to become a dragon is to do the draconification process, they could have simply always been dragons
Small thing, but I'm thinking that they (or at least one at the time) were there before Zelda did her thing as Mineru had the info on the transformation in the form of a legend, so it would make sense
Similar topic:
I think I know the names of the 4 unnamed sages.
They have the same names as the Divine Beasts.
The Divine Helms are based and named off of the Divine Beasts however they also have direct connection to the sages, especially seeing as wearing one will make the respective Sage avatar wear the mask of their ancestor.
The Divine Beasts could’ve been named after the sages to honor them in a way.
Also there’s a connection for the sages and the champions as well.
Yunobo: descendant of Daruk as stated in BoTW. Also descendant to the fire sage.
Sidon: younger brother of Mipha. Descendant of water sage.
Riju: Descendant of Urbosa(I think). Descendant of lightning sage.
Tulin: I see connections between Tulin and Revali so there might be some blood relation there(if not then it’s the only non blood relation of all 4). Descendant of wind sage.
The divine beasts are named after other sages, not the four in TotK.
Urbosa explictly confirms that Naboris is named after Nabooru in OoT, and Rudania and Ruta are also named after OoT sages. Medoh is a little harder since it's the only one not named after an OoT Sage, but it's named after Medli.
You know how you said that kass might be in distant lands and a sequel or dlc might feature him and these lands I think that dlc or sequel would have these dragons aswell
Would be funny if one of them is the result of some Zonai thinking the rock looked tasty
I think it’s the 3 goddesses of hylia since it goes with their elements and Zelda was the finial piece of it
I'm really sure that it was never mentioned, that the ONLY way to become a dragon is by eating a tear
Maybe Maz Koshia knows something about it, after all he’s the conduit of the goddess
I have two theories.
1: They're ancient Zonai priest/shaman who undergo draconification as an ascension ritual after slaying their predecessors as a rite of passage, thus explaining why three exists.
2: They're a Zelda, Link, and Ganondorf who decided to eat the forbidden gummies to fight the aliens while said xenos were going War of the Worlds on Hyrule. I never said the theory makes sense.
I mean, we don't know that eating the stones is the only way to become a dragon. They could just be dragons
Jfc relax with the music in the background bro
The dragons are probably the goddess to stay with there people and to bless them
You’ve heard of twinrova now get ready for tripletrova
Zelda light dragon, din dinrall, nayru nadra, faror farosh
Since triforce isn't present yet or at all, I can say they're the 3 main fairies din, nayru, farore even if there names are super close but also doesn't mean the other sages are directly the dragons. TBH I WANNA KNOW ABOUT THE ROOM WITH THE STONES AROUND THE CRYSTAL HUB
Forbidden fruit bro thinks his luffy 💀💀
I think they could be like children of the old dragons from skyward sword because they have similar name to them and they each represent a price of the triforce.
Nah 3 Gorons (who happen to be powerful with power, wisdom and courage) found them and were like “I wonder what they taste like”
It’s possible that those are just straight up the goddesses, which would explain the lack of a physical triforce, and only symbolism and holy powers
The dragons sorta have zonai characteristics. White hair like a goat. Long ears. And the three dragons have scales on their face while the light dragon has fur.
This editing totally doesn't fit this type of content and i love it 😭
I know the sound effects are hilarious 😂
They could be based of the oracles din,Nauru, and farore
I've 2 Theories here
1. They were simply Din, Farore and Nayru (which would make sense because of the Names but i more and nore think this is just a Easter Egg for them)
2. They were a Orni, Goron and a Gerudo (now the question is how could a Sage of the WIND become a Ice Dragon also there i've a Theorywhich i write a little down undere these theory here) and also there were a Last Dragon a Water Dragon which either just died (if they can die) or the Zora one was the only which doesn't thought the Stones a yummy 😂
So the Theory how a Sage of the Wind becoming a Ice Dragon, maybe the Orni folk was at sone point capable of using Ice Magic (which would make sense because they Live in a very cold territory) and so when the Sage of the Wind swallowed the Stone, the Stone don't increased his Wind Power but instead the long forgotten Ice Power which slept in all of the Orni
I assumed that they were the oracles from Ages and Seasons, turned into Dragons to serve the three goddesses. Din, Nayru, and Farore in those games are more like avatars of the original goddesses, yes? If so, maybe they draconified at some point before this new hyrule formed. And it would make sense that the Dragons have been around a long time, since that was all in the Era of myth
I think Link took to mutch LSD and lives now in a fever dream.
One dragon has goat ears giving us a small inside
The ninjago music hits
the person that first ate the secret stone randomly
i was thinking they were the 3 goddesses due to the names being similar
They are based on the goddesses in the original Zelda games, Din, Nayru, and Farore. This is why the names of the dragons are Dinraal, Naydra, and Farosh. If they did have lore to them or are not the goddesses or anything of that sort, most likely they could have been a worshiper who ended up in their devotion turning them into a mindless dragon from one of the goddesses.
I've been thinking about this, Naydra specifically, because there is no ice sage or ice tribe. I guess the Zora could technically count, but not really. Maybe the other three are the other sages, as rito can already fly? Idk
Was it ever explained how “the Goddess Hylia” legend in Skyward Sword had turned into “the three golden goddesses, Farore, Din and Nayru” by the time of Ocarina of Time, only to return to being all about Hylia by the time of botw/totk?
This could be a great DLC quest line
Well it was never said that eating gummy is the ONLY way.
You can have true dragons on one side and gummy eaters on another side
It could be the three goddesses from skyward sword
I hope they talk more about the dragons in the DLC
Just imagine the possibilities
@@HammuXYZwhich three goddesses. The ones after each temple?
The three that made hyrule
That leave the chunks of the Triforce
I personally think that when the three goddesses ascended back to the heavens they actually ate secret stones, turning into dragons and going to the skies (the heavens).
It's (kinda) confirmed they're zonai due to their manes resembling the hair of a zonai while zeldas is gold like her hair and the clothing for each dragon was worn by hylians on ceremonies to honour each spring / dragon so it can't be hylian
The dragons are definitely ancient zonai people who were godlike and draconified. Proof? The armor sets prove this and the fact that the dragons are said to be Spiritual protecters of their respective springs. Also the zonai devices that use fire ice and shock are depicted with the respective dragons, this could be due to the dragons having been zonai.
Another interesting detail is that an owl is present on the thunder armor which represents courage, this fits with farosh being the protecter of the courage spring. Maybe the three zonai people were the sages of the Tri-Force (possible stretch)
I think there’s too many theories 😂 eating the forbidden fruit accesses knowledge
I want to eat the forbidden fruit gummy so I can be turned into Fredrick
I remember in botw that in their description it’s mentioned they have been in the lands from before recorded history. Okay checked it’s not before recorded history but since ancient times so depending on how far back Zelda really went it could be either before or after he transformation, I would still like to say well before as while yes those outfits are ceremonial they still look Zonai so I think the people celebrating them were Zonai.
the magic comma
My headcanon is that the three greatest devotees of the Golden Goddesses of the Triforce (Din - Power, Nayru - Wisdom and Farore - Courage) were once Zonai named Dinraal, Naydra and Farosh.
The goddesses were silent for a while and needed connections to the mortal world of Hyrule so the three Zonai devotees (who were sisters) went munch munch on some shiny new secret stones that were discovered and became the dragons.
