- You will not believe what the interior of the new Skoda Vision 7s is capable of, there's so much going on with this car at the moment that's it's hard to fit it all in one video.
I'll have more coverage on what Skoda are doing right now and on into 2026 in other videos but right now sit back and what what happens

Skoda have changed alright,I remember a time when they were affordable!
Agree, they used to be the affordable brand with hefty motors and eurostyle design.
I remember a time in the mid-1970s when they were a total joke and only driven by those very oddball school teacher types… 😂
@@TiredOfAllOfThis The joke was on the detractors - the little cars, though old fashioned, were solid, reliable and cheap to buy and maintain. Owners had the pleasure of watching them smash the competition in their class in the offroad hilly RAC Rallies in the 1970s and later in the Favorits and Felicias, though the jokes had died down by then.
@@frglee True… but they made the Austin Metro into a great Rally car too… and that had no redeeming features or real impact upon the POS Austin Metro in Terracotta red that I endured… 🤔🤣😂
Wich car is affordable? 🤔 🥴🤕
I got a lift 4 years ago in a Skoda Kodiac & was so impressed that I bought one the next day. Reading many of the comments here I get it that people want a really affordable BEV small family car. Skoda used to make cars in that segment & while I really like my IV80x I think what more people need is the kind of concept cars that Citroen are showing us in the Ami and more particular the OLI. I for one do not like infotainment screens as I think they are a dangerous distraction. Many of us possess smart phones which can do most of infotainment functions. I'm thinking back to some of the cars I have owned like the Renault 4L, simplicity itself. We need to get away from complicated stuff in our cars. Get the weight down & think more about passive safety. I love your review Bob but I think the Enyaq is the last large car I will own.
Will be interesting to see how close the production model will be. Skoda have certainly come a long way!
From where they started to this model is some journey!
First glance of the side view reminded me of the Range Rover
Not Skodas first time 'borrowing' from Landrover, remember the Yeti?
@@ablacknambercat Yeti looks more like a Jeep.
However not as faulty 😆😆
Well done Bob, it's the first time I've seen a video on the 7S.
Be interesting to see how the doors open in a normal car parking space the way people park
That was my first thought when I saw them open up 🤦🏼
Thanks Bob. That was brilliant. Let’s hope it makes it. Looks great.
Great video Bob...what a stunning looking vehicle 👍
I have an octavia. The windows open on their own. The coolant warning comes on for no reason and the boot button only works half the time. I can see it now service stations backed up with cars that can't leave because the dash didn't come back out after charging
Wouldn't exactly call it a thing of beauty but at least it's functional.
Let's hope the 7S keeps its concept car looks and given its minimalist interior that it's priced accordingly - after all it is a Skoda !!
Great to see. Thanks. Bring it on, I'll start saving up now.
I would like to see a version with 3 equal seats on the passenger row.
Wow. Such a great car
Love it's design
Looking forward too it😀
Only 25% of the features will make production, certainly not the rotating/moving screen, which is a recipe for frequent trips to the service.
Them doors won’t be any good when the rain is Pishing down on top of ya !
You're like a big child on xmas morning, the grin on your face says it all.
It was such a rush getting to an from the event in one day and the car was great
nice video!
Looks Fantastic.
Good stuff, We saw it here first. Leaves the Enyaq styling for dead IMHO. Clever out of the box thinking. Good to see physical steering wheel controls and a binnacle. Good stuff Mr Flavin.
Very cool!!
That’s really nice. I nearly cancelled my Karoq order until you said it was a concept 😃
Fantastic bob 👏👏😎
Thanks Neil!
It’s amazing
Interesting design, hope that sunburn wasn't too painfull.
Great interior, remindes me of the Renault vel status from years ago.
It is looking beautiful. I will buy it once it’s on sale and if it looks exactly the same ❤
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need a Kamiq sized one as well!!!!
@Bob Flavin it's "Škoda" and the letter "Š" its pronounced as in English "Sh". So at the beginning the second pronaunciation you made was right. Thank you.
Looks awesome. Skoda is one of the brands that interests me most nowadays. I hope they don't forget about utilitarian minded people in the future. I would prefer cargo space and terrain capability over luxury any day.
That is a fantastic looking car. Can the rear doors open without opening front ones? Dyson fans, brilliant interior.
i dont thing so, but its the same like any other car with suicide doors
Those doors will be very handy in a car park.🤣 Of course almost none of that will make it to production.
Make it as practical as Ford Galaxy but with sliding doors. 7 proper seats, 6 isofix, childseat friendly tilt for 2nd row - again like in Galaxy and I will be buying it in 2026!!
Good advice
Cool video Bob. Is Skoda sneaking towards a 80 grand EV Struggling to recalibrate to the new prices of everything
I want one !!!!!
Be interesting to see this compared against the respective production EV9.
clean lines a beautiful and well-made machine
I hope the price is not high to compete with the new chinese electrical brands that are coming to europe and the rest of the world
❤❤❤
That back end clearly takes cues from the new Range Rover and I don't hate it 😅
This looks like a third-generation electric car. The next ten years are going to be very interesting.
I think it looks awesome... Way better than the tired boring crap on the roads...
Might be only a slight design change coming but that vehicle will never have 7 seats with the child seat mounted the way it was and the huge central hump. Suicide doors don’t ever make it to production either so the whole car is just one big lie.
Ok, although I appreciate your enthusiasm for the car and all its tech, having had a car with suicide doors, I can tell you they are a PITA in the real world, with small parking spaces (cars are getting much bigger, but the parking spaces aren’t). Also, fast charging times are irrelevant as there will be very few super fast chargers available due to the infrastructure and how many vehicles are charging at the same time. Ofcourse the plan is to restrict personal vehicle use in the near future, so most of us will be relying on public transport or bicycles to get around.
Great looking car, but I feel it's trouble just waiting to happen, by that I mean all those electrical gadgets motors etc to go wrong, just hope your pockets are deep when buying a five year old version in the future !
I want the teddy bear in the child seat
The rotating screen and vent going up and down is gimmicky. It does not look tall which give a slick design. Over all it’s a nice clean design
Wow looks nice. That interior is unlikely but I can see something close to the exterior. Feels like a play for JLRs customers.
This will never come out like that! tis very cool though.
one of the betest car with coolest deutures
that's not a bird, that's a winged arrow.
This is the brand to watch........they are putting some others to shame....
All the fancy gear but no infrastructure
I wonder, without a B pillar between the doors, how safe this would be in a side collision.
Looks like an alternate universe Range Rover
Looks great, but I hope they lose the 7 slots (a la Jeep stylee) at the front for production.
which country that make Skoda?.
Czech republic in the city of Mladá Boleslav
Let’s hope the price tags doesn’t get stupid!
It's an amazing looking car no doubt; the problem with Skoda is the quality. I have a 2021 Octavia, latest model which has had issues with the infotainment software since day 1. I've taken it to Skoda several times, lots of promises but never a fix. Still have the same issue. Car in the video has a lot of electronics and based on my experience I wouldn't buy nor I would recommend anyone to buy a Skoda.
Its not Skoda with the infotainment , its a VW issue...hopefully soon changed
Don’t buy German cars. Japanese and Korean cars are much better.
@@alanedon7241 Been over an year and still no fix; bit poor. For that I'd never buy Skoda, VW, Seat or Audi.
Skoda have come a long from the rear engined skoda estelle.my friend still drive one.
🇨🇿 ŠKODA💪
Is there a VW version of this?
Loving my Enyaq IV80x previously had a Kodiak. Skoda really have good design these days. Last Saturday I drove 800km in my Enyaq with ease.
If only it was without extra charging. Would buy it today
Wow car sir skoda don't go too far wrong in fairness
I'm disappointed. I was hoping to see you flying this thing above town
What are VW playing at lol ok the ID BUZZ looks great but the ID3 , 4 & 5 look so boring compared to this it seems that Cupra & Skoda get the cool designs this looks amazing let’s hope they stick with the doors and don’t lose their nerve like the EV9
is skoda going to be there in 2035
How many parking spaces have room for those doors??!!
Fail to see how bigger and bigger vehicles save the planet and it’s resources.
Similar to the upcoming polestar 3.
The doors a comical, can just see these is a supermarket car park
The world needs MPVs not SUVs. Bring back the MPVs please
Wow nice car. Never liked the Skoda badge .
Keep must be upset for that lower grill cooling
Pleased we're finally doing something creative with lights that LEDs allow us to do.
Nice Austin Allegro Steering wheel! They're not laughing now!
Elements of the original Renault Espace too.
Trouble with technology. Nothing's ever new?
Dyson? Good god. Not his unreliable tat! No thanks then.
So 65k to 80k then. I can remember when Skoda made good honest simple cars. It's wonderful but it won't sell in numbers.
The market doesn’t want the same old cars from the early 00’s they want this kind of car. The future is mobility, not driving!
It’s going to be a weird decade 😂
There is a place for every kind of vehicle I hope! Would be nice to see mobility options that don't cost a small mortgage. Trying to imagine the whole family watching tv in a car?!? And trying to agree on one thing!!
It looks like a Range Rover.
This will never go to production...
Buying a new EV today will leave you with an incredibly dated vehicle in 3-4 years. I bought a 4 year old LEAF because I can see the speed that EVs are improving. The LEAF will always make a decent shopping/town car, but long-range cars today (280 miles) will be way behind long-range cars of the future.
beurk!
Do you want to pay £70k for an electric Skoda though or £80k for a Range Rover?
Range rovers in 2026 will probably be £200k
It looks a lot like Kia's style.
Yes buts that's not a car. Car has an engine, this is vacuum cleaner
Loved it until you said Dyson
Yeah, right....it will never happen, merely a fanciful pipe dream.
If it miraculously does manifest itself it will be yet another car that is unaffordable by 99% of car buyers.
I can’t stand the fact that VAG North America have said Skoda will never come here. Small minded gits😮
Just more shit to go wrong
Skoda ???
It is a car designed at volkswagen factory.
Skoda is not an individual car company anymore. VW bought the name, and using it for only for covering an other segment of the market
Skoda still is designed by Skoda from Czechia like Porsche is designed by Porsche people
You really don't know, what are you talking about. Škoda is designed by Škoda in the city of Mladá Boleslav, Czech republic.
Range rover rip off exterior. Overall very good, but so much fancy tech that will go wrong
The expensive face of Skoda!
Is it possible to watch a car review without hearing the term ‘design language’
Skoda has supper bad track record from concept to real car. The Vision concepts were cool, the Enyaq (yes I have driven it) is ugly and the performance, efficiancy are bad, no real recoup (the joke it has is not useful) braking and the price for all that is just silly. So don't get your hopes up.
Shame it is electric only
Don't like it at all, It's like a moon buggy, if it came in Diesel I might have some interest........
Very nice but….
With the sanctions against Russia, the UK and EU economies are now in recession (irrespective of government misinformation). It will only get worse over the next few years as there is not sufficient global energy resources for recovery, with companies closing, millions unemployed, and food insecurity.
In some parts of the EU, electricity costs have risen to the point where it’s no longer cost effective to charge an EV and recently in California, the governor asked EV owners to lower their charging times to save energy.
Deindustrialization has already hit these markets with companies downsizing, bankruptcies increasing, companies closing and laying off thousands of workers and financial markets destabilizing.
And now we see regime change and political and social instability across the EU and UK!
Consumers NO LONGR have the “buying power” to purchase “expensive of anything”. Families resources are now met for survival.
Many companies are moving operations to China in a last ditch effort to save them, or expanding existing operations.
BMW is moving its's Mini Cooper EV manufacturing from the UK to China. VW announced a huge partnership with a Chinese company on auto autonomous vehicle design with integration of artificial intelligence and big data.
For manufactures outside of China, parts and raw materials are more difficult to obtain. Supply chains are breaking down and costs are rising in all related manufacturing segments.
In this climate, it’s unlikely Škoda will be able to meet its production goals. Instead having to “hunker down” just trying to survive, or test the Chinese market with the worlds largest middle class. We are likely to see them downsize and lay off workers.
The Chinese EV market is the largest and most innovative in the world, lead in a number of technological areas, particularly battery design with most EV manufactures using Chinese producted battery packs.
I absolutely hate this concepts shape it looks like a poor man’s Land Rover , if this is he future skoda will loose countless owners even now I love the kodiak shape but this is so far off the mark for owners they will go elsewhere, there isn’t any simply clever or pratical loading needs I’m sure the child will love the 2 by 4 load through or flying ski , and the fact that that has been missed is exactly why german oversight has gone too far
Looks about right can’t even fit in a parking bay …
Enough with the SUVs already! Please! Stop it.
You wont be getting this. You can get the bus or use a bicycle. Welcome to the future.
Lol…EV CRAP… when do you use the horizontal screen? When charging 😂😂😂😂😂
I'll say the truth: "It's ugly"
The set of useless features to attract young customers. Nothing left for those who want a car to be a car and not the tablet.
