RFID technology is just fancy word play for aluminium properties. It just naturally block signals. I can achieve the same effect by wrapping my wallet around with an aluminium foil. Most scanners need you to get super close in order to get your card details.

I’m really loving my magsafe MOFT wallet. Does not hold a lot but that’s sorta the goal right? Having a phone stand on hand at all times is great and sticking to my phone keeps everything organized in my pocket.
Distil Union bifold was so close to greatness. The squeeze to open is great because those designs will stretch and be unable to hold smaller number of cards but the other features were a miss. The pull tabs would have been fine on their own and the magnetic snap shut is just silly
Because I need the function of apple airtag, I use the Minimalist airtag wallet. The brand of my airtag wallet is ONIJIA. I usually put seven cards and some cash in it, and it has been used stably for two months. I personally like the style of this wallet.
Those that are made of leather get loose pretty fast . And the cards don’t snug in anymore .. could easily slip out . Especially if u don’t have enough cards to stretch it
Ekster is gorgeous and lovely to the touch; yet my personal experience is that the mechanism broke in less than 14 days. For such an expensive wallet that was pathetic.
In the 3 years Iv had mine the first one broke at the year mark the trigger mech broke so they gave me a discount for my second one and my rubber strip that keeps the cards in place broke, Iv been thinking about switching

Yes. The wallet industry really is a ripoff. For 5 or 10 years, I've been using nothing but rubber bands (around a stack of cards and some folded cash.... the best rubber bands are the ones that are put around brocolli stems for shipping or in grocery stores - because they are the perfect length, and are wide).. But I'm thinking about finding/making something like you mention, because the cards on the outside eventually get dirty, and if I sweat a lot, the cash gets wet.

If you're carrying a card-only wallet and spending cash, it's too easy to pull both out of your pocket forget about the wallet.. That's how mine got stolen. What is more important than the wallet itself is where and how you carry it.

Yep. My boyfriend wants a slim wallet for our anniversary and I was looking for actual reviews. I looked up the Bellroy wallet and found it interesting that most of the reviews on Amazon mention that it can't even fit half the cards it advertises as being able to hold. Not to mention some of these look like bricks that would be uncomfortable keeping in your back pocket 😅 Ah well, I guess the search continues for some youtuber that is genuinely reviewing these products and not just trying to see them and get money through affiliate links in the bio or something.
None of these replace my current wallet. I need some storage to carry a 25c coin (cz i need that to use carts in some grovery stores), storage for a sim ejecter tool. I don't feel comfortable carrying my cash wrapped around a band and everytime I take it out everyone can see what i am carrying. All i need is a wallet that pops out cars where i dont have to struggle to get the right card out with a stretchable pocket that can house some bills, a coun and a sim ejector tool. And for gods sake dont make $100.

I bought a similar style wallet for only $20. There are a lot of ridge copies now available which work just as good
