I think so too. I found a pretty good Millennium Falcon build on Google, but there was not Tutor for it, so I combined it with another tutor on RUclips then just changed the parts to be like the one on Google.
I feel like maybe they have taken inspiration and placed the ship parts they like those engineers are too bang on to be a accident

Your ship builds have been awesome to see, and I’m thoroughly impressed with the fidelity of your designs. I know others have tried, but a Normandy SR2 build from you would be just what the commander ordered.
I second this! I prefer the color scheme of the SR1, but the SR2 is a superior ship.
this build rules and this step-by-step video on how to put it is fantastic and makes me feel like im a kid playing with my spaceship legos. great job.
A few things to note, based on my experience, the ship costs roughly around 200K credits.
You will sometimes spawn under the ship amd get stuck when you land.
The ship is huge... like really huge.
The ship is freaking awesome and definitely worth building when you can.
Awesome! I have three questions.
1. We're is the best place to build ?
2. Total cost?
3. Do I need to be a certain level?
The only thing I would want to see changed, is for you to list the spec requirements for the ship at the beginning like the fact the ship is a class C, ship design level 1 is needed, etc. That way those who want to follow this build aren't caught off guard when a piece is unavailable due to lack of character progression. And maybe a mention of exactly how many credits the player needs to afford all the parts.
I just replicated this ship, and I think I spent at least 800k credits, and you need to be lv60 to have the reactor he uses

Hands down your most accurate homage build yet! Outstanding work. Seriously though I have always enjoyed your ship building videos but this is the first that I feel compelled to build myself. I have to have this! Also the editing on the reveal is top notch!

Also found something else to complain about:
When landing in New Homestead to get the proper landing gear the game INSISTS on putting me not in the landing bay when exiting but UNDER it where I am stuck and cannot leave.

I literally never had that happen with any other ship and honestly I have no clue why that is.
i think its because the ship is quite long so when you land with shorter ships youll span correctly but since the ship is longer we spawn under it
There is an easy fix. Click M to go to the map. Fast travel to your ship. It will place you OUTSIDE of that area instead of under the landing bay ramp. Bethesda needs to do better. They should have caught this in the long beta testing they were bragging about.
That happens when your ship is long.
Excellent design! I'd love to see you pull off recreating the Dreadnought Cruiser from Star Wars as well, but I'll be watching these builds regardless of what you build because they're high quality and there's not five minutes spent talking about stuff that isn't the ship design or where you get the pieces. Great work!🎉

That 1x1 hab behind the bridge is only good for connecting a temporary cockpit for travel to Hopetown for the bridge. Otherwise it's just a deadend room. I'd replace it with a hull piece to eliminate the pointless ladder.
I ended up going with the hab piece because I thought it looked better than the hull piece.
@@DrB048 I agree. I've been on a crusade lately to try to eliminate the insane network of ladders in some of my builds. It's hair-pulling work lol

This is great! Mind i ask though what level of starship design, piloting and credits do you need to make this ship? I want to make it for myself for NG+ but at level 45 skill points become kinda rare
At least design one and C-class piloting, idk how many creds though
Just built it..not high enough level for they reactor but I got a lower power sub, had to swap out for some lower power weapons but ill get them once i level up. One question. Those hopetech rear bracers for the engine..I can't find those.

It's so well done.
I went from Lasers recommended to Particle Beams; def a great ship and seems to be able to carry into late game. If you remove the rear ventral tower you can slot a better shield generator, though you do lose a bit of the look (Though the Project Supercharger conversions done in response to the Clone War removed it, it appears, or at least vastly shrank it per the Clone Wars series)
I know its probably too big but its blocky. Can you build one of the ships from Stargate SG1 like Prometheus?

Question, how do you have multiple turrets and weapons and not be told it’s invalid? I can only have 3 weapons on apparentltn
We really need a tutorial on how your able to get all of the different ship parts onto one ship, because whenever I try to mimic one of your builds like the UNSC Frigate its basically impossible to finish as I have to end up going to one of the shipyards that has said part I need which ends up preventing me from saving said parts onto my ship, making it to where I can't even finish it.
if you build an landing pad with ship builder at an outpost you have built it will have all regular parts/habs, then you only need go to the specific shipyards for their rare uniques eg Deimos for the Ares bridge.

@@twentypandora96I went and got the hope tech cross braces, then the large hab piece at Deimos, then the stroud cockpit and put it all on a crappy ship that I stole then went to my outpost to build the rest. Didn’t have everything there mainly some landing gears but I was able to complete pretty much all of it and then went back and swapped the landing gears out with nova and Deimos. Still need to level up to get the reactor and engines he used but I found suitable replacements 😅
@@twentypandora96 idea is the same tho, use your outpost shipbuilder to do all you can, as it has almost all the parts and substitute what you dont as Barden reccommends in this vid to get it flying then go pickup the rare unique parts you need 1 by 1.
Rocinante, I've seen someone else build it but their tutorial is horrid and way to fast, yours are great and easy to follow

Republic gun ship might be something I can look into. I'm holding off on the venator for more ship parts DLC
Wish they would update the game to actually handle Capital Ship sizes and crew complements. Get some proper space battles going!

For longer length builds like this I highly recommend side and rear placements of your landing bay as fast traveling to the ship will have you get stuck in some of the front bay ramps

I'm 90% sure the blockade runner is a Corvette, not a Cruiser.
The consular class is considered a cruiser.
I made the same ship, and it won’t let me use it. It keeps telling me that I have too much power in weapons.
I'm assuming you have the wrong weapons attached, which require too much power.

Best builds I've seen so far. I'd love to see Boba Fett' ship Slave 1. I feel like that would be a rewarding and difficult ship to build considering it's unique design.

An absolutely amazing build. I love how close it is to the original despite Starfield's limited aesthetic parts, and I also love that all of your builds are functional as actual in-game ships with acceptable mobility, cargo, crew, etc. I've seen lots of other fun designs that aren't nearly as functional.
This videos are great. I’m getting starfield next week when my series x comes in. But I’d watch these even if I wasn’t going to be playing starfield lol. Out of the ones I’ve watched this build is about spot on replica of the OG

Absolutely love your builds. These videos must keep coming! How creative you are with the ship builder is very impressive. I’ve tried to tinker around with it and build stuff but it’s so difficult to get things right… you on the other hand appear to be a natural.

I just unlocked Class B piloting, but man I can't wait to get to Class C and start doing cool stuff with the auto-turrets. Seeing a complete 360 mounting of them looks amazing. I can only imagine how fun it will be to fly into a pack of enemies and let those turrets go to town.

By a mile, the most visually accurate recreation of a ship I've seen yet!
Hopefully they add more ship manufacturer parts in future updates so the builds can get even better!

I'm using this build but for some reason when I land in main areas I spawn in under the landing bay and have to toggle collision to get out. Is this an issue regardless or is it something that might just be bugged for me only?
Sounds bugged to me, I haven't had that issue. I'm guessing that will get fixed soon though.

I used a fairly similar Design before but after this video i changed it to match your design and DAWM i love it though i changed to a much bigger Shield so that it survives higher level Areas but its always a blast when you get ambushed by lvl 60 Spacers and they just get lit up by your Turrets left right and center while you just casually swoop through them :D it just feels right

yeah I don't get Bethesda not letting you just stop a build in the middle of it as long as it's not designated as your "Home Ship". Not like you can fly it anyways. Had to use a mod that unlocks all available ship parts (according to level/perk ranks) at whatever Service Technician you decide to use it on.
Honestly, the only complaint I have is that trying to do those builds with a lvl 34 char is just not feasable.
Alot of stuff you use is just not within reach until Level-X ...whatever that may be. The Reactor for instance that is 2x2x2 and has connectors all around is just not something that I get yet.
That isn't classed as a cruiser. That is a _Charger_ class corvette, a design refurbished from the pre war Republic _Consular_ class corvette to make it a better warship. A light cruiser would be substantially larger, and the only Republic ship that was classed as a light cruiser I am aware of is the _Arquitens_ class, which the Empire retained after the transition from the Republic.
