Take notes boys... You'll notice that Ashley said "You say that every time" when our boy here complimented the dinner she made for him. Be like Drib, chain your tricks and don't take your partner for granted.
Ssup Drib. I've flown there but it (ehem) didn't look as nice as your line. I appreciate your recent discussions on durability. I went through a season of having all sorts of equipment failures and a string of DoA parts. It was so frustrating because I don't have a big budget and it grounded me over and over. I learned a lot though. One thing I would mention to your viewers is cable management. Twisting up cable bundles not only looks better but also makes them less prone to getting bumped around and weakening solder joints. I lost a couple FCs and ESCs from something that came loose and shorted something else. Ciotti told me he smoked too many things from not twisting them up too. Keep an eye on parts around your battery connector - every time you plug and unplug a battery you can be moving other schtuff. Zip tying it tightly to the frame helps. Just the other day my quad fell from the sky with an RXLOSS message - the capacitor on the battery terminals had come loose - a charged cap's positive end is something you definitely don't want swimming around near your FC. Thankfully no parts were injured.
I really like your style of flying. It’s a mix of “cinematic” smoothness, even in quick spins and turn arounds, and yet quick enough for crazy tricks and freestyle in general. Love the colour grading too! Well done 👏👏
Way to go Shawn! The lyricist and the pilot👊👊😎 while drib dribbles over his words🤣🤣🤣 yall spend too much time together finishing eachothers thoughts👏👏👏👏loved the visit with you guys
Hey Drew, thank you for the video - and above all - thank you for sharing your music in the description! Your music selection is fantastic as always! Keep on ripping !!!
Yes! Even if it's from Epidemic, please, name that tune! This comment gave me the heads up. Usually I Sherlock out a tune, and that has it's own kind of satisfaction...but really, I just would like to hear it/own it asap. Good shout :)
Seeing you fly around inspired a little flame in me to get back into FPV I know it’s only been a few months, thanks for the video I might have to invest in FPV again.
Really missed this! Your fpvvlogs are always the best! This one got everything in it, the talking, the flying, some sort of tutorial of that trick and even ashley is in the video what do you want more. I know what i want more and thats more of this videos!!!
I’ve been rocking your skyline HD frame for the last 2 months. I love it. It’s super durable. I’ve recommended it to my friend and he is now building one too. Love your flow and videos. Thank you for engineering a great frame.
Good video! I enjoyed watching the challenge of learning the new trick then getting it! Good story. Sometimes this is more interring than just watching a polished flight video.
Thanks for the great overall video! Your flying style is my absolute favorite. Steele is an amazing pilot, also, but I prefer your flow and lines with integrated tricks. Not to mention, your vlogs are always top-notch with cool elements. Also, love the car videos, too!
Siiick dude. You guys have such great spots in Fla. Theres just so much going on at that location the possibilities are endless. I enjoyed as always. Great ripping bud!!
He's using either Reelsteady or built-in GoPro Hypersmooth stabilization. I have been always wandering how the footage looks so unrealistically smooth. Here is the evidence: look at 5:59. After the flip-over, right after when the drone lands back in upright position notice how the video kinda "drifts" a bit to the left (watch the edges of the frame). That's an effect of stabilization which happens after big moves where software tries to smooth out that big spike in camera orientation. You can easily reproduce this effect yourself with a GoPro 7 or 8 (I don't have an 8 but believe it's the same) or Reelsteady.
@@asdf52708 It looks amazing and I genuinely like it. But I think he kinda does pretend in a way that he is not publicly admitting that he uses stabilization in his freestyle videos. It looks more like "perfect tune" or just perfect flying without any corrections. You know, JohnnyFPV even made a video about him using reelsteady
Honestly, it was really cool to see that some times there is a struggle. I get that you cut down and edit, but that combined with the lines you choose and how you fly make it almost feel effortless. Keep it up man, inspiring.
This guy is so smooth no one should be able to fly that smooth and flipping through those tight trees I’m not a pilot but damn I’m impressed I love watching him fly this dude is a machine
It's nice to see you releasing footage of working towards a goal. Of course you do a stupid crash into a tree branch after hitting the hard trick, just like the rest of us. In your case, the 'hard trick' might be a bit harder than what we're doing, but it's the same idea. Great stuff.
You guys are lucky! You can just keep on flying and doesn't matter if you get a damaged part. Rotor Riot will always supply for parts. It's hard for us since it's a bit expensive. However, we're trying our best. 😊
@@CaseyGray58 I think that 4s batteries can be superior in certain situations. If you fly in spaces where your throttle has to be really accurate, then the extra punch of 6s can be a downside. In general I would definitely agree with you though. 6s offers an overall better experience.
please more of these. dont get me wrong, i love your flightfootage, but i like to see all the stuff around also. often im watching and thinking - dang how...
Nice to see you vlogging again as far as fpv is concerned. I like this one in particular because you show the highs and lows of fpv. I crash alot in acro but I'm getting there thanks drib hows Orlando by the way hope you are enjoying the heat🤙💪♥️
I must inform you that you need to hack that human cooler with an xt60 hanging out of it. You’ll be so glad you did. Also I’m thinking you’ve become one of the top 3 fs pilots known to mankind at this time.
Hi im new to fpv seen it for the first time a few weeks ago at a drift show. I was watching a guy film the cars with his fpv drone started looking it up when i got home. Ive flown a few drones line of sight before but i want to try fpv. For my first lot of gear do you think a tinyhawk 2 freestyle, taranis x9 lite and eachine ev800d would be a good start or should i go with some fat shark attitude v5.
dood, love your attitude and editing and personality and your flight style is incredible. Had to grudgingly click through to this tho to get past the clickbait thumbnail.
@le drib Hey Drew, just had an issue with my quad fail safing from not all that far away while using a Dx8 have you ever had similar problems with Spektrum before? I was doing a split s over a concrete overpass and lost signal on the far side. Thanks!
Take notes boys... You'll notice that Ashley said "You say that every time" when our boy here complimented the dinner she made for him. Be like Drib, chain your tricks and don't take your partner for granted.
That is why, I always cook. Every single day. But I still like it when she compliments my food
Haha, my ex used to say the same thing. Like, I'm not just talking out of my ass lady!
Yup. I just said thank you for my sandwich she made
ahhhh, back to the good old vlogs with a solder montage at the beginning. This is just what I needed at a time like now. thanks Drib keep it up!👍🔥💥😁
Just rewatched some old Drib videos ~2016. It's unbelievable how much you've improved since then!
Man I didn't realize how much I missed these vlogs. Thanks for sharing and keep them coming, the distraction is much needed.

me too dude! just got my quad and TX/RX all updated and I'm starting from scratch on PIDs and rates!

It looks like hypersmooth.
who cares, it looks awesome. it's not like he's pretending he flies perfectly buttery flights every time.

Very flowy scenes you got there! You are the master of smoothness! These shots at the beginning are amazing too!

Your style is so floaty my dude I love it.
Awesome VLOG as always. Love those smooth flows with good edits and b-roll clips. Great job!
Love this style of vlog from you. Fun session. Seeing you work on your lines and tricks. You talking to us. 👍💖🤓
That was my favorite video of yours! The flying was on point man!
Thanks for being real with us. Even the best pilots crash but they don’t always want everyone to know that they do.
your one of the few fpv dudes who plays all my jams in your vids, good shiet!
It's nice to see you releasing footage of working towards a goal. Of course you do a stupid crash into a tree branch after hitting the hard trick, just like the rest of us. In your case, the 'hard trick' might be a bit harder than what we're doing, but it's the same idea. Great stuff.
lovely flows, both flying and mind.
So happy to see a FPV Vlog again! Loved to watch it ;)
I like more through the trees.... And your video edits are amazing. From the crash to recovery.. woww... Awesome transformation......

I missed that. Finally freestyle of Drew. Great to see you flying. Keep rocking! Cheers m8! And as always - we want more! :)
i love the smooth flying and tricks u do. nice music, nice vibe. not agressesive and a headach watching it like some pilots....
Shawn is a great guest, smooth flying Drew
Gets me everytime you say Persevere at the end
missed you bro, thank you for existing, you are a wonderful human.
It was a "walk of shame" before. now it's "one wheel of shame"? Whatever, such a smooth flow! crazy!
I love how le drib runs the DJI FPV system, individual EScs, 4s batteries, spectrum, and crossfire at the same time😂
whats wrong with 4s batteries?
Jelli FPV they are not superior like they’re 6s counterraces
@@CaseyGray58 superior price too. 😉

Jelli FPV battery sag, less power, less response. But 4s batteries are totally fine but 6s is objectively better
Killed the flowers 😅 close calls. Tricky spot. Sick flying. Great vlog 👍👍
The dalrc 40amp engine 4in1 and the Heli Nation giggawatt are my fave esc's as of now 😊👍
please more of these. dont get me wrong, i love your flightfootage, but i like to see all the stuff around also. often im watching and thinking - dang how...
“Just wanna do a line....and that’s when I’ll feel rlly phsyched” - drib
2:23 these transitions are on point
Im really enjoyed Ur vid. Nice to see that cool old - not overhyped Drew ! Thank You .
That trick definitely looked awesome. I tried twice and it just wasn’t in the cards that day, lol 😂 gotta keep practicing.
Let's get together and ride OneWheels. We have some amazing trails In Palm Coast that lead to Amazing flying spots.
Before you mentioned it, I was thinking about your taco dinners. I hope you can enjoy a taco dinner with your friends again soon. Happy flying Drew.
You’re style is so smooth and very hard to replicate, but I determined to get a water like flow style like that. ❤️
The crashing to being picked up transistions are kinda cool. smooth flying bro.
absolutely amazing skills , your flying is from another dimension :)
It’s done right when a LeDrib FPV Vengence Storm comes to town!
Nice work, Drib! Video suggestion: how you make your video edit decisions, e.g., transitions, cut points, music, etc, etc.
The shirt fan is legit, I sweat soooo much less!
Nice to see you vlogging again as far as fpv is concerned. I like this one in particular because you show the highs and lows of fpv. I crash alot in acro but I'm getting there thanks drib hows Orlando by the way hope you are enjoying the heat🤙💪♥️
love you drib
I missed your "usual" VLog, Drew!!! And happy to see Ashley again ;-)
This looks so fun!
I hope one day i can try it.
Excellent video, as real as it gets. Love using your motors too btw, any thoughts on revised models in the foreseeable future?
Hahaha, shirt fan! That's something I'll never need in Ireland. For that one sunny day we might get once a decade we have this thing called shade.
Progress smells like lipo fires... I enjoy people unafraid to fail forward. Good work man.
Great blog Drew, really enjoyed the video!👍❤️👌😎
Bruh, that fan is killer, bought 2, used ur link, thank Shawn, buy him beers
Crash and burn FPV is the best one to look at, and Drib is good at it.
The flow is unreal
Heyyyyyyy dope vlog, always w the tasty B roll that makes you DRIBble.
Nice vibes, solid flow man.
U have inspired me soo much. I have built my first quad because of u and dream of being as good and popular as u r. 👍👍
Some incredible flying there..
Great edit! I liked watching the process👍👍👊
Great freestyle video. quick question I will luv to know what ND filter are you using and what is your camera angle on the quad
Nice video!!! you still using Spectrum? Whats receiver you recommend for FPV drones, i use DX9 Radio. Thanks for your recommendation.
Great Vlog! Thanks!
That intro is pure love
Good work on practicing the new trick! 🤙🏼 Keep up practicing! 🙌🏼 What's your best rates??
Awesome vid Drew. Love seeing the process and dedication to nailing it 🤘🤘
"At some point I wanna be in the zone, doin a line." Lol this context standing alone could mean something drastically different.
10:51
Impressive flow ~ i love you Le drib!!
I must inform you that you need to hack that human cooler with an xt60 hanging out of it. You’ll be so glad you did. Also I’m thinking you’ve become one of the top 3 fs pilots known to mankind at this time.
That's was the sigh of I told you I didn't want to be in the video lol. I can't wait to come visit family and rip those amazing spots!
Where can I download a Skyeliner HD GoPro 7 mount to print... I have that skull one from thingverse, but it's a monster...

What budget motor would you reccomend, you have your own motors, but they're not exactly budget. What about for the rest of us?
LOVING THE NEW HAIR, AND THE MONTAGE
Nice vlog. What's your all-up weight?
Great video! I like the longer format
Welcome back to Team Spektrum! ;)
This is just the best. LeDribtastic!
Great video Man!!
So smooth 👍🔥! Did you use Hypersmooth here? I think you said once that you like to show the moves without stabilization.
Word on the Street is you are working on a Skyliner HD v2 that is specially made for 6s???
Cool flying drib but I almost hurled watching you repair that drone in the intro lol.
That loop under the truck branch you are a crazy man hahaha wow
dood, love your attitude and editing and personality and your flight style is incredible. Had to grudgingly click through to this tho to get past the clickbait thumbnail.
Heyyy Drib nice stuff.
Are you using Hypersmooth or read steady...or none?
the best keep getting better. Give us a chance to catch up.
Honestly when it shifted from gopro to dji dvr footage there was hardly any difference , got to say dji has done pretty good job
What pdb works with those f35a esc’s?
"he had to dip so we can rip" legendary
@le drib Hey Drew, just had an issue with my quad fail safing from not all that far away while using a Dx8 have you ever had similar problems with Spektrum before? I was doing a split s over a concrete overpass and lost signal on the far side. Thanks!
Drid mate sick vid as usual. Hey what props you useing in this video, im all about durability the amount i crash lol 😃👊
can you just hook that t-shirt fan to smartaudio and change speed via osd?
