This Beaver Dam Rolled DOWN!

- I've drained beaver dam next to my good friend's lands. It collapsed pretty well! I was afraid that this ditch will not absorb all the mud, but it absorbed very good. :)
Enjoy the video;)

I’m not sure why you want to drown when one of those collapses suddenly and without warning but good luck.
Just a suggestion, you should have a camera further down stream to capture the rush of water from a peaceful trickle
@@katarinad1309 I know when it’s going to happen.
I enjoy how you undercut the beaver dam. Let the force of the water remove 75% of the dam.
Soggy jenga.
Thanks!
Me too!! :)
I enjoy that beavers build these awesome stuctures. No hundred thousand $ college degree.
Your timing to jump out of the way was perfect. Whew!!
Another epic collapse. Well done.
Thanks!
Wow, I saw the bubbles coming up from the backside of the dam and then Whoosh. You are Number 1.
Haha I saw that too 🌞
Right!
Great video! I look forward to every one 👍
Thanks!
WOW!!!!!!....THIS COLLAPSE IS IN MY TOP FIVE LIST!!!!!
You are welcome!
Great job, Mantas! That was a HUGE. Amount of water!
In getting my Biology degree I had to take a couple of courses in physics. So I'd like to do a little analysis on your latest technique:
1. You dug down at the back of the dam. Water pressure increases by a bit over 1 lb per foot of depth, so you added pressure to the entire base of the dam.
2. You took off the front, taking out support there.
3. You undercut the front and started a flow of water under the dam eroding the base.
The above weakened the whole dam on three of it's six sides. There is no support above the dam, and the sides provide very little support. Result - one dam going downstream!
Dam cleaver them Lithuanians. :D
"Water pressure increases by a bit over 1 lb per foot of depth"... best example why the metric system is better & easier. 😉
Water pressure increases by somewhat _less than_ 0.5 lbs/ft.
Good old C4 increases the pressure a hell of a lot more if detonated on the upstream side of the dam near the bottom. Yeah, I saw the Dam Busters movie. Also, my father was an Army Combat Engineer, so that was the stuff he did on a bit bigger scale. Alot . With C 3.
Ahh yes, I remember Professor Dunning-Krugers classes
I did a rough calc on one of his dams and found 700 tonnes/m3 of water behind it.
To this day this is one of your greatest works.
That was really awesome to see. You also seem to be getting less shy when you talk to us. You do a really good job, be proud of that.
Thanks! ;)
I think you were a little surprised at how long it took this dam to collapse. But when it finally did, wow!! That was a lot of water pouring through there! Well done
And quick release once you stepped out of the way, did you notice a water discoloration? like it was bubbling from the bottom right before it gave way?
I saw it's going to collapse :) It started to move slowly :)
It would be fun if a friend of yours would wait a few hundred meters down-stream to see the first burst of water after the collapse! ◡̈
Great idea or if Mantas set up a camera for it
Or use the drone to watch the wall of water roll down the canal!
I don't have more cameras unfortunately. :(
I like the way you put a lot of thought into making it collapse catastrophically. Attacking the bottom and sides. It's more work but it clears it completely. It also looks really cool.
If the Allied used the top-blow method when they blew up German dams during the war, we would speak German now. Bottom is stronger but holds all weight. Only hillbillies in USA puts a stick of dynamite on the top and thinks the whole dam will go away.
That's a unique way of looking at it.@@arneanka4633
Spectacular!! Best one yet. tnx for sharing. It makes me wonder what happened downstream.
wow, another great collapse. You're getting to be an expert. Good job.
Thanks!
That was awesome. That sudden rush of water probably destroyed other dams downstream. It seems that getting the dams to collapse does a better job of cleaning all the debris out than the old way of cutting channels through them. Great Job!
Thank you! ;)
Hands down the most satisfying and best beaver dam removal videos, wish they were all this climactic
Thanks!
This is hands down my favorite so far. Hello from America in Michigan
Thank You!
Glad to see you try my suggestion of weakening the upstream side first. Undermining the dam gives a good result. No two are built alike and none are easy. A very nice rollover!
That’s a whole lot of MUD! It’s like a beaver dam built with 3 branches and 2-2 ton dump trucks full of packed down mud!!
At 10:33 little air bubbles rise on the up-stream side of where he's pulling sticks out. I thought that was really interesting!
You are a master craftsman. Those beavers don't stand a chance against your skills.
Thanks RIKARDO! ;]
The way this dam collapsed, you came very close to reaching the bed prior to the dam. That not only helped return the waterway to its original state, it also made the job of rebuilding that dam that much harder.
Wonderful video! That was quite a lot of water busting through! Just a great job. Stay safe!
Thanks!
you're getting good at creating some amazing collapses
When the wall collapsed, I couldn't help but hear the guy from the Hydraulic press Channel "And avaaay we go!"
Rollin' Rollin'
Rollin' down the river!
I know I said this before, but give the guy a like!
This is the best DAM video I've ever seen
Thanks mate! ;)
Another great dismantling and water flow. You nailed another, Mantas! 🇳🇱❤️🙂👍🇺🇸
Thank you!
Oh my goodness. That release was awesome
Thanks!
Your new and improved method of clearing a dam is much more satisfying than your other method! I think this new way is faster as well. More time to clear more dams!!!!😆😆😆😆
your country is so beautiful, even the ditch water looks nice
Thanks!
Awesome indeed 👏
Wow very spectacular video.
Thanks!
I wonder what the beavers say about you around the dinner table. "that dam guy was at it again! " lol great video. Rerouting water is just too much fun
Huge solid beaver dam!!! Well done!!
beautiful collapse, well done, Sorry I miss the premier of the video.
Thanks! and chill :)
Ahhh you’re in Lithuania 🇱🇹
Thankyou for that intro as more info about it all
Another suggestion if I may !
Have drone ready to fly once dam rolls over & jump ahead downstream to show the surge wave as it races down the channel
Great to watch
Gary from Australia in a place called Lightning Ridge where it will be 36c today
Hot n wndy plus a drought, very dry brown country with bush fires our big concern
Come visit one day !!
Very sound idea, I'd enjoy seeing it rush down the stream. I think it might look like one of those flash floods you get in dry areas.
YES!!
Hey! It's the place deep in continent :) far from other places :) I hope it would be hard to reach it :)
Great job.
Wow! So exciting to see them collapse. Great job 👍
Thanks!
Beautiful country you live in. Thank you for sharing
You are welcome!
Excellent video!! Good camera angles, wow!!!
You are welcome!
Slam Dam and he did it again👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👌🏻👌🏻👍🏻greetings from Belgium
Thanks! ;)
That, so far has been the best collapse. The way it instantly filled the canal great. It didn't take long to drain it.
Another great beaver dam collapse!
Thanks mate!
Your Method was Intriguing to say the least. I have Enjoyed watching your Skills Improve with the time you have been removing Dams. Keep up The Good Work and as always Keep Safe...
Thanks!
Once I saw the bubbles on yhe back side I knew it was gonna go. Great work!!!!!
Loosening the back of the dam, the mud, then attacking the front foundation certainly helps it fail with water pressure.
Great job as always, your getting better and better undermining the dam.hope family is well.just be careful, one day beavers might set trap for you.catch you off guard.great video.👍👍👍😎😎😎🦫🦫🦫
A wonderful sight of freed water. Well, great work, as always!
Thanks!
WOW!!!😂
Out of all beaver dam collapses that I have seen on your channel this was the nicest collapse.
Releasing the mud at the back of the dam surely helped. Because, it made the dam thinner. Thus, less resistance to the water pressure.
Thank you!
Bro that one took ages!! My wife was yelling at the tv “do the other side! Why are you going on one side?!” Hahaha I loved that one 😂
Wonderful video! That was quite a lot of water busting through! Just a great job.
Thanks!
Amazing! You are doing a great job, keep up the good work. Enjoying your videos, well done you.👏👏👍👍🇬🇧
This channel is the best for dam removal. I really respect that its done by hand. Shout out to you bro!!
10 points for the break true and i like the way you use your tools 😊😊
Thanks!
This is an AMAZING amount of water and an AWESOME collapse!
VERY WELL DONE my Man!
Really really enjoyed this, Keni.
Keep up the nice work/channel.
Kudos, my Brother from another Country!
PS. It took a huge amount of earth, sticks, and mud with it downstream.
You could literally see the water line on the banks dropping.
This is one of the best collapses out of several so far. Fantastic!
Thank you buddy!
Great work 👏👏👏👍
Thanks!
Greetings from the BIG SKY.
Mantas , great job as always, love the way you under cut the beaver dam. another super job . David B. , Utah, USA. 🦫🦫🦫♥♥♥.
Hear here! From another avid viewer in Utah. Roy, UT that is.
Thank you guys!
On this one, you could actually see the water level drop when the damn let go.
That was so cool-couldn't have been more perfect.
You are welcome!
Wow what a great collapse. I have watched this twice😊
Well done!! Best I've seen.
I Love watching these videos ❤.
❤that was wicked.
Cutting out behind the dam first definitely helped with the collapse
Wow that's brilliant doo close I'm so glad you moved when you did xx❤❤
Sometimes lately, you just have to credit the builders! Undermining works for another spectacular dam failure. It is certainly satisfying as a viewer. I can only imagine what it must be like standing there beside it. Good video!
Thanks!
Yahoo!!! Wonderful!!!
Awesome job! Really enjoyed this.
Thanks!
WOW! THAT WAS AWESOME
Thanks!
Absolutely superb! You have to do it like this every time 🙂
So satisfying!!!
wow ! this was best ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!! #1 this year !!!!!!!!!
Thanks!
Very enjoyable video
Thank you Mantas 🦘❤️❤️❤️
Spectacular 🎉
I love watching these videos because they relax me and bring down my blood pressure.
Thank you! ☺️
請注意你的安全。
Super results from a frontal attack. The collapse was as spectacular as a machine removal. Never thought about loosening the mud behind the dam first, impressive results.
I was hoping for a mud dance to make the mud cut deeper and longer.
Perfect on a grand scale
Hey Papa. It was 9c this morning in Montreal. It's the coldest temperature we've seen yet this season. Only 11c and raining today, right now.
Thankyou for the various views, i bet you felt great after it fell xx
You made a massive difference there, well done. 👏
Another epic roll! Great work!
Excellent video as always. Stay safe out there.
Thanks!
Another great video! 👍
Thanks!
Best collapsing ever great job, loved it
It’s not! Pls check other collapses there are even better ✌️
I love the look on your face when you know that the dam is about to BLOW!!
Your new method is very entertaining and fun to watch thanks.
You are welcome! Unfortunately it's not always possible :)
One of my favorites to date.
That was a proper roll over!!!
Thanks!
What a beautiful country!
Thanks!
Wow! Glad you got out of the way!
Easy :)
It is great to see that you have been attacking dams differently then you did last year (working on the bottom of the to get it to collapse).
That was so cool,..you know when they are going to collapse,..That has to be so satisfying,..love the drone shots,..
You are welcome!
Best one yet ! 😅
Thanks!
Wow. That was incredible. Great job.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🦫🦫🦫🦫
