Looked at a CX-5 Carbon Edition. Far more equipment. Better engine. MSRP of $32k. We're getting the Mazda this week. I was excited about the Bronc Sport Heritage, but the value proposition is absolutely putrid.

I saw a review of this recently from Canada and just about spit my coffee out at the price. The Heritage Limited trim in Canada is just under $57k. Add freight and fees and its $58,844. Add Ontario tax (HST) and you're at just under $66,500. For a fluffed up Escape. Ford is pretending that it's still pre-pandemic where they run Friends & Family pricing with $15k cash on the hood and 0% interest for 84 months. No one in their right mind would buy this vehicle. $40k, sure, if you really want one, but with no discounts and 5.49% financing (current offer) this thing will cost you a total of $80,976. That's shameful.
