A loud clunking noise when shifting from 2 to 1 for PDK is usually a sign that the transmission oil and oil pan need to be replaced. And it is quite normal to have a slight noise when downshifting from 2 to 1.
Bore scoring is a default Porsche problem and it's the most costly problem you can face with these cars for sure. Endoscopy must be performed before buying.
That was fixed in the 987.2. Same with IMS issue. Bore scoring can of course still occur with a lack of maintenance, improper maintenance, vehicle abuse, but it is no longer a common issue or something to be concerned about. No more than any other car. As long as the vehicle was maintained and taken care of, it'll be fine.
@@Miguelsgarage yes! I few months back, i replace fan with shroud ($35) and radiator cost me $95 new, i did the work it was very simple. Guaranteed? For changing a few bolts? Lol

coolant repair arent expensive lol maybe if you find oil in the water but a radiator isnt that expensive!
Did you have this done at some point? How much did it cost and who did the work? was the work guaranteed?
