Safe to say, this little fellow is best for video work. Looks really nice. Ironically, the lack of sharpness in photography makes the video look very professional and film like.
I watched somewhere else where it tells that info on the written numbers on the end of the lens. It's 1 meter or 3.3 feet. Any closer and it will not focus.
210/55=3.8 That means almost 4X zoom... Now compare that to the 125X zoom of the Nikon P1000 :D Yeah, I know the sensor is smaller, but the zoom difference is huuge!

55mm to 210 mm on that camera is the equivalent of 82,.5 to 305 mm on a fullframe camera (35mm standard)
Surprisingly good depth of field! :)

But the sensor is smaller, you can't change the lenses on the camera body, and the P1000 footage doesn't look very good in comparison.
Background music is also nice...
