Today I will finally be getting new key fob shells for my 2006 Saab 9-3 2.0T. The keys like to melt and disintegrate and looks horrible. Fix will work for 2003-2012 Saab 9-3 2.0T or Aero.

Exactly, once the rubber begins to disintegrate there is no way to fix it unless you want to take a crack at a custom 3D printed cover

Obviously you have no idea what it costs to have someone make a whole new keyfob. It's ridiculously expensive...

Try reversing the battery terminals and then hit lock/unlock. Happens to the best of us
help me with this question: I own a 2003 9-3 Arc and have only one key - Where may I find a Saab circuit board and how do I program it so that I have a functioning spare key?
You can pick up a key fob with the circuit board in it from FCP Euro or other sites and it will be about $100. Then, someone with a Tech2 scanner can program it to the car. If you want to purchase a Tech2, it’s about $350 from China for a replica. Check out my newest video to see if that’s something you would want to buy!

I only have one key fob for my Saab and it is terrible condition...
All of the rubber buttons have fallen out and I can't use the fob anynore to lock or unlock anything.
Didn't realize replacing your fob was that simple
Definitely look at getting another key. If you lose the only one you have you have to buy a new CIM as well then
@@sub-zeroeuro yea I went to the hospital about a year ago, and when I got out they returned all my items to me except my key fob was missing....
I freaked out and they had no idea where it was or who had taken my things off of me, so I thought my key fob was lost forever ..
Called the only dealership in my city that works on Saabs and the guy told me it would be almost 2 grand to get a whole new key made and programmed to my car... I really freaked out then because I thought I was going to have to just count my entire car as a loss...
I was determined to find my keyfob because I knew it was at the hospital, so I went back every day for a week straight asking people and having them look everywhere I was at.
On the 6th day, somehow security caught wind of me coming there begging for help finding my key...
Apparently one of the night security guards found it and put it in a drawer in the security office!!! So I was saved!
So to get to the point, yea, now that I know how easy it is to replace, I'm going to do it immediately... Because if I lost this only keyfob I know how much money it would cost to get a brand new one.

I deadass left my keys on the dash in the summer and they fused to the dash 😂

Do you know how to fix the sunroof "finger sensor"? My sunroof won't close back down thinking that someone has is fingers stuck in it...
I don’t have a sunroof, but know that it’s a common issue. Have your tried pressing and holding the drivers windows lock button while closing the sunroof?
