Have you tried reducing the air flow right down for the low frys?
yes, so when I perform it softly, I can produce a very thick distortion with it. I just have a hard time being able to consistently project it. My mid through highs, I can do very easily. I’ve just always had an issue with projecting my low pitched fry screams. Some days I can perform them effortlessly and other days they just don’t want to cooperate. so what I typically do is I use my false cords to kind of compensate and mask the deficits in my low pitched fry screams. but if you listen to vocalists who can do low fry screams extremely well, they are definitely projecting them at a decently loud volume. good examples are Oceano, Bonecarver, Until we die, and Enterprise Earth (earlier albums)
yo man. I totally forgot about this comment. at the time, I don’t think I fully understood what you meant. But now I do. Over the past two months I realized that I was adding too much air pressure from my low pitched fry screams. I was essentially using the same air pressure that I use for my mids and my highs. Now I realize that the amount of air pressure I need for my low fry screams is just a tiny bit less than what I use for my highs, but it makes a world of difference.
