Ever since Eli showed this to me at FoamCon in july2022 I was utterly impressed. And way too scared to try it out myself, not to accidentally break it. This is definitely on my "to do and put it through its paces" list. Will have to see if I can arrange that for the winter when I am in the USA, international shipping will likely not be an option for an assembled unit.Really really nicely engineered blaster, much appreciated!
Right now this is my absolute favorite blaster. It does it all. The controls feel great. The menus are simple and easy to learn. It can hit like a truck and still be able to used indoors flinging foam with the kids. The only thing I really dislike is the battery compartment. I am still having so many issues plugging in my battery. It's really still luck for me and I've repeated the process at least 50 times.

They won't be releasing a kit but there will be a prebuilt core so you can print your own shell. The reason for this is because the average consumer is stupid and can't tell + from -, so they solder stuff backwards and then blame OutOfDarts when it goes up in smoke. So now OutOfDarts either has to replace a product that wasn't faulty or gain bad rep from not replacing it. Sure, there are plenty of people who know what they're doing, but these are too expensive to risk having to replace. Same thing with the proton pack kits.
While we wouldn't put it in quite the same way as @shatteredskies191, we are offering prebuilt cores to make it easier for you and ensure you will have a functional blaster in the end. It also makes troubleshooting problems easier when we know everything has been assembled in the same way by the same 2-3 people.
@TheStormbreaker3 We actually sold some cores alongside the fully-assembled blasters in the first batch! We're waiting for more feedback from blasters out in the wilde, but we are hoping to restock components and be ready for batch 2 by late fall or early winter.
What is the filament used for the exterior of the nebula-themed momentums? The purple and pink galaxy-looking color is beautiful and would fit some of my projects really well.

Nice blaster, nice design, I appreciate the work put into it but, the price is a little steep for what amounts to a toy made from PLA. Any chance it is printed in PC or Nylon+CF?
The flywheel core is printed in Polycarb, and everything else is in HTPLA. As long as you don't leave the blaster in a super hot environment, PLA is more than strong enough for this application, and it's much easier to print with.

Eli's designs make me wish I was less responsible with my money LMAO. He always just goes all out and makes sick blasters.

This is a random coincidence but the Transformers third party scene also has a company that's called "Dr. Wu"
The design reminds me of the recent 3d printed 9no gun, having the angled magwell, and box-like body(not kriss vector)

Is the pusher linked to the RPM detection of the flywheels or does it wait for a preset time for the flywheels to hit designated RPM?
Pusher only activates when flywheels are up to the right RPM.

Is the motor esc used for mini fpv quadcopters?
It's a custom ESC, but I believe it is similar to ESCs found in quadcopter drones.
