- Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 1 is the first part of a trilogy of movies that will be capping off the Tomorrowverse in 2024. Seeing as the story brings the entire DC Multiverse together, it was expected that many characters will be appearing and as it turns out, part 1 features over 100 characters and In this video I’ll be going over every character who appeared in Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part 1 before going over every character who was missing.

The heroine you didn't know is Celsius, a chic, blue eyed dark skinned immortal gifted Mrs Arani Desai Caulder - ex wife of Dr Niles Caulder - she's in the 80s Crisis comic ferociously taking down 2 super villains with her fire / Ice powers - impressing Cyborg who wants her to join Titans. Former leader of the 1970s 80s Doom Patrol she is DC 1st Indian hero. So great to see her.

It was so cool to see Huntress and the other Earth 2 legacy characters like Jade and Obsidian.
As others have pointed out, the woman at 23:58 is Celsius from the Doom Patrol; her name is Arani Caulder, and she professed to be the wife of Dr. Niles Caulder ("The Chief") who later dismissed her claim as a lie.
Chief later admitted that her claims were true
He retracted his lie. She blew his legs off in revenge with her ice powers as a Black Lantern. Truly iconic😅
She is alos seen with Dr. Midnight at 16:48
Hal Jordan being The Specter would be an interesting twist for sure, given how this movie universe operates

Yeah, he and Nighthawk both had brief "speaking" roles in the early issues of the comics, alongside most of DC's other Frontier and Western heroes
The character that Earth-2 Superman is talking to with the blue head and white collar at 19:30 is Obsidian-Todd Rice who we saw, and you listed, previously.
God, I loved Crisis 1. Hopefully 2 and 3 are good too.
I wonder if they'll have Alexander Luthor (Lois & Lex's son) and Earth-Prime Superboy in either parts 2 & 3.

I can’t believe they put a Black Hawk in the movie. I found some of my uncle’s Black Hawk comics in my grandparents house and love them.
The woman you can't identify is Celsius, leader of the second Doom Patrol of which Negative Woman is a member, and wife of Dr. Niles Calderon, the Chief.
I believe Blue Beetle and The Question are both from the Blue Beetle short that was released with House of Mystery. Same voice actors
Captain Atom and Nightshade look different in that short, like they have different color skin. It's possible it's the same characters but until Nightshade and Captain Atom also speak with the same voices, it's unconfirmed.

The Watsonian explanation is that it's a planet full of lying bastards so you can never know what the truth of anything is. The Doylist explanation is that they exist to be an evil reflection of the JLA, so they constantly change to reflect the current lineup, legacyholders and themes being explored by the creators of the current run of the book they appear in.
Blue Beetle, Nightshade, Question and Captain Atom seem to be the same version from DC Showcase Blue Beetle

The Earth 3 Superwoman was created as an analogue for Wonder Woman- she wasn’t called “Lois” till years after the crisis- and that’s possibly some sick manipulation by ultra man, to force her to be a replacement for Lois Lane of Earth 3, who I’m guessing he killed
And Power Ring was the name of the Earth 3 Green Lantern analogue at the time of the crisis- again, it wasn’t changed till years later- so that’s his actual hero identity

@@Flyboy1953 however, was Superwomanever identified as Lois Lane pre-crisis? Or was that something Grant Morrison added on the post crisis “Crisis On 2 Earths?” graphic novel? I’m guessing, not, but I sure haven’t read every pre-crisis appearance of Earth 3 characters.
I had a collection of all the silver age JLA/JSA crossovers, (which introduced Earth 3)- but I can’t find it having just moved

Otherwise, I thought Psycho Pirate was the only one who remembers the entire pre c multiverse even existed- not even Power Girl , till years after

Very thorough video and also nice presentation. About the movie, at least for the part 1, I don't think it has reached it's potential, as Crisis on Infinite Earths is huge event, but I'll wait to watch parts 2 and 3. But overall the Tomorrowverse is not that great, as storytelling, DCAMU felt more smooth and connected and also had a good closure. Maybe this one is rushed due to Gunn's rebooting, but if that's the case, they should keep the CoIE story for the future, when they'd have enough time and movies to build to it
Actually the design thing is a middle ground legally.
Fan art is considered derivative under copyright law and therefore protected, at least, from being profited on by DC in a major capacity.
Cameos don't count towards this, but credit is still recommended in some countries while others require permission for the cameo.
Last video about this Crisis kept on calling The Question the Phantom Stranger.

In the same frame of the blink-and-you-miss-it Guy Guy Gardner cameo (1:06:19 in the movie), there is someone else on the opposite side of the screen who doesn't appear for anywhere else in the film. He has blonde hair, green skin, purple shirt and gloves, gray straps on his chest, and magenta pants and boots. Basically, he looks like Brainiac-5. However, the Brainiac-5 we saw in Legion of Super-Heroes does not have that design (nor the hair) and, as we know from the events of the film, it cannot be that Brainiac-5. If it is not an alternate Brainiac-5, I have no idea who it can be. But if it is a Brainiac-5, then that scene where Dawnstar tries to bring her Brainiac-5 would be seemingly pointless. (I also noticed that, with the exception of Superman, only one version of each character was actually brought on board the Monitor's ship. [Jay Garrick isn't the same as Barry Allen]). Anyway, hope y'all have a great day (or night).

Oh the black lightning problem is bigger than you think it is. Cuz DC does it officially have any real ownership of black lightning so they are constantly borrowing black lightning as a character That's why you don't see a lot of black lightning, anything or a lot of static anything because static is way too similar to black lightning and it may insight a lawsuit.

Tom Hawk is from Earth-Two.
Actually, he started out in the Golden Age and lasted way into the Silver Age. So like Aquaman, who DC finally admitted had existed on Earth Two, there were probably two of him.
No Wally West, but Wallace.. 😒 again with Dc trying to have their own miles morales with him but isn’t a popular character. I doubt the other parts will have an appearance from Wally West’s Flash.
I honestly never cared when it’s a story where Barry is the main Flash. If you put Wally in such a story it’s almost certain He’ll take over at some point where as with Wallace you pretty much know he’s gonna stay Kid Flash.
In one of the animated movies featuring Earth-3, Superwoman was supposedly Mary Bromfield oddly.
Maybe the older Black Canary is Dinah Drake and not Dinah Lance?

It drives me nuts that you still aren’t aware of the DC Showcase: Blue Beetle short from which voice actors Matt Lanter and David Kaye and a number of the Earth-4 characters returned

Actually Amazo's design in the Tomorrowverse resembles the Arrowverse deisgn much more than the DCAU
Watching Amazo use his hands to drain Gokus power seems oddly familiar.
It be cool if the Dick and Wally plots lead to a New Teen Titans cameo in the futute movies even if they are versions different from Earth One. It not only be a cool cameo but it be odd if they did a Crisis on Infinite Earths movie that supposedly borrows so much from the original comic without at least a NTT cameo at least for Wolfman and Perez's sakes.

The original Huntress was the daughter of Earth 2 Batman and Selina Kyle. The earth 1 version was reintroduced as a new character after the Crisis.

Here I thought the Tomorrow-verse was separate from the earlier movie universe(s). Interesting video, as more of my character knowledge comes from animation as opposed to comics. I have a decent comic collection though.

In the original book, only Geo Force from the Outsiders was present while Katana, Metamorph and Black Lightning were not.But since the original Outsiders and Infinity Inc have been eliminated from DC history, I imagine the DCAU doesn't bother with those stories. Same could be said about the original Titains.

DC has Davey Crockett-ish character named Tomahawk. Unless you are working from a script source, it is most likely Tomahawk than Crockett
