I hired a Renault Kadjar on holidays in Italy and got a Renault Austral-e, the Kadjar replacement the guy said. I was very impressed with the hybrid performance. Easy on consumption around town but could comfortably do 120+ on motorway when required. Nice place to be inside aswel. Will Renault be launching these in Ireland?

@@BobFlavinVideoThe boot is the only real let down for me. I can fit 2 large and 2 small cases in my 2010 insignia, I know I'm not comparing apples with apples but I couldn't fit the 2 large in the Austral, 1 large case and 2 small, meaning 1 large case had to travel in the back seat. The level loading is good but boot loses the depth. The other thing, and it probably is totally irrelevant, but closing the boot doesn't offer the reassuring thud of older cars. Again, I've no reference point of comparison, everything I liked, except the boot. Acres of space in the front and rear cabin though.
Ireland gave you the best weather, just think how green your grass will be with all that nice water. It must all the global warming. Great video Bob. Like what Renault are doing.

speaking of large SUVs, that new Kia EV9 is a monstrosity that we will be seeing on our roads a lot I would say.
Though irrelevant for my needs that Scenic looks pretty good.
You’re spot on about the large SUV thing. There are 3 Kia EV9’s in my neighbourhood and they look absolutely ridiculous and, to be honest, pretty ugly too. Ungainly and cumbersome to look at.
In fairness though 2 people have said, independently of each other, the EV9 would make a really stylish van; described by one as ‘an awesome way to rock up and deliver bread.’ And they’re right. Get rid of the windows and it would be the business. It’s like the Citroën Berlingo conversions….in reverse.😂

Expensive evs that nobody wants we need cars to be more like the new suzuki swift light no nonsense and reasonably priced
Plenty of people want EVs, the Suzuki Swift is an outdated car with poor safety ratings
@ThePetrolhead94 it's safer than a ev and will be driving around 10 years after your eV is scrap now that's a green car
