Tank view is probably the best track day shot you have done so far. Good lean angle perspective, great sound of the bike and also speed for cornering! Doesn't show body position but cut shots and a lot of implied positions can be found in the mirrors. Good use for someone trying to see not only how the bike performs but how its handled with an experienced rider! Shout out from Australia
Small detail, but you guys always have the best music and intros. Always find myself playing the intro a few times before watching the video on a lot of these.
We could be brothers! All based on our extreme distaste for FAT, UGLY bikes. I couldn't stand all 2000's Suzuki bikes, but then they broke out of the FUGLY stage. When they came out with this new bike, I was not ready to like it and the engine with cassette style gear box as well as the VVT had me actually going to their site to look more closely at it. Best bike, best bang for the buck, and clean lines for a lot less than the Ducati, Aprilia, and the Yamaha R1M. No Öhlins suspension, no colorful LED display, but you get everything else with an clean cockpit. I still can't believe I'm talking about a Suzuki, much less considering buying one. 😂 Dude, you got a good bike in your R6, it's the best around and it gives you a lot more than the rest. When I was riding a kawi zx6r, friends would say that can't stand it, they're going to buy one... I would stop them and tell them to get the R6! Yamaha runs a tight fit and their drivetrain is perfection.
IN the US our GSXR's have huge ugly Yamaha style yellow bulbs. Not these sexy little things he has on his bike. They look terrible, the old ones were better... I guess it's a "cheap" parts replacement though.
I had 163hp at the rear wheel before the flash and 188 after. I have a 2017 GSXR1000R with full M4 and bazzaz BMC air filter. It was a completely different bike after the flash.
VR46 Rossi yea. new bikes these days respond so well to tunes. stock maps are garbage once you ride a tuned bike (or even drive a tuned car) you'll never go back
@@oso1165 I think it's more about the abundance of emissions restrictions being removed. Even our 450L Honda dirtbike took a 20% power increase with ECU and full exhaust. Everything is corked up the bum.
@@drewmorg. for sure. Even if they dont gain peak hp or torque the way they deliver it is just so much better after theyve been tuned. Across the whole rpm range there will be gains and much smoother power
44Teeth all I need now is a 44teeth sticker or jizz machine because it’s super jizzy. Can you do a episode we’re people send in images of their bikes to you and you give honest opinions?
I just got rid of my k7 600. After watching the video about the BBB italia I started looking at ducati's just for ideas and traded the GIXXER brought myself a 1199.
I think it's the first 4 stroke that I've heard where the stock can sounds great. The S1000/rr sounds good because of BMW's special little fuel purge trick that makes it pop and crackle, but this can sounds great, which is surprising considering when EU 4 came in, we all expected cans to be a lot quieter.
Can't really tell, but have they not fitted it with braided hoses as standard? (thinks what's the point in changing pistons / disks and not fitting braided..)
When I look at the parts fiche for 2017 and 2018 1000Rs, here's what I come up with for brake parts: 2017: PISTON SET - 59100-14810 2018: PISTON SET - 59100-14810 2017: DISC - 59210-17K00 2018: DISC - 59210-17K00 2017: CYLINDER ASSY, FRONT MASTER - 59600-17K00 2018: CYLINDER ASSY, FRONT MASTER - 59600-17K00 If there's a difference between 2017 and 2018 parts, Suzuki never got the memo. I haven't had any complaints with my 2018, but I also haven't had it on track yet, so I'm sure I wouldn't.
I also notice that the TC light is flashing quite a bit, but I don't hear anything sounding like the ECU cutting in on the fun. Would you say that's true? Or did you feel it kicking back at you?
Haha easy gents. It was a light hearted way of telling 44T how God Damned awesome they are. I understand they owe me nothing I just really enjoy the their work. All good 🍻. ETA: I’m going to go order some of their gear right now. Good idea
SubieAlex well, the “and friends occasionally “ part was what I had in mind. Ari and Zach are two of the best testers and Moto journalists in the game right now. The magazine just added Adam Waheed who is a friend to everyone and well known internationally in the motorcycling community. To have them meet and put that ride and interaction on camera would be an amazing thing for me. I don’t see one as better than the other. 44teeth and Motorcyclist are just the top two for me. Let me just shout this, JUST MY OPINION.
There's a bottle neck between the butterfly exhaust valve and the muffler, you should get rid of it first. I wonder why they built in a restriction ? This thing needs a FULL SYSTEM for sure. Brock Samson has done his homework on it. Apparently the brakes are not up to level yet . . . SHAME.
There’s no cat in the can, it’s all under the bike in the headers. Get yourself over to the L7/L8 Page on Facebook and join us! m.facebook.com/groups/172999553164918

Love the onboard camera angle
Look how relaxed his hand is on the throttle...PRO 👌👌

I love this bike 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😚😚😚😚😚😚😚😚😚😚😚😚😚😗😗😗😗😗😗😗😗😗😗😗😗😗😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜
Best press bike, literally getting pressed harder than the rest... He's going to have a lot of people buying new bikes with videos like these! 👍🏼
Awesome watching your right hand and seeing how gentle you are on the controls and how deep you can brake.
Ahhhh the GSXR, what a fun thing to own. 💙👍
I loved the view and perspective of the camera looking through the windscreen.
Love the look of the new bike, no more indicators in the mirrors and no bulbous looking front fairing/headlight. Looks much more aggressive now
I know right! The busa look was awful!
Aint1S Exactly, that's the reason I went for the R6. I hate a fat looking bike and the Gixxer was the worst for it.

And their R6 would destroy my zx6r... Swap bikes and i would beat my own bike .

A track day in a f1 capable circuit is amazing !
I had 163hp at the rear wheel before the flash and 188 after. I have a 2017 GSXR1000R with full M4 and bazzaz BMC air filter. It was a completely different bike after the flash.
How much was the flash?
A concerned citizen I paid $500 but that was for flash and dyno tuning.
VR46 Rossi yea. new bikes these days respond so well to tunes. stock maps are garbage

The color pattern is so great.
Your a smooth operator, nice riding Al. I'm liking the white paint job 🖒
Great video and love the production quality being applied.
Love the video lads! I'm part of the gixxer gang, picked up a k5 1000
Love a K5
44Teeth all I need now is a 44teeth sticker or jizz machine because it’s super jizzy. Can you do a episode we’re people send in images of their bikes to you and you give honest opinions?
I just got rid of my k7 600. After watching the video about the BBB italia I started looking at ducati's just for ideas and traded the GIXXER brought myself a 1199.
Had my k5 1000 for 5 years after having a k4 1000 I love it.
jimbo10003 now that’s an upgrade
Hitting them apexes nicely 😎
Living the dream Al! Good stuff!
You guys make the best moto content!
Simply Lovely!
It might look like a dustbin, but man, that bike sounds brilliant.
I think it's the first 4 stroke that I've heard where the stock can sounds great. For a dustbin
Aww not a dustbin! Besides, you can't see it when you're riding it. All you need is a nice yolk and dash!
Pretty Kitty
Yoke! PMSL
Litre Class Gixxers have always had the best sounds of all the bikes in the segmemt. But looks are horrendous
I love the dyno videos, can't wait for the Gixxer one !
As always you make going fast look easy
it sings beautiful
Can't wait to see what exhaust you fit will make such an improvement to an already fantastic bike
Awesome, great video yet again guys! :D
Lovely little update Al, looked a lot of fun.
Another video on Brads bike and a bit of a look around or nah?
Great work on that intro!
Monster, nothing to say, but monster.
+12 hp with new exhaust, wow!
Who is that sexy hunk behind you at the beginning? Oh its James Sharpe
Wait a second, no close up shot for pops? Did he ask you to drop him off so he can walk in alone? Lol
Lamb Chop Rides and here's me thinking it was Pat Phelan from coronation street 🤣
Can't really tell, but have they not fitted it with braided hoses as standard? (thinks what's the point in changing pistons / disks and not fitting braided..)
Great camera angle!!
that bike is so fun looking at tht video. he must be having the best time of his life riding it. lol
Beaten mate!
Gotta say this is the best the gixxer ever looked.
Took one of these for a spin myself on Wednesday as it goes
Looks and sound nice !
I love the howl sound of the motorcycle. and You are a very good rider. Are you a racer? or just a good experienced rider?
a setup guide video would be great
just your take on it
2:08 is that the exhaust tone on the bike or the camera picking up the echo of the bike behind you? That echo is haunting!
When I look at the parts fiche for 2017 and 2018 1000Rs, here's what I come up with for brake parts:
2017: PISTON SET - 59100-14810
2018: PISTON SET - 59100-14810
2017: DISC - 59210-17K00
2018: DISC - 59210-17K00
2017: CYLINDER ASSY, FRONT MASTER - 59600-17K00
2018: CYLINDER ASSY, FRONT MASTER - 59600-17K00
If there's a difference between 2017 and 2018 parts, Suzuki never got the memo. I haven't had any complaints with my 2018, but I also haven't had it on track yet, so I'm sure I wouldn't.
Great video Al. Gixxer for me is a bit 'meh' compared to the competitors, still love the white paint on it tho. Cheers
you forgot to take off the right panniers
Do a cheeky get a 2nd ecu and flash it to remove the abs and have the original ecu on hand for normal riding ;)
lovely bike!!
I also notice that the TC light is flashing quite a bit, but I don't hear anything sounding like the ECU cutting in on the fun. Would you say that's true? Or did you feel it kicking back at you?
When are we going to see the Baron riding his HP4 race or you?
Sounds pretty good for stock.
Cool but BBB Italia. It’s been 3 weeks, mates. C’mon already.
Chill
Stop complaining about the free content. They don't have to do shit for you.
SubieAlex The self entitlement is infuriating.
It is. I mean, I understand if someone paid for it, like Patreon or something. This is just arrogance though.
Haha easy gents. It was a light hearted way of telling 44T how God Damned awesome they are. I understand they owe me nothing I just really enjoy the their work. All good 🍻.
ETA: I’m going to go order some of their gear right now. Good idea
I love how he calls the exhaust dust bin lol hhhh
GET ER DONE!!!
I'd be interested to see how those brakes respond to aftermarket pads, such as the EBC EPFA series pad. Any plans for the brakes?
That’s not that fast... Ho wait, that’s mph ?!?
Belo custo beneficio tenho uma suzuki rr a 1000 bela máquina mesmo.
Had it got traction control? Just trying to figure out what the lovely sounding buzz/rumble sound is
Great bike, but who designed the can, Dyson? I hate to see what a Euro 5 can will look like.
You don't go into 1st in that flick flak chicane!?
Que comment about the massive standard can that will get changed.
Something about this new gixxer makes it a contenter for boty for me...
Also who’s the guy who caned you at the end?
What a bike...
44Teeth > Motorcycle Magazine
change my mind
What's a magazine?
jk
I say Al and The Baron need to do a joint anything with Zack, Ari, and Adam. I can’t say one is better than the other. I love both outfits.
mcgregor glasgow In my opinion, their format works the best with just the two of them. (And friends occasionally).
SubieAlex well, the “and friends occasionally “ part was what I had in mind. Ari and Zach are two of the best testers and Moto journalists in the game right now. mcgregor glasgow Fair enough, I'll give those guys a watch. Nobody can beat 44teeth though, i n m y o p i n i o n .
It's lush m8😎👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Jason Statham on the white GSX-R1000R. Sexiness overload.
I concur .......nice video chaps but ........ WHERE IS BBB ITALIA? getting withdrawal symptoms
Please more on this bike

Brock Samson has done his homework on it.
Apparently the brakes are not up to level yet . . . SHAME.
I have had the front brake go soft.. In the first 500miles... I believe it is caused by the bs pump
That stocker sounds lush all the same.
YAW SUZUKI CAN YALL INTEGRATE THE INDICATORS WITH THE MIRRORS AGAIN. WOULD MAKE THE BIKE LOOK AMAZING.
A cat in the can, probably fit a fully grown tiger in that monstrosity
No cat in the can
Good slim design for for gsx r1000 look best hope Hayabusa new design should also be the best one
Did they take a load of R1's to compare?
Never been this early before.
What fuse do I take out to disconnect the abs for just track days.
caught the sun Al?
How's this bike going? Updates?
In the car world you can tune out a lot of functions you dont want. Could someone tune out ABS? I noticed how ledgeble that dash is! I like!
Shame not to see the onboard of Cooper/Ray's bike - but good vid all the same!
Separate video incoming. It deserves it!
Should have used you to assess the resurface... I would have seen a Moto GP race then
Who is that ol duffer behind you in the pit lane?......Is it take a dad to work day?....🤔🤔🤔👍🏻😎
If Suzuki gave them this bike, it's got to be a Yoshi pipe coming, no? 😋
Gsxr 1000r or 1299s for street/track?
Quality video and bike, but come on, where it the (not so) budgetto bikio battleo!?
BUDGET BIKE BATTLE .....Italia
more plz plz plz
Dash reallyy is so 80's casio watch though
VR46YAMAHA Go back to analog tach’s!!!
But the bike is not.
Was this from yesterday? Was gonna go but my wife was moaning about me doing too many track days
Mans looking tanned
My, what big hands you have..
I'm so early it's premature watchification
Andy S you are the first one actually
"We're going to ride Brad Ray and Richard Coopers bike" did you at least buy Brad dinner first?....
lol for a second I asked myself why he is riding so slow but than I realized the speedometer shows miles per hour and not km per hour. :D
Someone let that cat out of the can, or else I'm calling the RSPCA
I don't doubt the performance of the new Gixxer but it just looks a bit...........meh. Still, wicked video chaps.
A face that only a mother can love.
They should make the headlights just like their endurance racers.
That would be a marked improvement.
Suzuki should just make the front look like it did on the K8. Forever.
EnglishBikerDan they've also found a worse colour scheme than that Rizla blue
2018 suzuki exhaust
when the video is still unlisted but can see it okay...
BSB Weapons :D
what is the song at the begining :0
James Parkin darude Sandstorm
thats very old
It better be a Yoshi R11.
Those standard brakes need to go!
