My benefits state that we get paid 60% of our base weekly salary for STD, but they place a cap on the amount you can be paid weekly which amounts to about 27% of your weekly base salary not 60%. Can they do this? Can they tell you that you get paid 60% and then really only pay you 27% of the weekly salary?

what plan are you referring to? like my insurance plan?
So if I have knee replacement surgery then I'll have to be off 120 days or more depending on my plan
