I got my brain MRI yesterday!!! Thank you with all my heart for your support about my last video! Please show respect to Amber and Johnny in public discourse, as at the end of the day, even with evidence presented in trial swaying opinion... none of us were present. It's ok to identify with one or the other as they may remind you of your own experiences as survivors (same for me), and everyone is allowed to have an opinion and should be allowed to express it! Let's try to keep it to the trial, and not engage in any name calling Download the Fetch Rewards app now → fetch.thld.co/swoop_0622 and use the code SWOOP to get 3000 points on your first receipt!

In the british trial where there was a judge instead of a jury. Amber came out with her stories against Johnny. I remember so clearly the judge saying, in her summing up, I can't imagine Amber making any of this up. So she found against Johnny. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Just because you personally couldn't believe she was making it up. People make all sorts of things up all the time.
At that time I was more open minded about who I wanted to win, but I was shocked at that judges summing up. I heard she retired afterwards. Its a pity she didn't retire before that trial

Wow, I had no idea that Savanah was into law at all. I thought she was just one great journalist with a bunch of experience, considering how well was she prepared for this important interview, and with the ability to make AH lie again and continue to contradicting herself. I think that AH honestly think that she is not done yet. No abusive narcissistic person will ever be able to improve themselves. It's against their nature.

And she openly questions her on her various inconsistencies. The fact that there's STILL people trying to defend AH when you've got people like Savannah calling her on her bs, is insane.

When she says that the trial was spent trying to make her look like a liar I just... yes, Amber. That is how defamation trials work. The defense to defamation is truth. If you weren't lying, there was no defamation. That's how this works. So, yeah, they have to prove you're a liar to prove you committed defamation that is literally the point.

My mother had the same conditions and temperament as Amber Heard. No one ever believed me as a kid because no one thinks someone could be that detached from reality, or that a woman is the primary abuser in the home. It’s my hope that public awareness of this case means that children and partners of abusive women will be heard.

    • @underthegardenwall
      @underthegardenwall 2 года назад +21

Right? I have a sister with BPD, and I grew up for two decades with her wondering what the hell was going on that she would be THAT detached from reality. I couldn't believe she could be so shameless in her "lies," but now I realize she has BPD. Amber is a carbon copy of my sister in that regard.
Sadly, I don't think many people realize what's going on here b/c Amber constantly accusing Depp in those audios is actually pretty indicative of BPD, yet people just take her words at face value.

    • @Nosfermarki
      @Nosfermarki Год назад +15

This trial happened shortly after I separated from my wife who has a cluster b personality disorder. I didn't know that and didn't know what it meant before. I had no idea someone can lie so blatantly and thoroughly. She lies and manipulates like she breathes. If you're not close, they appear completely normal. They are so adamant to blame their victims for what they are doing constantly, so it's impossible to tell who "the problem" is. If they're under a microscope, they crumble, but otherwise you'd never believe someone could lie straight to your face daily with zero remorse, concern, or consideration. It's like dealing with a humanoid robot that is programmed only to manipulate others for their own benefit no matter the cost. Once you've seen it you recognize the tactics. They are all carbon copies of one another who do and say the same thing, use the same tactics. It's unmistakable.

And, on top of it all, a judge who was approaching retirement, and did retire soon after the Johnny Deep vs. Dan Wootton &The Sun case, therefore could render whatever verdict he pleased without fear of any professional consequences. I had a BPD woman do to me what she did to JD and she also accused me of doing the same shit that she was doing to me. I Also sued her. I also won. Which is why I never ever jumped on the AH or “believe all women” bandwagon. It’s insanely sexist to presume that all women are saints and all men are lying pigs (note that I am a woman). There are some VERY mentally ill people in the world and sadly they don’t come with signs on their foreheads. And they don’t necessarily seem mentally ill because the stereotype we have for it is absurd and most people think mental illness means you talk to yourself and look like a transient. So when I heard “believe all women” I was sickened by it. A persons morality isn’t dependent on whether they have a vagina or not. I’m SO grateful the entire world got this lesson now. 🙏

The audio tapes are out online in full, I've listened to ALL of them, in full, the full context only makes her look WORSE, the shorter clips actually make her out to be LESS awful because they leave doubt as to whether or not there IS missing context, when you hear them in full it is clear there ISNT missing context so she loses that benefit of contextual doubt. So I find it funny that she's trying to make out like if you listen to them in full you'd see she's not the aggressor or she wasnt in the wrong, when that's not what you hear at all, you hear her berate and push and push and push Johnny for HOURS until ANY sane person would snap and at LEAST say something awful back, which is all Johnny ever does in them. The tapes were never edited in Johnnie's benefit, the only one who benefits from them being edited and clipped down is HER!

The way she described him as an abuser, he would've. And idk any victims who would goad their very violent abuser the way she did either. We were hurt by the false allegations and the constant lies that AH put out there. Using OUR pain and trauma as a weapon to use against your ex is disgusting.
I’ve also noticed that AH is very resentful about the IDEA of “having to donate the entire amount to be believed”, but no one that I know of told her that she had to claim that she was going to donate it to be believed. That was her decision to make that claim and to not follow through with it. Personally, I don’t think you deserve “credit” for making a donation that you are making for a terrible reason. On the Dutch show when she said she had donated it already, she paused and sighed like she was disgusted that she had to donate it and in this interview she speaks with complete resentment that she “had to” donate it, even when she hadn’t donated it. Savanna read part of the transcript where AH admitting to starting a physical fight. Savannah asked her about this. AH answered this by saying that an ab**ed person would ‘take the blame.’ Now, by saying that, she’s stating that the victim would do & say anything to appease the other person. But this doesn’t make sense in her case. In the recording, right after she said that she ‘did start a physical fight’ she added that she couldn’t promise that she wouldn’t start a physical fight again. Now why would she add that part if she was trying to ‘appease’ JD? That just sounds stu**d. The more she talks the the worse she sounds.

Survivors of DV just don’t talk like that.” A lot of people were pissed at me because they really wanted to believe that no one would lie about something so important. I love that people want to support women who come forward but it can’t be without at least some discrimination to filter out the abusers who claim victim to cause more harm when their partners finally escape.

Amber saying that she still loves Johnny is something that I hear from many abusers that want to stay in the head of victims. By her continuing to say that, I'm sure gives Johnny chills because he probably heard those words after being beat up or verbally abused. It doesn't make sense for her to love him if he is using his power to continue and abuse her even after years of being divorce.
Hope you doing good Swoop. Hope all victims triggered by Ambers words are doing good. Not all abusers are man. Not all abusers are physically bigger than you. No abuser deserves your time. Screw them.

It can definitely happen in the first few days or weeks where we feel that we want to make the situation "normal" and fix it, and the painful memories get bumped back by the nice ones in some reflex to find that balance. The idea that I had a reason to love him in the first place and missing how that used to be, I have to fight myself to stop the fear and pain from getting buried under the laughs and hugs. I have to remember that there's no fixing it and that I have to stop believing in him and just move on.
If I was still feeling that years later after 2 trials, I would be very worried about what's wrong with my emotions. I can't even ask myself why I feel it now without starting to ugly cry. I don't know why she thought that could be slipped in like something off a checklist without considering how it sounds in context.

From the beginning of the trial I’ve wondered why amber & her team took the stance of the op Ed not being about Johnny. Like if he abused you you have the right to call him out, so wouldn’t it have been so much more validating a stance to say yes I wrote it about him because he’s the monster who hurt me? I feel like the fact that she had to keep dodging that and being all vague about her intentions (not wanting to hurt him or his career? Please of course you would have) made her claims seem disingenuous from the getgo.

    • @rahbeeuh

Absolutely agree with you! My guess is since she was being sued for defamation she tried distancing herself from the op-ed being about JD. If it's not about him it's not defamation. That's where she went wrong bc admitting it from the jump would've actually established some form of responsibility but she took none.

    • @Darth_Selendis
      @Darth_Selendis 2 года назад +13

If she could've gotten away with calling him out directly, she definitely would have because she would have loved trashing his name and reputation. The reason she didn't was most likely because she was advised to avoid it due to being sued for defamation. That's why JD sued the Sun in the UK trial first since they didn't bother to obfuscate who they were talking about, and many people believe defamation cases in the UK are easier to win.
Once she testified in that trial, it was pretty much guaranteed that the US trial could go forward because her testimony basically "legally" affirmed the op-ed was about JD.

Because Amber herself bombed several of the legal strategies that her team could have used. Because she is unable to accept responsibility for anything, including admitting the article was about him which would open her up for defamation charges (if she was lying), she is left with maintaning several contradicting narratives at the same time.
She is used to gaslightning and people believing her without looking further into matters (since this has worked for more than 6 years) so she expects others to agree with whatever narrative she is presenting at the current time even if it contradicts her previous statements about the same issue.

it's incredible someone who built their platform on supporting survivors and sticking together is still profiting off an abuse case involving literal r*pe. you have posted a multitude of accusatory videos towards a r*pe and abuse victim. Someone who has clearly engaged with reactive abuse to survive.
The last time I left a comment like this you replied in a snarky tone saying it was obvious I hadnt watched the video and didnt understand your point of view but these videos just kept coming out, Swoop. You've doubled down multiple times that you're clearly on Johnny Depp's side - Johnny Depp who is extremely close with and supportive of people like Marilyn Manson.
You are alienating yourself from people who are capable of good faith arguments, do you feel proud scrolling through your comment section? Do you feel happy seeing all of your fans victim blame? Is it joyful to see your comments call Amber heard things like a petty b*tch, a liar? Are you not aware of how power dynamics work? YOu mention recovering from being abused by a narcissist so why are you feeding into a r*pist's smere campaign? I just literally cannot begin to comprehend what your thought process is when youve made videos covering DARVO and yet here you are, perpetuating and contributing to the reversal of victim and abuser.
I hope you're doing better since your "I'm Not Okay" video, Swoop, but I hope you hold the compassion you've been needing for other victims too soon. Johnny Depp has a clear history of violence and misogyny, he lost that case in the UK and was labeled in their court of law as a wife beater. even if amber heard lied about a few things, do you feel confident in putting out a video like this? Do you think her lies negate the sexual assault shes had to recover from? the abuse shes experienced? do you think her lies justify being SA'd? why do you not have any videos covering Johnny's inconsistencies or problematic nature? Please do better.

lol there ya'll go again. Your best argument is, "He's friends with Marilyn Manson," or "the UK trial."

Furthermore, ya'll Amber fanatics are promoting self-harm, doing targeted harrassments of DV survivors like Swoop and Britney Spears, calling Camille Vasquez a "cunt"...get off your soap box already.
Lastly, Johnny Depp also has had EVERY ex-girlfriend publicly defend him:
WINONA RYDER in 2016: “I cannot wrap my head around these accusations. He was never, never violent towards me. He was never, never abusive at all towards me. He has never been violent or abusive towards anybody I have seen. I truly and honestly only know him as a really good man - an incredibly loving, extremely caring guy who was so very protective of me and the people that he loves, and I felt so very, very safe with him. I do not want to call anyone a liar but from my experience of Johnny, it is impossible to believe that such horrific allegations are true. I find it extremely upsetting, knowing him as I do.” Also testified in UK trial.
VANESSA PARADIS in 2016: “I have known Johnny for 25 years. We have been partners for 14 years and we raised our two children together. Through all these years I've known Johnny to be a kind, attentive, generous and non-violent person and father. And from my personal experience of many years, I can say he was never violent or abusive to me. I have see these outrageous statements that have been really distressing, and also caused damage to his career because unfortunately people have gone on believing these false facts.” Also testified in UK trial.
KATE MOSS in 2012, also insisted on testifying in this trial: “There’s nobody that’s ever really been able to take care of me. Johnny did for a while. I believed what he said. Like if I said, ‘What do I do?,’ he’d tell me. And that’s what I missed when I left. I really lost that gauge of somebody I could trust. Nightmare. Years and years of crying. Oh, the tears!”
LORI ANNE ALLISON in 2016: “Johnny would never lay a hand on a woman and isn’t capable of hurting anyone. He’s a soft person.”
SHERILYN FENN in 2017: "We were very young. I met him when I was 19 and he was 21. We dated for two and a half years when we were just starting out in the business. He was very sweet. He was my first love." She has also made countless Instagram posts supporting Johnny throughout this trial.
JENNIFER GREY in 2022 TV interview: "From my experience with Johnny, I never had anything violent with him. Whatsoever. He was a rebound relationship for me, and if you're looking for a rebound relationship, 1989 Johnny was *chef's kiss.* He wiped out all my pain, like an etch-a-sketch."

The fact that she was (obviously) given all of the questions and that all of her answers were (obviously) prepared irks the hell out of me. After all that prep time, she still can't give convincing answers? Bish, please.
For example, the pledge/donate thing would've been easy for her to clear up on the stand and very easy for her to answer here. Just say, "I did pledge the entire thing, but it's normal to make large donations in annual payments. That is how it's done." The wave off all follow-ups by saying, "My accountant takes care of all that and I'm really not sure of the details. I'm not schooled in economics."
Done and done. Of course then people would be calculating and come to understand that, by investing the money, maximizing her annual tax write-offs, and taking into account the interest made on the account, she'd still end up with about half that money for herself at the end of ten years, but at least that would've been an honest answer.
And it would be correct. That is how large donations are usually made.
The fact that she missed two payments to the ACLU before JD sued her and that she never donated a dime to the children's hospital, makes me believe that the reason she can't articulate a clear answer is that she's tap dancing and never intended to give any of the money away in the first place.
THAT kind of crap is why I can't believe her.
That and the tapes. Those damn tapes.

I think ppl are so riveted by this because it’s shining a light on this particular personality defect that so many malicious women get away with. However, it seems logical that a nation, a world, has been moved by this due to an abundance of manipulative human beings.

🙋🏻‍♀️both an overt narcissist female friend and a covert narcissist male ex. I would get sucked into their world and version of reality and it took forever to pull away and even longer to parse what was actually true and what was gaslighting. I feel awful for Johnny having to go through this trial but he is so damn strong for enduring her attempts to lie about him and re-smear him to the public.

My mother ist like this. I moved out a long time ago, but speaking to her still totally traumatizes me because I know what she is doing, but if I call her out she ist either going to explode or gaslight. I see through ist but it is so devastating every time to feel like I am a worthless and do not matter and do not know how to think logically.

Yes. The most captivating part of the whole thing is the malignant personality on full display, and how that has effected so many people. We can see it so clearly. The way she speaks, tone of voice, even the way she holds her mouth scream manipulation. I know that sounds weird but my alarms go off. And the creepy thing is the striking similarities with other malignant predatory POS people out there. Man or woman IDGAF. Anyone claiming otherwise is the most naive person on earth, or has the same personality defects as this bed shitter.

All I can think about when amber explains free speech and finalizes it with "speaking truth to power" is how proud she looks of herself that she came up with that. Like she's telling her assistant to write that down I'll use that in my book! (Like the quintessential out of touch celebrity parody) it's so over the top and goofy.

yeah, i’m not sure how it works in the US but in canada when u “buy” a house the bank gives u a loan upfront to pay that person right away… the only person who gets paid over time is the mortgage/lender… so her house analogy is STILL invalid…
it’s wild how she feels no shame for lying this blatantly..

I listened to all the recordings. One was 4 hours, a few were like 2 hours each. I can tell you with 100% certainty that nothing in the entire recording supports her story at all. It all makes her look much worse. Thats why they didn't play the rest of them. You can clearly hear who the abusive one was, and on tape, evidence of JD trying to end the arguments and AH being the one to keep poking and prodding for a reaction and never once getting it.

Ikr. I think there are 11h of recordings online, i believe i managed to listen to all available audios and it took me a lot of time bcos i was feeling terrible after 20min of each and had to stop and take a break. She was intolerable and i dont understand how on earth he managed to stay as logical and calm in most parts. Indeed nothing more in these recordings supports her stories and i found so many more instances that could have been used to prove Johnny's case. Thank God their therapist told them to start recoring themselves bcos without these audios the argument "you never know what goes behind closed doors" would have been used so much. But these tapes along with the rest of the evidence and testimonies make a very solid case. Idk if their therapist saw through AH and tried to save JD, but i'm glad she made them do it. Just like i'm glad the trial was televised.

I nearly had a panic attack listening to those audios of her bellowing, gaslighitng, and mocking Depp. One particularly stood out to me where she threatens to call the cops on Depp after an hour of berating & sexually coercing him, which was WILD. I have no idea why that audio wasn't played in trial tbh.

The way she has this rose tinted love story way of speaking about him just felt so off for me that was one of my turning points where I was like something feels wrong here.

Hey Swoop, congratulations on your MRI 🥳, Mine is later this week. You were saying that it’s unusual for a survivor to say “you” instead of “I” but that’s not quite right because JD did it multiple times on the stand. I was watching the case on a livestream panel that included a psychologist who was saying that sometimes victims have to present their story from a distance so they don’t break down. Sometimes that’s achieved by telling their story as if their audience was going through it “you would have to do this” rather than “I had to”. I believe AH is doing this BECAUSE she heard JD doing it, she listened to a real victim to improve her performance of being a victim. Ironically she was paying such close attention to everting he said but I don’t believe she ever actually *heard* him (oh double irony Heard)

  • @landamongthestar

I haven't seen many people talking about how wonky her comparison to buying a house is (regarding her pledge/donation). Because the house is still paid in full, even if you didn't had the full money yet. The person selling you the house receives the full amount. A bank loans you the money, and you have to repay the loan (and you can't easily suspend the payments like she did with her pledge). The main difference between buying a house and her "donation" is that, even if YOU haven't given all the money yourself, the person selling the house has received the money, whereas in her case the organizations didnt receive the money! (Unless it works differently in the US, since I'm not from here, but I doubt it!)

What boggles me is that anyone who has been SA'd with a broken bottle, if they survive at all, suffer horrific damage to their insides that absolutely require surgical procedures, ongoing medications, psychological care, and they very often endure permanent nerve damage that prevents normal sexual activity, even normal gastrointestinal activity, and ease of everyday activities such as walking and sitting. For her to claim she was assaulted with a broken bottle and required no treatment and went on immediately with regular life including socializing demonstrates she absolutely was not assaulted, and that she is utterly ignorant to the inescapable realities that victims endure.
