For viewers of the future I made mistakes on this drain work. Bathroom was for my house and only used for a short time when somone needed to live in the basement in the family as of now still no clogs or issues but idk how long it would have lasted with constant use or not though . I could fix it but honest bathroom is never used other than i occasionally run water in the lines . I’ve learned from my mistakes. When I tied into the original drain line by code I should have used a Y fitting or a long sweep 90 can’t use a sanitary T horizontally . Granted it was not fully horizontal it kinda was at an angle so the waste pipe is actually lower than the new line so it is essentially dropping down into the old line . So maybe never had issues because of that . It wasn’t fully a horizontal connection. You can’t see In this video but I did vent the tub, and toilet vanity with a studer vent in the wall later but it’s to small I used 1 1/2 pipe not 2 in for that vanity line off the 2in tub drain . So big thing for venting reasons I should have kept toilet 4in and the vanity line that was venting everything should have been 2in not reduced to 1 1/2 .
Just got me a Bosch 11321EVS. Turning a makeshift bathroom into a real bathroom. Not doing a tub as it is in the basement. Might do a double head shower instead. I have the perfect L shaped space to do it. Will have to poke through the floor like you did. Ferncos are the best.
Your tie in to the waste is not correct. You are not supposed to tie in with a sanitary T. You need to use a Y with a 45 degree fitting so it will make a long turn sweep. The sanitary T fitting is to sharp of a turn for waste, and you are liable to get a clog
Yeah I was worried about that also I had the furnace in the way and no drawings of the plumbing before hand . Its my house so hopefully we don’t have any issues it’s not a heavy used bath.
you should of installed an all glue trap for your shower, and whats up with the up and over on the trap, where are the vents, you should of used a comby to tie into your existing
@@omegaplumbing Obviously, you can tell by the way they didnt use combo! They used a san tee.. Iam from Calif all plumbing fixure need vents! Not this shit
More illegal plumbing work, you cannot install a sanitary tee like that, San tees should only be vertical, also you rolled the shower up, that's called an s-trap 🤣🤣, these poor homeowners.
This is for my house . And it’s been working good so far I have a follow up video of where I put venting and everything. This is for a small efficiency in a basement for a family member.

Thanks for sharing your skills. I look forward to doing my basement bathroom soon.
First time 😂
Maybe camera the lines before you start?
Codebooks are free online.

Used a tub so it had venting there’s a follow up video where I showed a vent in the wall for the vanity.
I DON'T SEE THE 2" VENT FOR THE TOILET .....
Fail the inspection!
You know this job is not inspected...

No vent pipe?
Tub is vented with over flow and I added a vent for the vanity in the finished wall cavity check the updated video to see what I mean.
