I like that you guys have structure to your reviews but some vehicles don't fit in the same category. This vehicle has a utility foundation and your review should include that. Can you fit a mountain bike in it? How about two bikes? Is a hitch optional? Roof rack? Do seats lay flat? This vehicle could be compared to the Honda Element.

I've found that 0-60 for the 1.5 litre is 8.6 seconds. That's far from apocalyptically slow. Under 10s is about average for a European sedan and we drive faster over here. Don't get the obsession with acceleration when you top out at around 70mph. Bronco Sport is hardly a car you buy for acceleration. My off-roader's 0-60 = yes (over 20s) and that's apocalyptically slow.

My wife ordered on in early Feb, should be built by the end of this month. The delays have been crazy. Moonroof parts, then transistors.
Matt Farrah took this on an extended off-road jaunt and it was surprisingly capable over some rough terrain. It’s not a Wrangler but it’s not a Mazda CX-5 either.
You guys really didn’t test this the way it will be used at times. 180 HP is fine. How fast is a Wrangler or FJ to 60? Go test the Badlands 0-60. It’s very fast.
This review was one of your worst. You called it in. Take it off-road! Geesh.

Sorry about your wifes delay. I do think the badlands with the 2.0 and tvd will fix most of my issues with this car. My issue with the 1.5 is for the mass of the non bandlands and intended purpose(95 percent road duty and light trails), it lacks the torque for simple merging and it fails to return competitive real world economy numbers. I returned mid low 20s.

      1. The number of cylinders does not indicate whether a vehicle is sporty or not. A small, lightweight vehicle with a 3-cylinder can certainly be more sporty/fun to drive than a 500 hp SUV...
      2. "Sport" doesn't mean anything in the automotive world. There are many vehicles with that moniker...
