I am not sure what do do here. I have been off work 4 months now. Claim status 5/16 " To when eligible" . I worked until 1/13/23 I ha vacation hours that needed to be used, last day I was paid 3/5/23. At that point I resigned from my job. Started and competed on line course. 4/29/23 became self employed, on May 6 fell unable to work. Filed for SDI and as of yet no payments. What should I do.
I had my EDD disability with my PCP for other medical problem, he put returned back to work day 06/22/24.Then on 06/21/24 I had surgery with other doctor and she put me on different disability from that day, so days of disabilities were overlapped. Do I continue my disability on old claim, since I never returned back to work yet, or I need to start a new claim with other doctor? It's very confusing.
So I have a workers comp claim active and I was receiving temporary disability benefits through workers comp that recently ended they told me to apply for state disability so I did and it says that insufficient earnings were made within a 12-month how does this work
I need help :( I’ve been filing and turned in all my doctor approve office in Santa Ana and the lady who helped me said she had everything she needed for me. It’s been since this February.. I know it’s not that long but rent landlord doesn’t care about that…. It’s hard for me to go back to the in person office. But I guess I will have to right? I seen reviews people losing their applications at this office. Is there a line I can talk to or contact that office?
Once my SDI begins the processing is that the same minute the 14 day grace period begins for me? In particular if my process started pending over the weekend?
How often are we paid? Weekly? Bi-weekly? Can my doctor fill out the continued benefits early? I was expected to be recovered by a certain date but I need an additional week.
I recently applied for disability. My medical provider provided me a disability packet for me to fill out & once I finished, they submitted it for me. Once I got the letter to determine how much I was gonna get, it was $0 which was odd to me. I noticed there was a different account number on the letter than the one I had already. I called them (EDD) up & apparently their system misread my social security & now there’s two profiles under my name with same address but with different ssn #’s. They told me I had to do a bunch of bs in order to confirm it’s me. I decided to just submit a new application but this time online with my actual edd account I made online. Im hoping everything turns out okay because I was recovering for a month & that’s two paychecks right there
Edd and the disability department are basically run by chimpanzees. The Hoops they make a surgeon jump through just to verify a patient's eligibility are ridiculous. I've been waiting a month after my submission of my form 4 eBenefits or even to get a claim number. I have a form submission number and that's the extent of it and there's no way to contact these people by phone it's ridiculous
@@michaelmorrison7632 yeah after everything I didn’t receive shit. I was 2 paychecks short. Luckily the surgery was a success but I was out of pay for a month. They kept saying I wasn’t eligible because I didn’t have a lot of work history. Only because the time periods they wanted were the dates I was layed off because of COVID
Thank you. Your video was helpful. I couldn't get through the toll free number to ask questions.
Where’s the other video for the steps on filing disability

What if you used up 52 week and you still disable can you extend the Edd disabled payment, because on the email it say you maximize your payment?
How do you report to edd that you’ve returned to work? And what if you report it late what will happen?
I didn't check my inbox and my benefit payments were canceled or stopped.

How many payments are issued a month . Is It three check payments a month ?
How to I stop receiving SDI benefits once I’m ready to back to work?

Can I reopen a claim from 2 years ago if I only used it for 1 month?
Doesn’t work like that you would have to have a new claim disability has to be approved by a doctor
Hi
What do you do if you haven't recovered from an illness and 52 week period is coming up?
I have the same question do you have the answer
What happened after year is up
If I quit my job a week before my doctor puts me on SDI can I still get maternity SDI? Or do I have to be actively employed?
Dont quit your job. Let them fire u. My pregnant cousin quit and didnt get anything.
Yes you can still receive disability, as long as you have worked part of your pregnancy
Can I file taxes after receiving SDI beniifits?????

Can my doctor fill out the continued benefits early? I was expected to be recovered by a certain date but I need an additional week.
Oh it’s biweekly, but I’m not exactly sure the exact date of payment, but they do go in two week intervals
Do you have paying jobs or fullz
