Your kicking ability is really good and the jumping tutorial is great, I have no idea if they teach that in the class, last time I did a class they didn't.

Yes there is, your body needs to rest and recover at points and if you keep working through instead, you increase your risks of getting injured. I literally have no diet, I eat anything but am educating myself more on this subject lately :) Very rarely now as I do a lot of plyometrics when I trick so I get a workout from that. No problem. I started when i was 15. I trained every other day and practiced everything all round. I focused a lot on my weaknesses and made them my strengths. I was really bad at static stretching but had a knack for dynamic moves. Must be the twitch fibers. I'm sure he will do great if he works hard. Good luck with his training :)

I train tricking on loads of surfaces so i don't really know what the ones in gyms are but in my gym they are 40mm puzzle mats. Hope that helps :)
