It's actually not the 718-generation. The current 718 is the 982-generation. Porsche added 718 to the model name, so 718 is like 911 in different generations: 992/991/997/996/etc.. So the next generation Boxster and Cayman will also be called 718, but with a different generation-nummer (983 perhaps?)

Yes, you can get knock-offs cheap, especially for basic colors. But if you want the perfect match, stick with the factory version.
Order from Suncoast and my delivery was lost in transit. They refused to shipped out another part and made me purchase the part again until they can find the part. Horrible customer service.
We do apologize for the unexpected delay. When a package is lost by UPS, there is an investigation process. It's not quick, but they will solve the problem. We have had situations where they find the package and deliver it the next business day, or it can take a week for them to conclude it's lost. Either way, we do have to give them time to investigate. I guess Heather gave you an option if you're in a bind while we await an initial response from UPS. We're very happy to help, but we do have to work with UPS in these situations. If you're in a bind, please contact her at 877-923-1700. But we will resolve the situation as soon as possible.

What do you expect them to do? The packages are insured with the carrier for a reason. Expecting them to eat the loss on hundreds or thousands of dollars is the epitome of entitlement.
@@kabob21 So if the package are insured with the carrier how are they losing thousands of dollars? Maybe if you read what you typed maybe your intelligence might kick in... As with other vendors they will send out a replacement if the order has been lost and work with the carrier on the missing package and not charge the customer again for the order.... Entitlement would be me complaining that i would have to DD my Ferrari while i wait for the parts... and "DD" means Daily Driver just in case you feeling kinda dumb dumb.
