With what little I know as well about waterfowl, the Kent with the cremater is well above average to really good. I haven’t seen many guns shoot a whole lot better.
@@Windwalker_Outdoors I shoot the Stoeger M3500, and have the Carlson mid range and long rang cremator chokes and the mid range did better for me. I also used the Kent fast steel and that was great. Another good shell to try is remington high speed steel. These two are great shells that pattern well and are cheap. If you could use a dove load in those chokes that would be good to because I would like to see how they pattern. Also great video !
I'm watching this at the end of Sept. so you probably won't see this but, I'll send anyway. Most of your patterns were centering about 6 inches left. It would seem that your "Cast" needs to be adjusted, they make shims for that problem. It's not really your aim, but how your eye aligns with the rib.
Yes, I did notice this. I believe the problem may be the way I was lining up the mid bead with the front bead. Hard to explain, but thank you for pointing that out. For some reason, when light hits the silver mid bead, from one side or the other, it makes the bead look off center and I try to compensate. At another pattern session, with different light, patterns were centered. Very hard to explain .
@@Windwalker_Outdoors I understand then , I've removed those midway beads because they tend to cover the front. If I can't see it, I don't know where I'm at!! Shoot the goose!!!
Light a match and hold it to your center bead. It will just take the glare off. You can do it to front sights on rifles too. Trick my grandpa taught me from when he was in the Philippines during ww2.
You should do a video with dove hunting loads? With a modified and improved choke be a good video before dove season. And your buddy too with the Stoeger m3000
There are two improved chokes, the IC and the IM.in 12 ga, they often measure: Improved cylinder at 10 thou constriction and improved modified 25 thou.

Are you using the ported cremator or non-ported. Have a sbe2 thinking of picking up the carlsons just didn’t know how much of a difference between the ported and non ported.
I started to use the carlsons mid range cremator choke at the beginning of this season and to be honest I’ve never dropped so many ducks in my life with single shots
It still baffles me that so many use shotshells from Heavy-X and Heavy Metal. A simple cutting up of one of their shells says it all - Many of their products resemble welding slag... and they pattern like it. I guess if you throw enough slag at a bird, some of it will hit it.
I use Hevi Metal #4 shot with an Invector I/C factory choke 60 geese and 70 mallards ONE cripple. Yes I always hunt with a dog 🐕 and I never shoot pass 40 yards.
I sure hate to be mr. obvious but your gun tends to throw a lot of loads a little to the left. If you are gonna review all these shells and a choke tube, why not shoot a big piece of butch block paper?
Bigger shot patterns better with mid range chokes. If you go with a long range choke downsize and go with #3 or 4s.

I think I'm going to stock up with a few boxes. My buddy has the Stoeger M3000. He had the same results with Kent.
That goose damn near cooked you when it fell lol
That kent ammo stood out to me, along with that blue box I think it was, id stick with them personally.
The odd thing was, my buddy was there with his Stoeger M3000, and those 2 also had the best patterns.

Your choke doesn’t seem to like the larger shot fire some number 4’s In The hevi stuff and you might like it.
Kent all day. Franchi intensity with a Carlson full long range

Agree I have the SBE 3 and trying to figure out if I should use T1 or T2 choke?

I just got a Super Black Eagle 3 and was looking at a Carlsons cremator choke tube. I shot Kent fast steal last year and I’m gonna keep shooting it.
I have the Cremator Mid Range. It pretty much stays in the gun for everything. About the only time it comes out is for skeet or Turkey.
I was looking at the long range and mid range choke set. I would only take them out for turkey and trap shooting

Mine is non ported. I have a buddy that uses the ported. The ported is louder.

I’m thing about getting the long range cremator how far out were u getting them with that choke
I had the same experience but with Canada geese and Hevi-X 2's ... one shot one goose three shots three geese ...true story
That goose almost killed you
What kind of choke does your buddy use with the stoeger m3000
We both use the Carlsons Cremator Mid Range
Thank you for the quick response love the vids keep up the good work
Very good video very well done.
I wish my geese would just land right next to me
Were those ported or not?
nonported
What distance was the target set up at?
40 yards

Bro when you dropped that goose did it almost land on you? I have a co worker whose husband shot a goose it landed on him and paralyzed him?
Almost! That would have hurt. Sorry to hear that about your coworker's husband. That is a terrible thing to happen.
I think that brand is pronounced Fee-okie
Drew V hey drew lol
I’m not pleased with any of them patterns!
