Abdel Halim is considered the symbol of romanticism in the whole Arab world ever. You may say he is the second Pyramid after Om Kolsoum in Egypt. He is nicknamed al andaleeb al asmar meaning the brown nightingale. His songs are alive till this day although he passed away 48 years ago and it brings you back to the good old days . You can try his classics of the 70s which this one(Ahwak is a rendering made in the 70s to the original Ahwak sung in a movie called "Banat Al youm meaning Today's Girls) in 1957.
His songs are different taste than any other Egyptian songs emotionally and in terms of musical technique at that era(70s) which giving an instrumental introductory including playing solos with the same note but different instruments in each repetition to prepare the audience for the upcoming emotional modes the song will take and this was apparent on the audience request to repeat. He was also paying too much care to the poetry of the lyrics as he was interfering with the poet's poem version. you can check out the link below on Wikipedia for further information about Abdel Halim. Greetings from Egypt.

His feelings & expressions when singing is my favorite thing about him
He was kind of known as a lover boy image
Very delacite & romantic all the ladys loved him
Different from umm kulthum singing where it much powerful with control & emotions
Ugh I just love these songs so much very nostalgic take me back to simple warm days in my grandparents house
    Everything is masterful

    1:16
"Egyptian Arabic" refers to the "Egyptian dialect," as each Arab country has its own distinct dialect. However, recently, some individuals who oppose the Arabic language and Arab identity have emerged on social media (and I believe they were initially created by online bots to spread division among Arabs). They claim that what they speak is not Arabic, but rather "Egyptian, Lebanese, Moroccan languages," etc., which stems from ignorance and lack of proper education.
Every language has "loanwords" from other languages due to colonization or global influence. Just like Hindi, which incorporates loanwords from Arabic, Persian, and English. While there is a "pure Hindi language" that no one speaks today, that doesn’t diminish the fact that what people speak now is still "Hindi." The same principle applies to Arabic. Every country has its own dialect, which is primarily Arabic, but with a few words borrowed from the original language of the country and from colonial languages such as French, English, Spanish, Italian, and Turkish. Each country’s dialect reflects its unique history and story.

Well I believe it's really audacious of you to dive into arabic music. Halim as he was usually called was a huge singer. He used to play in movies too. Unfortunately, he left us too soon (if I remember well, it was in 1977). Listen to Fairuz "Ya Sahar el Layali".

Egyptian Arabic is different enough from Standard Arabic to be considered an entirely different language, although for religious/Arab unity reasons people will often reject this notion. But it's definitely not mutually intelligible, as it's been influenced by the historical native Egyptian language (Coptic, the last stage of the ancient language that was once written in hieroglyphs), as well as Turkish, French, English, and others.

He has many similarly great songs , but much longer and with the same orchestral performance, songs that might extend to 50 minutes of continuous performance and with a similar deep and sentimental lyrics.
