I have been doing Taekwondo for over 8 years and Tricking for 4 years :)
I'm 13 years old and I practice Taekwondo since I were five. Congratulations, keep doing this, it's so helpful! Hugs from Brazil :)
No problem and thank you for your appreciation :) That's great! I'm glad you feel that way and i really appreciate your support. Thank you :)
Got my black stripes yesterday and now I definitely have to work on more control over my kicks. Your video helps me so much, thanks!!!:)
Cool and i'm glad it will help :)
I appreciate you saying that. Thank you :) Well leg control is being able to control your leg, extend it out slow, etc. Balance is about weight distribution and remaining upright. For this you don't necessary have to have good leg control but you need balance when it comes to leg control hence why some drills are very similar. Good luck :)
Thanks to this tutorial, and the stretching tutorial, my kicking went from 90 degrees (waist high) to 135 degrees (higher than my shoulder) in like two good sessions. I am 6'5" and can Roundhouse Kick training dummy set to like 6'11" or 7 feet on the temple. I went ahead and subscribed because these tutorials are well explained and very effective, not to mention the VERY fast feedback from Aaron. Thank you GingerNinjaTrickster. I'll be waiting for those combination tutorials!
I'm glad you appreciate me making them and thank you for your blessing and support :) Good luck with your training :)
I'm glad you find them helpful :) It's a combination of both. Practice both sides and you can't go wrong as each side will in turn help the other :)
Great tutorials Sir you are a credit to Tae kwon-do. As a Tae Kwon-do instructor for 12 years there is still lots for me to learn and a lot of your tutorials are making there way in to my class thank you for the effort of putting them together and sharing your talent
I'm glad you like them and I appreciate you saying that. Thank you :) That's great! There is always more to learn which makes what we do so fascinating :) Have fun and good luck with your training/teaching :)
I'm glad you like the advice and I appreciate you saying that. Thank you :)
I'm glad they have helped and that you like the way I structure my tutorials. Maybe in the future :)
I don't fight anymore but i used to under ITF Rules. In ITF you are allowed to punch to the face and this is why hand techniques are used more. WTF is mainly sport orientated and geared towards Olympic Sparring but still contains Self defense techniques. ITF is considered more traditional and focuses a little more on self defense. Obviously some clubs and instructors might choose to teach differently in either though but each should be respected for what they offer though :)
I'm glad you think so and i really appreciate you saying that. Thank you :)
Really appreciate you saying that and good luck with your future training :) Thank you for your appreciation and i will do my best to :)
I'm glad you liked it and think that. Thank you :) In the future i will do :)
I'm glad you liked the tutorial and that it helped. Thank you and good luck with your training :)
I'm glad you think so and I appreciate your support. Thank you :)
No problem. Appreciate you saying that. Thank you :) I'm glad they help and i have made one already. It's in the same tutorial as the rear roundhouse. I have to separate videos on the roundhouse. One that comes back and recoils and the other that goes straight through. Good luck with your training :)
I'm glad they help :) As long as you have built the exercises up and can do them to a good level already. Otherwise, you will struggle and damage your legs. Also with ankle weights, don't do any fast motions as it puts too much pressure on your joints. Hope that helps and good luck :)
Thank you for your appreciation my friend :) I'm glad they help and no problem :)
No problem. I'm glad it helped and thank you for your appreciation my friend :)
That's true and a lot of people do that but i consider that more for stretching your leg. This is for leg control so I like to use the hand as your leg usually takes more of the weight than doing it with a belt. Hope that makes sense and good luck with your training :)
I'll add it to the list and thank you for your suggestions :)
This certainly helps but their are many other skills that are needed like good balance, adequate flexibility, etc. Good luck with your training :)
No problem, I'm glad the help and they aren't that big at all, i'm a UK size 9 :)
I'm glad you think so. Thank you :)
I'm glad you think so. Have fun :)
I'm glad you liked it. Thank you and no problem :)
I appreciate you saying that and I'm glad they are helping. Good luck with your training :)
I don't have one yet but these leg control drills will improve your muscular endurance in your leg and if you want to challenge yourself more, put ankle weights on and that will get you strong legs :) Will probably put up more drills in the future though :) Really appreciate you saying that. Thank you and good luck with your training :)
No problem and thank you for your appreciation :)
Them tutorials will definitely help. Good luck :)
I'm glad you liked it :) that's great and that's next on my list weird enough. Will do my best. Thank you :)

I'm glad you think so and thank you for your appreciation :) Good luck with your training :)
That's great :) I will be making more videos in the future and this video will definitely help with those :)
Definitely. Flexing the foot forward or tightening it up works different muscle parts in the leg, hence why you feel more one than the other. Good luck :)
No problem. I'm glad you like them and think that. Good luck with your training :)
I'm in IMAA too as your partner was. These drills are a brilliant idea. I am going for my red belt soon so I require balance. Thank you

I'm a first dan (degree) black belt and I thought that I would be able to do this no problem. Boy was I wrong! I did do a lower body work out before I tried this but even so I didn't expect to find it so hard. You're seriously good mate, and these are some great exercises that I haven't seen before. Gonna start incorporating them into training and I hope to see a difference. Thanks for the video.
tomzjamz Yea, they are deceptive when someone demonstrates them. I remember trying them after seeing my father demonstrate them easily lol Glad you liked them and no problem :)
Sweet, I suddenly got the urge to relearn and practice kicks and I didn't know how to get better at them. You just earned a new sub :D
MrKise93 That's great and thank you for your support :)
Omg these are way harder than I thought..you make it look so easy
Thank you I appreciate your videos seriously. Because I already have an excellent teacher but your video helps me a lot at home for more technical. Thank you to publish these videos on the internet.
I see why your kicks are so spectacular. I'm going to really train on that. Tks for sharing
I am going to start taking karate lessons in my friends class and I'm excited!
Really appreciate that. Thank you :) Well i have been training for just over 8 years but have been able to do these drills to a good level about a year and a half to 2 years in. It depends on you really, i was quite lazy at the beginning regarding certain things so i probably could have progressed faster. Good luck with your training :)
Yes! They are very helpful in building leg control :) Just don't do any quick motions with your leg so you don't damage your joints and if there is too much strain then lower your leg. Good luck :)
This has truly help me with controlling my roundhouse kicks. I am currently studying Tang Soo Do It is good to know these exercises works across different martial arts. Thank you so much for sharing,
I'm glad it has helped and that's great! No problem :)
It depends on what you want to improve for. These drills, stretching, dynamic stretching and repetition of kicks will improve kicking ability. If you want to be better at sparring then you need to practice movement, timing, reaction, etc. There are so many things to improve on, i just practice all round when i train. Good luck :)
Please can you upload a video showing how to make proper chamber for different kicks???
i really like that you reply to everyone's questions/comments :)
I appreciate everyone's support so I try my best to :)

No problem. I'm glad it helped :)
I appreciate you saying that. Thank you :) No problem and that should give you efficient progress. Good luck with your training :)
I'm glad it helped and increase the height or wear ankle weights :)
Dude thank man i really appreciate it a lot really improved the results of my kicking now i can do many kicks with my left and right legs =)
Thank you and yes i have :) I recommend them if you get your leg control to a good level before hand because if you do it at the beginning of your training it's very difficult and increase your chances of injury. I think of it like a novice weight lifter going straight in to bench 100kg. Obviously not a good idea lol If you do use them, don't do any quick kicking motions or it will put too much pressure into your joints. Good luck :)
I appreciate you saying that. Thank you :)
Really appreciate you saying that. Thank you :)
UKITF. Really appreciate you saying that and i will do my best to :)

Hey again Aaron! I'm the guy who had bad flexibility and with a clicking hip. I did alot of stretching and stuff, but I think that i pushed myself too hard so my hip kinda snapped. It sounds bad, it was bad, but now it isn't. I'm going to a physical theriapist so he'll look at it.
I just want to say thank you for sharing these exercises. I think that this may be what I'm missing. That I have no strength in my hips/core and I want to get at head level at once. I'll take it slower this time. :)
That's great. I'm glad you think so. Good luck with your grading :)
You know I love your videos. Now I'm exploring your tutorials and I really enjoy your "lessons". Keep up the great work. :)
