Robert as a fan since the Grantland days and as a Packers fan I gotta say you walk an incredibly narrow line of “obvious bears fan who hurts when the packers do well” and “guy who loves the Packers process.” I think my favorite was just your utter “wtf” about Zach Tom being good. Puka had a very specific situation. Elite QB when healthy, narrow target tree and elite talent. Right off the bat Burton and Polk fail one or more of those so you know neither is the next Puka. And that's fine. Puka was a unicorn. Probably wont happen again for a decade.
Put a label on ARSB at your own risk. He's an Alpha wide receiver so tier 1 and tier 2 buckets really dont really matter. He's getting his. He's different.
What would help is a dictionary of fantasy terms agreed upon by the analysts of the fantasy community. For example, I would define breakout as a player who exceeded their ADP by 3 rounds or more.
The media needs to stop with this headline lol. We may never see another Puka Nacua rookie season in our lifetime. If I had to bet I’d put my money on Jermaine Burton
I'd rather bet on Troy Franklin to have a big season than Jermaine Burton. Jermaine will have his chance next year unless Chase or Higgins get injured. Franklin alreaady has a chemistry with Bo Nix and his biggest competition is Courtland Sutton.
@@maximerheault8349troy franklin is panning out to be Quentin Johnston 2.0 in camp. Guy in my league got nauseated by the insane drops pancake hands catch with his body happening and dropped him. Burton is setting camp on fire before tweaking ankle
The problem with crunching #'s and coming to conclusions about who's better or what teir they're in is that it doesn't account for a players personality, mentality, or work ethic. Pitting Ayuk vs. St. Brown is pointless. They have completely different skill sets. Ayuk has more physical talent than St. Brown, but Saint has that MAMBA MENTALITY, and THAT IS PRICELESS. I'd take Ra' on my squad 10/10 times 💯
This was a good conversation, but I just want to say I believe you two are both too low on St. Brown. He is a true alpha WR1 and he has consistently put that on tape. He is going to explode similar to what we saw prime Antonio Brown do.
ARSB is great perennial pro bowler, might get an all-pro. AB is OPOY, perennial all-pro, and top 5 AR all time. Only guys who could be mentioned with him rn is Hill, Jefferson and Adams. Amon ra needs to up his game and stay there for 4+ years

I am a Chargers fan and i cannot disagree any more. We’ll see but i feel we severely overeached and overpaid for him. Didnt do much in college and now we expect him to be some great superstar especially with that body frame? He wont be able to handle press coverage. It was a big mistake to draft him with so many better options on the board.
We’ll need to see about durability as with every rook but he is fully capable of becoming a number 1 option like kupp with the circumstances op wrote about. He’ll be able to play slot and outside in the league. As for college production, not many wideouts playing for Georgia are gonna have the gaudy numbers you’d want and the team is always stacked but the past two years ladds proven to be an essential part of raising the offenses ceiling for the best team in the country. Not to mention since apparently he’s picked up the playbook blazing fast as per his starting qb, he’ll be ready for a big role very soon if not right away
@@ShelbyBrookingsDavid Palmer’s good too and he’ll be the 1 at first but I really think people are underrating ladds athleticism and ability to get open. Also he didn’t even have 35 last year I just looked it up it was 29 🤣not helping my case but look game by game. He only played in 7 reg season games due to injury and his best games were all in a row against really good sec teams. And health wise ik I just said he got hurt but I just don’t think there should be any extra concern over his frame than anyone else who enters the league to play this violent sport

@@costo34ify I don’t think either one of them suck Coker is an elite athlete but played against lower level competition. Baker was recruited to Alabama and was very good at UFC has shown flashes in training camp but needs to clean up the drops. I think he has the potential to be a very good receiver in the NFL he is a good route runner and can make tough contested catches but again has to concentrate on the ball more consistently
Matt Harmon is really sharp, imo, when discussing wr's.
No one is perfect in Fantasy football prognostication, but he is someone to have faith in.

Great show gentlemen 🎉
Demario Douglas. Not a rookie but he sure knows how to get open.
Injury prone very smurfy yep he is a patriot receiver.
I think Javon Baker will be the guy people want in the Pats offense. More explosive, certified dawg, has the alpha #1 potential

Yeah..I agree, but THEY keep luring people in with the headline.
Yeah its a fairytale situation. Polk doesn't have the QB for this to happen. It happened with AJ Green but can the talent overcome QB situation.
@@The313dashwell, you can’t know polk doesn’t have the qb yet lol but yes I agree the odds are very low
