I just picked up a 2003 9-3 for $200, it's a steal but I'm only starting to learn about saabs. Was curious if you knew anything less expensive, used solutions, or if i REALLY need something like this for most things done. Figured out I can't even get a new key without one of these (the current one looks like its been a dog chew toy since the car was new)

Mine does not lock and unlock the doors . I put a new battery but not working . contacts are clean .

22mm/24mm wrenches, 10mm deep socket with stubby extension, pick for connectors and flat blade for ECU connectors, T30 for covers... Spray seafoam deep creep and your injector sleeves should stay in

My problen is the roof isnt leaking, but waters getting into the passenger side floor? it has to be molding? I'm going to have to tape paper towels along the whole side of the car fml and its getting close to freezing out...

It didn’t solve my problem, my issue is just the opposite, you need to use every once of strength pressing per button to get them to work, I’ve taken it apart and with rubbing alcohol cleaned up the connections and still…

Oh god, that intro. Love the cars. Recently (last monday) bought the 9-3 1.8i (Literally only European model that doesn't have a turbo) Linear Business with only 85K miles on it. Changing the oil tomorrow thanks to your video.

Any other things you had done before you did this? Mine stutters slightly and has new ignition coil and spark plugs. I cleaned the MAF and throttle body. However still slight intermittent stutter.

I need to do this... I only have one key fob for my Saab and it is terrible condition... All of the rubber buttons have fallen out and I can't use the fob anynore to lock or unlock anything. Didn't realize replacing your fob was that simple

Pumped to see what you do cus I'm right there with ya. I got a '07 9-3 Linear that I'm upgrading. Suspension all around, undercoating, new exhaust, working on interior upgrades (removing or wrapping plastic parts), and just ordered aftermarket wheels.

I had a fob the little things inside were not where they belong and kept triggered the panic and wouldn't lock or unlock. I replaced the rubber now I thebremote don't work. Any idea if somehow the excessive issue caused the remote to stop working?
