- We had one full day to see all of the sights in Bristol, so we chose to wander around the city!
After enjoying a buffet breakfast in our hotel, we headed out for the day with the ultimate goal of seeing Clifton Suspension Bridge. First stop was a Banksy art near out hotel. From there we spent time at Bristol Cathedral, and climbed up the hill to Cabot Tower. We stopped by Birdcage Walk and then got lost before ultimately making it to Clifton Suspension Bridge. We wandered back through the city and stopped at Bristol and Bath Distillery to enjoy some delicious rum drinks. After finding another Banksy, we headed to dinner at Las Iguanas. We then spent the night walking along the harbor and enjoying some gelato for dessert.

Both rivers are tidal!
Thank you for letting us know!
The River running under the bridge has the 2nd largest tidal Rise and Fall in the World. A couple of hours later and that river would have been Full. 😊
Wow!!! We had no idea! Thank you for sharing. ☺️
@@HNHMarriedLife The tidal range at the mouth of the Avon, just a few miles downstream, is up to 49 feet between high and low spring tides. The tidal range at London Bridge is as high as 27 feet.
Both the Thames on London and the one in Bristol are tidal estuaries, so you saw them at low tide, not low due to lack of rain
Ohhh thank you for the insight! Would be cool to see it when the tide is up to.
I have watched a lot of these types of vlogs around 5he UK. This is a really good one, love your camera skills.
Thank you so much 😊
What an adventurous day! 😊 Ooo can’t wait to see the next stop.
It’s going to be a special one!
Awesome vlog, thanks for sharing!! We can't wait to see more, cheers from Mexico 🙂
Thank you!!!! And thank you for taking the time to watch our video! ☺️
Thank you for sharing. We visited Bristol in June this year, the rive is full and beautiful.
Thank you for taking the time to watch our video. ☺️ We recently learned that the river raises with the tide!
@@HNHMarriedLife that's the reason we loved about travel -learn so much..thank you for the reply. 😃👍
Bristol is a town of hills and rain. I know. I went to University there.
Yes, there are so many hills! We were lucky and had wonderful weather when we were there.
cool
Thank you!
You guys did a lot of walking this day! Haha.
Yea we sure did. Lol Step count activated haha
So what was the verdict on your tacos?
We don’t generally do brilliant Mexican food here as we don’t have the links, like the US does. However, our Indian food is a huge deal and we do Indian like Americans do Mexican.
It was good! The platter special was a great deal to with a nice variety. We were so bummed we didn’t get to try the infamous Indian restaurant in London.
We are no too bothered what side you walk on you know.
