Our family loves papayas. I am usually the one who gets the honours of cutting them! However, I thought I would share something with you. I find its easier to remove the skin with a vegetable peeler while the fruit is whole. Then, take the naked fruit -careful, its very slippery!- and cut it in half, then de seed it and further cut into cubes or slices, or however you like them. Thanks for your video.
You're so thoughtful in how you explain things, THANK YOU! Watched this since I literally just bought a papaya for the first time so I can do a facemask. 😍
Soooo helpful! I'm very unfamiliar with Papaya and went ahead and bought one so my daughter and I could try some. Also, I love that you talked about all the great benefits as well. Great video; this alone got me to subscribe to your channel.
Thank you for posting this! I'm going to start eating papaya to fix the digestive enzyme imbalance that I'm having since gallbladder surgery. They are suppose to be a great source of natural digestive enzymes. Hopefully it helps but if not then I'm sure it will still be a delicious snack!
I just bought a papaya for the first time. I had no idea how to cut and peal. I also wanted to know the health benefits. This video was very informative. Salam.
You made it look easier than when I tried it. I made a big tropical fruit salad for one of my friends to bring to a big company potluck and she said it was awesome. Keep up the good work too!
My wife bought papaya for the first time this week. I watched this video as I cut it for the first time. It helped a lot and we loved all the fun nutritional facts as well. I made sure to subscribe :)
Thankyou I got alot of these today at a food bank. I wasn't sure if I wanted it but now I'm glad I did. I will cut mine up and freeze them for when I need them
I just watched your video after I cut my papaya. I haven’t had any in quite awhile, and I knew it was good for digestion, but thank you for sharing all of the additional benefits!
Thank you so much I’ve never used or eaten papaya before found your video to be very helpful also great to learn that it’s such a good fruit for the body
Good video. I cannot believe I am 45 and this is my first time ever eating a papaya, this is a very good tasting fruit, I got it as organic and those are usually the absolute best. (And somehow I accidentally clicked the dislike button first but I changed it to “like“ somehow it was an accident.) I’m going to have to start checking out all fruits that I haven’t tried yet because this is a very good tasting fruit…
Today i bought Papaya and i had no idea how good this fruit is, thanks a lot for information! I just saw something big and green and i bought it... In Sweden btw :)
TY so much for thos video. You're straight to the point and very thorough. Also. Mad props.... you're a BEAUTIFUL Indian Woman with class. I'm a Sephardic Jew and I just love the Indian culture. Shu karia... did I spell that right?? Lol. Stay Blessed on Purpose. I just subscribed to you as well. 😊
I just bought a pappya yesterday for the first time. I had it all wrong, i thought you eat the seeds and discard the fleshy part. Good thing i watched the video.
I was paying $1.50 a pound at a local Flea Market and would purchase only the best. Then I went to a local Wholesale Produce Market and bought 1 - 30 pound box with 8 Papaya for $0.75 per pound but you have to buy the entire box as is so you cannot pick the best. At the local Store, they cost $3.99 per pound.
Ty going to b eating more papaya . Works well fir my diet .. Usually cut it up put it in the frigerator take out about 5 pieces have half an apple half a pair and that's breakfast thank you
when you drag the blade of the knife sideways accross any surface you are going to lose the sharpness of the blade do my suggestion is to use the back of the knife and scrape the stuff off the cutting board. Thank you for sharing this
I bought a papaya yesterday for first time. It's a green papaya. The lady at the store told me it's supposed to be green. papaya from Hawaii. it's turned kinda yellow. I'm going to eat it now. avacados are very soft and silky.
I just cut and ate a papaya, and trust me as someone who doesn't know anything about the kitchen this "how to" video was really helpful! Thank you!

I wondered about the peeler technique. Thanks for sharing
It would seem like this approach would make the papaya more slippery to deal with especially with a knife.

Papayaa are MIRACLE workers for the SKIN.
But how much can I eat to keep my skin looking good? :)
What does it do for the skin?

I heard it helps a lot with digestion. That's what got me interested in papaya Lol.
Wrong , the seed is removed with a spoon not fork. The skin is removed easy with a potato peeler before cutting the papaya in two.
Great tutorial! Thank you for all of the nutritional information as well. 😊
What a sweet, cute lady and video. Thanks!! Learning to be vegan and SO intimidated by fresh fruits and veggies!!
Thank you for your video. Been nursing my self back to health with fruit and vegetables. God bless you.

Thank you Raihana. Just bought my first papaya. It’s really dark green. So I’m guessing I leave it on the kitchen table to ripen like a banana.

I never had fresh papaya before this was so helpful
Just got a papaya today for the first time ever. This just helped me a lot.
I use a potato peeler for mangos & carrots because it removes the skin smoothly and quickly. So maybe it would work for that papaya too.
Great tutorial on the benefits of the papaya and how to cut one!
After watching this,I’m sold!!it Looks like I’ll be trying papaya for the first time tomorrow 👍❤️
Thanks for your video, I wasn't sure how to prepare this fruit.
