What I think you should do to your truck is put lights back on the sides of it but make them LED ones that you can use a switch to turn them on I would honestly switch your headlights to LED because LED is a lot brighter. I love watching your videos I have always been a big fan of big trucks. I love to tinker with my small 72cc moped in my free time I enjoy taking things apart and fixing them but I get stuck working all the time my moped needs a rebuild I would do it myself but I don’t have time to do it so I’m sending it out to be done.
I use to run hogs with jesse, out of iowa and Minnesota to Missouri. He is one of the most honest and humble guys you will ever meet. I'm glad to call him a friend.
So happy you kept Sherbert! I would love for you to do it up and give to your lovely wife, she deserves it. A great companion to Rooster and then you would both have matching Peterbilts, and no matter what colour she chooses it will always be Sherbert, great name for a truck.
Tim I just love you and family and watching you all grow more and more loving see it everyday your friend Thomas from Franklin Ohio Warren county Ohio love as always and I respect
dual 200 gal tanks. apu. side step box. keep the headache rack. put rgn ramps on it so you don't have to slide the 5th wheel back at all. change the visor to a traditional long 14 inch. re-spray the hood. maybe add a phonex led light bar up top for oversize and call it good
Hey Tim Rob And I Have Hauled A Lot Of Brick And Steel Together He Is A A Number One Guy He Has Worked All Off His Life And Is Still a Great Friend Glad You Guys Are Working Together He Really Knows How To Make Those Old 855 Cummins run Back in The Day Tell Him Rick Webb Says High!
Glad you kept Sherbert! Keep the front fenders, they look fine/custom! Keep the fuel capacity, it will save a lot of money being able to buy it at at a cheaper cost, and get you back home. Paint the hood, Get new light panels when you can afford to do so. Keep the headache rack, looks great, color matched, will keep your chains and binders out of the weather. Set her up for a RGN/boat trailer specialty truck! Oh, and get rid of that ridicules visor, and get one that won't be calling every DOT officer for miles to come check you out! New seats, the first thing!!!!
The sherbet pete is really starting to grow on me. Really does look like a fun ride to drive. Being on that South Carolina farm reminds me of when my grandfather grew up on a farm in Hutchinson Minnesota and he would have to come home immediately to help his dad run the farm which I got to see for myself when we were in Hutchinson actually going to one of those combine shows where we got to see all the different harvesters and what they did.
I think the first thing I would do is replace those seats. Driver needs to be comfortable and those seats are rough. But as always, you do you and I'll back ya.
Congratulations on the load.. I'm not a truck driver but I've been watching you for awhile now and this just surprised me... I LIVE IN ELKIN... anyway just thought I'd share... Again... CONGRATULATIONS
This is probably the most down to earth RUclips channels I know of, love yours guy’s content. Not a trucker myself but I do enjoy viewing the life of a trucker video by video. Love you guys take care stay safe!
Put the lights back on ps Tim your a awsome person. you are going through your own stuff and you fixed your truck to first help your friend speaks to what kinda man you are stay awsome
That older sprayer is like new from the old John Deere 700 and 734 sprayers with out any cabs and the old 3 wheel was easy to roll we did that a time or two and was very lucky it would throw you out far enough it wouldn't land on you. Love the look of that Peterbilt.
If GOD Brings you to it, he'll get you through it!! 110% support yalls channel no matter the content! I'm extremely greatful Ashley and you share yalls lives with us!!! Thank yall!! GOD Bless and keep up the great work!!!
Light 💡 it back up like a rolling Christmas tree but using some better grade of lights to show it off while rolling and sitting still beautiful piece and when Rooster gets straight he won’t have to work so hard just on the super heavy stuff.God Continues To Bless And Keep You All Gentry To The Top In Jesus Name . Prayers Prayers Prayers And Blessings God Got You !!!!!!!
Think it was this video where made a statement about “Sherbert” being a beautiful truck and then added something to the effect to good for Gentry, think you should strive for people saying “ look at that truck, must be one of Gentry’s Know you had some rough times but wishing you nothing but the best
Light that baby up like the Rockefeller Christmas Tree Mr. Gentry. Greetings from central Indiana. Home of Indiana State University, where the Legend Larry Bird played college basketball and took ISU to the 1979 Championship game against Magic Johnson. Looking forward to seeing your next video(s) I’m so glad RUclips introduced you channel to me. I really enjoy learning the 18 wheeler aspect and something new on every video you produce. Thanks again Mr. Gentry. Until next video, stay safe sir.
Light it up like a Christmas tree Timmy, and if you can, keep that sunshield on her. It really helps to make her what she is. A mean machine. God bless you and your beautiful family.
Holy macaroni...! That warehouse was, except that lone DD, just chock full of CATs, CATs, and more CATs! A perfect engine for Sherbet (darn it, that name makes me hungry for ice cream, and I've eaten lunch!)
I know this is an older video but you need to do a video which highlights all the assets you have. go through all the trucks and other equipment and give info on each in the lineup
Our whole family loves you❤️❤️Can l just say Braxton is so unbelievable!!We hope all is well with your family...stress with utube must be overwhelming ❤️❤️❤️But you just need to keep doin what you doin!!!🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
The orange pete would look better with only 2 fuel tanks a modern visor and some paint on the hood. That rig will serve you well. A few changes in the interior and drivers will be lined up to get behind the wheel I like how you have slowed everything down so you can stay in full control of all you have to take care of. God Bless You and all of your Family.
Let me guess the big changes are you spending a lot of money probably move into a different place and building a big nice new shop with all that insurance money you got plus plus all the handouts you got on top of your insurance money
New seats, for sure! A good cleanup on the interior….definitely ditch that obstruction of a visor. I’m one of those oddballs that actually LIKES a stock-height stainless visor. Lights are neat, but it’s imperative that the wiring be spot-on and sealed to the elements(or as sealed as possible)….chasing electrical gremlins is frustrating, and guaranteed that DOT will nail you for one that isn’t working. As far as the muffler delete goes, Tim, I’d do it, but I would at least install a resonator…that way, states such as Virginia can’t pop you for noise violations. Still has that sound, but will technically keep you legal as a “muffler” will be in place.
Really hope they end up replacing all the lights they took off the orange truck eventually to make it look really good again. I completely understand why they haven’t yet. Maybe when they get ready to repaint it they can.
I hope everything goes that way you think it is going and you can have a big shop with three Big bays in it so you can work on your stuff and have a good space for all your stuff and office
You know CAT started selling engines again? Apparently you can trade in damaged blocks to caterpillar for a complete reman. Not sure on the fine details but it might help you to look into it.
My old 1979 kw lw 924 don’t got no boost gauge 😂just pyro and my ears 3408 big kitty , she sure does spool up nice when I’m pulling a good load of Douglas fir, it can pull so hard it will twist the power divider or twist a shaft , I’ve also blown one of my rears right out the back , was a bit of a hot shot with er when I first got it , but now I’m 40 and nice and easy on my old girl
Tim, you were about 20 minutes from my house. Would have loved to been able to meet you and Jessie and buy you lunch. Sherbet is a awesome truck. Stay safe out there and continued prayers for the company and a new shop.
Tim, at least you have the option to put an engine right back into Rooster and get it back out making money. Sucks you didn't get the stretched frame and new paint, but you gotta count your blessings the way it is.
I say tune it up to 800 horse power and 770 pounds of torque and you'd have a turn heads everywhere kind of truck. It already has some nice sound track to it
Check out the website www.gentryandsonstrucking.com/ let us know what you think we should do to Sherbet the Peterbilt!!??
Your the best Tim!
I will definitely check it out!
In my opinion the visor needs to go it also needs 200 gal tanks on each side , complete repaint and deck plate
Thanks for the update Tim
What I think you should do to your truck is put lights back on the sides of it but make them LED ones that you can use a switch to turn them on I would honestly switch your headlights to LED because LED is a lot brighter. As long as you have the good lord on your side you will be alright.
That place with all the CAT engines is my idea of heaven!
Tim, do they sell to the general public or do they do some private thing? Do they have a website?
I use to run hogs with jesse, out of iowa and Minnesota to Missouri. He is one of the most honest and humble guys you will ever meet. I'm glad to call him a friend.

What I think would look good is, paint all your trucks the same color, white with black stripes match your sticker on the side of the door.
Need somebody to design a better company logo the one that have now is gawty & way to large
Glad you kept Sherbert! Keep the front fenders, they look fine/custom! Keep the fuel capacity, it will save a lot of money being able to buy it at at a cheaper cost, and get you back home. Nice truck. If was mine, I would paint it pearl white with metal flakes
loving the OTR vids, i use to go with my dad all the time when i was a kid so it brings back a ton of memories.

For a blowed up truck she did the job!!! I think the guy confused black smoke for white... Great video Tim!!
Yeah that guy was a idiot
You have to put the lights back on the side panels on the Sherbet. It will look sharp!
Old girl runs down the road good! Glad things are getting back in order for you.
14:01 my college is right over that hump coming out of the tunnel. that’s awesome man greetings from TN
She’s working for you, now make her purty when you can, paint, polish, and chrome❤❤❤❤

Put the lights back on
ps Tim your a awsome person. you are going through your own stuff and you fixed your truck to first help your friend speaks to what kinda man you are stay awsome
I love that you kept sherbet ❤️
Got me a R.I.P SHIRT on order thanks brother can't wait to get it
Leave the front fenders on Dreamsycle, they look nice and give the Pete a nice look, almost like a classic Harley

Tim here in Montana we don't mess with drivers not being prepared for our roads. It's tough trucking up here in the winter.
The one trucking video I’ve watched where I actually know where your at😂 and have driven it
Sherbet is gorgeous. I know nothing about trucks but she is a keeper Tim
Holy macaroni...! That warehouse was, except that lone DD, just chock full of CATs, CATs, and more CATs! A perfect engine for Sherbet (darn it, that name makes me hungry for ice cream, and I've eaten lunch!)
Y’all wasn’t too far away from us down here in the Low Country of Charleston SC!

Yea them Detroits are cheap good motors but you cant beat the Cats. I love hearing them kittys perr.
For sure bud. Kittycat all the way
So glad you kept that truck
That's 58 . Was in Virginia if you didn't know you went through 3 States in about 5 minutes when you came out of the tunnel.
Sherbert is a Tough ole Truck Glad you didn't sell her and she just proved what she's worth with the boom sprayer
The orange pete would look better with only 2 fuel tanks a modern visor and some paint on the hood. That rig will serve you well. A few changes in the interior and drivers will be lined up to get behind the wheel
I like how you have slowed everything down so you can stay in full control of all you have to take care of. God Bless You and all of your Family.

I wish I could be driving that beautiful truck love the Drake breaks in the tunnel sounds outstanding
Great Choice of words, Hesitate and wanted me to lower the price. Sounds like me. Great Job Tim You the Man. Georgia mad Mikey.

So glad u held onto her that is one nice Pete
My buddies got 2 or 3 of the heart window Pete's!! And it took me a while to realize how rare that are
That is one beautiful truck irrespective of age with a dashboard out of a Jumbo jet - impressive!
Light it up like a torch!
Really hope they end up replacing all the lights they took off the orange truck eventually to make it look really good again. I completely understand why they haven’t yet. Maybe when they get ready to repaint it they can.
Tim u must have a guardian angel watching over you
Good ol exit 41 dog patch center, my hometown
Good ol' London, KY.
Jesse driving that big long peterbilt💪💪
Trail King makes some awesome trailers. Pulled one for years.
I hope everything goes that way you think it is going and you can have a big shop with three Big bays in it so you can work on your stuff and have a good space for all your stuff and office
That old sprayer is the style of a Generation 2, they only stopped making them in 1997!
I think you should update your logo on the trucks to what’s on the old yeller shirt
You know CAT started selling engines again? Apparently you can trade in damaged blocks to caterpillar for a complete reman. Not sure on the fine details but it might help you to look into it.
Cat never stopped selling reman engines. The new program will be engines built with brand new castings, not remanufactured
The best part is they will take anything for a core! Can rip out a Cummins or a Detroit and put in a cat! As long as it’s not a newer emission engine
@@06lbzduramax3500 yeaa I thought that was pretty cool as well.
Remember when you install a,new reman in a pre1999 truck you have to run a ELD
Put one of those custom grills on it. With the top right corner saying Gentry and son’s and the bottom left corner saying the cream sickle. !
That old red freightliner is Mike Douglas from jellico tn good running truck
AWESOME AWESOME Rig
& I LOVE The Way There Kept !!! 👍👍👍👍👍

Glad you stick to your gut feeling on the truck deal they tried to make you get lower on the price keep the truck
if you keep Sherbet you should def shorten it for the work you carry out. I think it would still look like a beast shortened up.
I love that truck, can't wait to see it all lit up!
Dream cicle looks tall and proud. Wooohooo!
I used to be a tracker trailer driver. I love that “office”. One sweet ride. Ps. I want the Austin

Holy cow that fresh Cat is on KT3406E's level of detail.
I kinda like the tank setup on the orange truck.
