Fantastic. Pretty good little booster pack. Be safe and stay well.
Thanks 👍🏼 You too
I have a JFEGWO 6000A, and I often use it. It works really well!👍
I guess I just got a bad unit. My little one is a champ. 👍🏼
Something here leaves me questioning whether the jump starter had another defect, since the display kept showing 100% notwithstanding how many times it was used for a jump, even though the unit and it's wires got hot. Zero energy used for jumps and heat? Sounds like perpetual motion--or another issue with the unit.
Yeah. There might have been. Their other units have been really solid though.
Nice work brotha!!!
Great review!👍
Thanks 👍🏼 I appreciate it
Thats a really cool tool brotha! Def handy to have around!
Seems to work ok once I got the new cables 👍🏼
Thank you
👍🏼👍🏼
That took some effort but I was surprised that little box started the bus
Me too
Should’ve pressed the boost button
For sure user error. No need to keep shutting off the main power main switch. Every time you shut that switch off, when you get new power, all the electronics are starting from square one again. That switch is for parking and storing the bus to keep any electrical drain from killing your batteries. If you're using the bus for a day, no need to keep shutting it off. Leave it on until you're done for the day. Other thing is, it's not a matter of you getting around there fast enough. In fact, leave it on and let it soak for a few minutes, THEN crank on it. Allow the device to charge and transfer some power into the battery before trying to crank on it. Also, consider you're on a bad battery that's been sitting. In a real life situation as you mentioned, like a trucker left his headlights on overnight and his batteries and in good working condition and recently charged, that thing would fire it right up.
I tried to just make it a worst case scenario. The bus is just a storage unit for me so it sits for long periods if time. I'm not a bus expert so I just do what I can. I'll be selling it soon but it's a good running truck 👍🏼
@@HFG I do roadside service, jumpstarts, tire changes, fuel delivery and unlocks. I start semi trucks with a JNC660 and a Kia, LOL, just a 4 cyl old service car. It's all about the technique so I don't fry the electronics in that little car. I'll give a hint of how it's done to protect the car from burning up every wire in it when you start cranking on the semi, the ignition key is OFF to the car. I do also have a biggo battery crammed in that little car. It has 1000 cold Cranking amp battery. I have a feeling that really is a good tool however, I do NOT like those smart adapters. I'm smart enough to make the decisions needed to be made so I don't need a self protect tool and it's awesome that they'll be willing to send that to those who want it. When it comes time for a new jump box I may look into this one since that is a big amperage for a little box.
@@NomadicHooker right on 👍🏼
Pretty sure it’s a c17, we have them around here too. It’s a big plane regardless
This is just a baby Cat. It's a C7
He didn’t press the boost button on the the jumper cables to give it the maximum power
There was a broken relay in that little box. Just one of those things. JF Egwo doesn't build the relays so it's not their fault. 👍🏼
Perhaps disconnect the bad battery from the two decent ones. Bad one has dead cell or shorted. Just a thought
That's what I did and it's been ok. I didn't think that a dead battery would drain the other two. I figured it would just be dead and wouldn't charge 🤷🏽♂️
@@HFG the bad battery will eventually take out the other two! So Then do you like that Jump Box? Was it expensive like a NOCO?
Sorry for the late reply. i like the jump pack. It seems to work as advertised. If you're looking for a jump pack, I think it'll work ok for you. I disconnected the bad battery.
Eu estou usando Google Tradutor :)
This model disappeared from Aliexpress, I was between the 6000a and the 6250a. I hope they come back with the announcement. The product says it can power up to 13L diesel, do you have any idea how many the bus is?
@mesaquemenezes1773 the bus is 7.2L. Caterpillar C7.
I have the same unit, If you read the owners manual/ directions your school bus would have started right away.
Maybe. Although, the smart connector was defective, so there's that.
@@HFG the smart adapter has a button, correct? Per instructions you need to press the Boost button when jumpstarting completely dead batteries to override smart feature. The adapter was not defective, you are hurting companies by testing products without doing the due diligence.
The relay inside the smart adapter was defective so no matter what I did it wouldn't have mattered. I talked with the company about it before I ever got the jump pack. They wanted me to use it on a completely dead battery and told me just to connect it and start it. If they relay inside hadn't broken it would have started. 👍🏼
The cable is too weak, you need NOCO GB70 or GB150 thick cable
Just working with what was supplied with the jump pack for the review. The cable in the bus is factory. 👍🏼
I watched you last bus video. Not sure anyone has told you yet, but you've made a bit of a mistake with your batteries and likely why you're having battery problems. So you bought 2 brand new expensive HD batteries, and you've hooked your 3rd old battery to your battery array. That's a NO NO always. Whenever you replace sets of batteries, you replace them all at the same time. Reason being, your 2 new batteries are now going to match the oldest weakest battery. That old battery should have never been connected up with the other 2. The batteries will operate the bus just fine. In fact, 1 good battery will do what you need it to do. Point is, disconnect and remove that old 3rd battery and charge your 2 new ones up with a good trickle charger to top them off, and hope they recover and you get a full life out of them.
You're right. I figured that maybe the old battery would come around a little. Once I realized that the old battery was totally ruined, I disconnected it and it's just been sitting in there with only the two new ones connected. The reason that I bought two batteries is because I was using the lift gate a lot and the extra battery gave me more use time before needing to start the bus. The new batteries are all good. It was quite an adventure getting that thing home.
that bus are only good for scrapyard but if you can find naive fools who will pay for it then OK
