Despite staring at the picture of you couldn’t make out the brand. !! Maybe end up chatting when my shiney new kit eventually arrives and I’ve got confidence to take a Cessna to Heathrow!
These aircraft are being piloted by real people, but they are very much virtual! They are being flown by people at home who then connect their flight simulator in to the VATSIM network.
Unfortunately not yet! It's very hard to predict when traffic levels will return to a high enough level for many of us to return, but hopefully it happens soon!

And yes, Vatsim does a great job of providing VFR services, though the majority of traffic is IFR.
Were you counting your blessings that you weren't on Tower when you saw the Cessna traffic? :D
