For anyone curious about levels: the earliest this could be built is level 60 with the exact parts in this video with the highest level part being the Warden SG400 Shield Generator at level 60. Subtracting that the level is 57 being the engine and subtracting that the level is 52 being the Grav Drive. The earliest this could be built using the mid tier parts is level 46 with the highest level part being the Supernova 2100 Engine at level 46. Finally, the earliest this could be built using the LOW and MID tier parts is level 38 with the parts being Apollo GV100 Grav Drive and Fusor DC402 Reactor both unlocking at level 38. This is of course using the parts from the video just the lower tier versions. Hope this helps someone out there
Supernova engines are honestly the wrong choice for this ship. You can't place two of them one above the other, which prevents you from doing the four engines it's supposed to have. Go with the class C Slayton engines instead.
I'd guestimate it at roughly 800k to- 1200k - engines, grav and generator alone are an easy half million. Cheapest way to get to it is probably capturing some c class in the wild and then upgrading your way to this. Not much cheaper but this time you won't spend much on parts you're guig to replace anyway.
@@TheBouregard should be less than that, I only had like 600k or so when I started the project and never ran out but I think at one of my trips to stroud I hit up the 160k wall bug so that may play into that. I would say 800k is the high end, but like you said depends on the starting ship, I used a class A I stole so I did have to buy all the big things. Also your weapon loadout will play a huge part, I did mine different than his
Your best bet is to do the r&d mission for stroud and get the r type ship, you get the 3 engines, 3 of the fuel tanks, and one of the large reactors and grav drives, gotta make sure they spare no expense in their budget

I just managed to build the ship I do not have the highest design yet but I made it work and I can say this ship hits hard im in level 70 areas and im mopping the floor with ships as I find them
This construction is very cool. Gray and black colors with white fragments look amazing. Guys, build this battlecruiser on the Mantis. The NPC will be afraid of your ship and you will have additional funny dialogues.
Great build! Looks exactly like it has in Starcraft 1 & 2. Would be really nice to have the parts list and location/requirements to build this ship. 😊👍🏻. I know it's troublesome but would really help out a lot of new players to have something to aim for and not need to run around the entire cosmos randomly.
The back middle landing gear: Titan, Sol. HopeTech Crossbraces, and Bridge: Hopetown, planet Polvo, Valo system. The landing gear under the hammer head, and the 2x3 hab pieces, Deimos Staryard, Mars, Sol system. Everything else should be available in the outpost ship builder. (just slap down an outpost anywhere, and build the large round landing pad) Also note that there are starhip parts that are level gated. If you don't see a part you want where it should be available, you're probably below the level at which it shows up.
Holy smokes, I never seen something so close to the SC1 BC! I've actually try to made the SC2 Hyperion, dosent look as good as the ship and to your BC but you would get the point. Keep it going, I'll one day make a clean and near clone to the one of the iconic ships to your skill level one day. :p

I loved this design. Starcraft is one of the best RTS games that I poured almost two years into playing. If you're up to a challenge, I would love to see a NASA-focused battleship design using Nova Galactic habs only. The outer parts of the ship can have other brands of non-hab parts, but only a style that fits a NASA build. Since this game is a NASA-Punk style.
Adding a pair of Nova Galactic Braking Engines to the bottom right & left of the front piece works really well for the starcraft terran battlecruiser look. Especially if you colour the round parts blue. I personally also put a second pair between the outer wings and the inner main hull, again, because they look really close to the starcraft battlecruisers - in my case I replaced the two thin flat radiator-looking wing pieces. It isn't perfect, but I think it's as close a match as we can get. Other than that, this build really helped me refine my cruiser appearance. Thanks!

You put out some great tutorials. Love them. Next ones I’d live to see include: The tale spin sea duck, the batwing, the pelican from halo, and the razor crest. I used your build to build my serenity and millennium Falcon. While not 100% the same, your tutorials were a great starting point.
I turned the razorleaf into this build its cool to have spacers freak out when the Terran battle cruiser shows up thanks a bunch for this build I'm a huge fan of SC
suggestion for the future. list what pieces you need to get that are NOT available at your outpost, that way people don't get halfway into the build only to have to start over again because they're missing a piece and can't find a way to connect necessary parts in order to not lose progress.
using a 1x1 hab or 1x1 brace/hull pieces are the substitutes to use in those scenarios. no reason to not be able to finish a build for that reason honestly.

Thanks for this build! Made it work with some parts from the outpost star yard, and now I'm going around trying to get the specialized parts. The gauss cannons were a good pick! Just started firing all 3 weapons and was having a blast. Wish there was a Yamato cannon option though, maybe with some modding.
I am going to try this build in am. I want to try to put in some EM guns when the Yamato should be (though that docker looks awesome there)... not sure if I can without messing up build

I built this thing to spec. It's very well made. When you land, it lands like a normal battlecruiser would if it could (rocks shoot from below, and lands) its extremely intimidating and awsome. I changed the guns to turrets to make it more accurate. Current gen Battlecruisers (minotaur upwards) dont use laser systems anymore they use laser arrays, and will fire multiple volleys of lasers up close. I suggest running the Rheza and Eliminator turrets on te shoulders and wings and a standard lazer/particle weapon on the front for destroying debris. The ship can also cause you to clip and get stuck in front (on some planets but this is extremely rare, albeit possible) This will force you to do a fast travel somewhere or fast travel to orbit. I also notice that sometimes the ship can despawn, but this is common for most custom builds of a certain size, and this build makes use of ALL the parts.

These are the unique parts you need to buy at that place: Deimos (Shipyard Sol) *D. Cargo Hall 2x3 *2x 320CB Landing Gear *D. Mess Hall 2x3 *NG-20 Landing Gear - Wide (Titan) *2x HT Hab Cross Brace (Hopetown) *2x Disruptor 3340 Alpha Beam (Titan) *Fusor DC403 Reactor (Titan) *Kon-Tiki B-600 Bridge (Stroud Eklund Shipyards - Neon). I also replaced the Infirmary at 12:19 with a Workshop, because there was none.
Love your videos, even adapted a bundle or 2 into my conan world (with a sign to credit you of course). With these ship builds, though, it would be cool if you'd add a physical walkthrough so we can really get a feel of the layout. The ship builder is notorious for being a bit weird on how it generates connections between habs.
So i do wish there was an actual full interior walk through rather than snapshots of locations. But that said. Wow. So freaken cool. Great design! Logical interior too.

It would be awesome if it has the legendary Yamato Gun installed. Starcraft gives us a look at BC and Starfield gives us a more detailed look from the inside.
I had over 5k hours on that game and seeing this makes me say what my grandkids would say, Absolute Poggers! Truly remarkable work Barden... you never cease to impress!
The building systems seems very nice and easy to use. I hope they use similar solution in TES 6 and let players build their own plot of lands around illiac bay.
I'm not a fan of the terran ships but I have to admit, this is really well done and I can't wait to see your future ships :) I would love star wars cap ships lol I saw the Imperial Star Destroyer but it is not really playable lol at least that build anyway.
I'd like to see an actual walk through of it. I would probably change a few of the habs up. He connects the living quarters directly behind the bridge. I wouldn't want that bc I thought you would have to walk thru the captains quarters to get to the bridge but I saw a ladder in the bridge so maybe that particular bridge can't be accessed from the back. That's the main reason I wanted a walk through to see how that worked. Either way there's still afew habs I would change like the cargo one. Either way this looks awesome.

Use a deimos brace piece as a fill-in piece if you don't have a specific piece.

I loved the Terran designs of ships and vehicles.
Had to do some tweaking to the wings because it was saying it was too long. Great tutorial! Ship is slow but powerful just like in starcraft

I wouldn't want that bc I thought you would have to walk thru the captains quarters to get to the bridge but I saw a ladder in the bridge so maybe that particular bridge can't be accessed from the back. That's the main reason I wanted a walk through to see how that worked. Either way there's still afew habs I would change like the cargo one. Either way this looks awesome.
