Guys in no way do I think the buyer was a bad guy, this is just a good example on what to watch out for when making a sale and always go with your gut. Especially when buying or selling trucks and equipment it’s a dirty game with a lot of players!!

His stuff is junk. That truck is painted rust like all the rest. The buyer just wanted honesty about all the things wrong with it but Tim wanted to just sell it to a mug that doesn't know anything for as much as he could.

I'd like to see it, instead of he is saying he is broke and then buying another truck, blah blah. You don't know his finances, nor do you know what goes on in his life. Then the very next day he buys a crane.... or 4 trucks...it's so obvious what he's doing and people like you that for some reason blindly defend these types of things and help people like this. $80k would be a steal of a price, its underpriced you know that. Any dealer likely would pay any price and mark it up 20-25k all day. I'd say hold on to it, you won't regret it. And you are the most honest youtuber and your friend FSC trucking is right up there too, you are both best of truckers on youtube. God bless.

I think you did the right thing, Tim. If the deal doesn't feel right, it is better to walk away. Especially when the buyer is telling you that there's something major wrong with the truck that you know isn't true. Thanks for the video!
Good for you Tim for not selling the truck to that guy! He was figuring that you are desperate and would be able to chew you down as much as he could. It's a nice truck, and you know what she's worth. It sucks you drove all the way there and what it cost you in fuel and your time. Praying for your Uncle Ronnie. I just lost my dad in November to cancer, coincidentally, my dad was a Vietnam vet and his name was Ron. Cancer sucks!
How ever my dad lived 7 years after they found it.

Prayers for your uncle, hoping he gets good news from his doctor. I lost my mom in 2008 to pancreatic cancer, she only lived about 30 days after they diagnosed her. Praying all goes well for your family.

A man's word is his bond, and according to both of you, you're both guilty of breaking your word.
The one thing that's a tad bit unusual, is that he brought a Certified Check, which usually means it's for the amount y'all agreed upon, I'm just saying that's unusual to go to the bank, get charged for the check, and then travel a long way, if that Check wasn't for the agreed upon amount..... 🤷

As someone rebuilding from a house fire 2-18-2022, I can say that it’s a lot of ups and downs. It is totally different commercial insurance versus residential insurance, but either way is no fun. We should be moving in March, or so we’re told. Will definitely keep y’all in my prayers. Nothing about it is any fun, but we have had the pleasure of meeting so many nice people along the way.

Ronnie, “Welcome Home” my husband was a Vietnam Vet 67-68. He died from Agent Orange (lung cancer) in 2018. He was a truck driver for 20 years not counting the time in the Army. I have fighting pancreatic cancer to the last 3 years I've had a Whipple operation and they came back I will keep him in my prayers because of that I know exactly what he's going through

Very Nice video showing how some people are in buying and selling of trucks. Me personally being with a mechanic background in diesel trucks and equipment and driving trucks, I might of chuckled at the nephews bid and probably said well the truck not forsale for you. Sorry your just trying to lowball me in difficult times. Maybe I just run the old peaches and cream down the road myself after all. Nice talking with ya, take care. I just wanted to tell you that you are my inspiration. I have worked extremely hard to build my business in the hotshot industry and had some great years but have alot of bad luck this past year. One thing I have learned from you is staying positive and humble. I may end up having to go back to working for someone but I will never give up on my goals of running my own transportation business. If you ever need anything just holler I am just across the KY line from you.
