Mabel had a young Mike Tramp aka Michael Trampenau on lead vocals. Later known for White Lion and Freak Of Nature. Malene or Malene Mortensen from 2002 are actually a jazz singer. She has released 10 albums with some big shots on the jazz scene. The Doky Brothers, Alex Riel, Niels Henning Ørsted Pedersen, Mike Stern and Avishai Cohen. Kenny Lübcke with the long hair are a heavy metal singer that took part in the Eurovision. Kølig Kaj was a rapper. The winners from 1963 Grethe & Jørgen Ingmann came from the jazz scene. Jørgen Ingmann was a great guitarist. Check out his song Amorada.
Tommy Seebach is a god in Denmark. More or less every person in Denmark knows atleast half of the songs... Most Eurovisions songs that made it to the contest is almost a song that most danes knows
Btw.. I would advice reacting to Ukraine (best performing country together with Sweden and Italy in last 20 years) and Moldova (many fun entries). Both countries have really embraced eurovision since taking part in early 00's when more countries joined Eurovision. Otherwise I would advise reacting to an entire year like 2021, 2022, 2023. To see if you agree with the results.
@@bigkevreactsIn 1967 the Danish broadcaster got a new executive in charge, who really didn't like Eurovision and was responsible for the withdrawl. He retired in 1977 and after that Denmark returned to Eurovision.
Eurovision has always had a bad reputation in Denmark, which is also why you do not see any popular and serious artists participating, because it would be the end of them.
Higher ground from 2018 was highly popular among the people voting, but not among the woke jury who apparently did not like the Danish bearded males and Viking vibes, it still finished 9th, but only because of so many people voting for it.

Fun Fact, we're one of the few countries, that has never gotten a 0 in total on the final scoreboard 🙂

@24:24 yeah Reiley is a TikTok star with 10 million followers, but his song and vocals didnt deliver.
Yeah sometime a live performance just doesn't come together.
This is the first time i notice Denmark did not participate between 1966 and 1978. Who knows why...
I didn't even catch that. I wonder why they didn't compete.

Thanks for the explanation 👍

what does wokism have to do with how the jury voted?
@@mathiassgaard4583 .. everything, because everything about the song is what they are trying to fight.
@@agffans5725 who are "they"?
So when the jury votes in opposition to how you perceive a song, it is because of wokism.
OMG 🤣
You skipped the winner Only teardrops from 2013, that is criminal, you also skipped one of my favorites from 2019 so no hands up from me
Didn't skip it. RUclips blocked that song so I had to trim it out.
@@bigkevreacts .. fair enough, though it's not (YT)
Do Poland :)
I have a few other ones already lined up from previous requests but I'll be sure to add Poland 😀
