Love the the blaster, its just to pricy for me to justify.
The new version of Momentum is so much better! Having all the adjustability on the spot is just game changing!
I got to hold one at a nerf war, and, I'm not saying it's worth it, but I understand the price. It just feels so good. I'm probably going to make a solenoid based flywheeler soon.

The idling mode is a great additon. Im really imrpressed by the UI without the use of a screen and dial.
Screws into plastic? No heat set inserts?
That's a mod you gotta do yourself on a $650+ blaster heh
Plastite self-tapping screws actually have similar/higher torque-out and pullout compared to heatset inserts. The blaster has heat sets where relevant (EG the battery compartment) where screws will be continually inserted/removed.

I’d love to know how many of these are in the wild…besides, Luke, Capt. Xavier, Walcom, etc. It’s obviously not many…$650 for a dart blaster is pushing it. I’m sure it’s amazing. I’m sure if I had one I’d love it. But at this price you could literally buy 3 high end blasters. No disrespect to Eli and Luke, I know tons of work went into this, but this is kinda a self fulfilling video.
It is pretty much the same price as an FDL3 was. This also hits a bit harder and is more compact. I probably won't be buying one, but the price does seem reasonable

@@jerryrush892 because I have an FDL3. I don't need to also get one of these, not enough of an improvement. If I didn't have an FDL3, I would be quite interested in this.

@@jerryrush892 I apologize if I seemed argumentative. I do agree that it is not going to be flying off shelves. I was trying to say that this is something that a certain category of people will want to get. This is definitely aimed at people who are really into the competitive speed dart type of play. It hits harder than almost any other flywheel, definitely for its form factor.
I'm so excited! Why is the max ROF only 26? I though it could shoot 35?
35 DPS is the absolute theoretical maximum, and many magazines can barely keep up. In our initial launch, we decided to cap units at 26 DPS for maximum reliability with all compatible magazines.

Great looking blaster and I can understand why the creator is keeping the files private, but if you pay $700 for something made of PLA that might warp in the summer heat in the southern US its going to become problematic for the people who are willing to pay for it.
I know how much work must have gone in to programming and assembling the boards and ESCs (prob. using a custom fork of BetaFlight) and how upsetting it would be for an unscrupulous company to clone and undercut your hard work but I think it'd be better in the long run to have at least some sort of purchasable maintenance .stl files that come with the blaster.

@@benlam419 It depends on the context. Rival is arguably meta for HVZ, and any CQC game without an ammo cap.
Really really cool blaster, and performance is obviously phenomenal. However for the price, and it being 3d printed, I feel this can't be that successful. Injection molding is super expensive but durability of 3d printed parts is just not worth the price tag imo.
If it used heat set inserts it would be a lot better. I think it's insane that it's screws into plastic.
