- In this video I show you how to deploy Twinmotion's path tracer to create realistic results.
We use an example from Instagram as our inspiration and work toward achieving similar results, first by modelling the scene in SketchUp.
We finish with a portrait shot, running through render settings, lighting and materials to help you with your next render project!
Hope you enjoy.

I'm watching this in 2024! Great Tutorial mate, thanks a lot.
Love this. So informative and helpful for a beginner like myself. Added bonus of learning from a fellow scouser!
Haha nice one 🙏🏼
Tons of great info in this video, thank you for sharing!
Ah no problem at all, thanks for watching 🙏🏼
I downloaded the scene and got to practicing with it! Solid job on the explanation, thank you so much!
Ah this is lovely to read 😍 Plenty more where this one came from!
@@ArchAdemia Looking forward to it, as always!
Amazing !!!! Really great tutorial!! Thanks a lot for time and effort you’ve put in this 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Ah thanks so much for the kind words. Hopefully you’ve checked out our other videos too, plenty more to come also.
If you want softer shadows increase the size of the sun.
Thanks for the input & thanks for watching 🙌🏼
I'm Alway was find it a people in youtube who teach make render realistic, I find you and you form teach is awesome, appreciate much for your effort!
Greetings from Mexico, sorry about my english hahaha, but I'm improve my english and my renders, have new suscriber!
Hi Hector, thanks for watching and for your kind words. It means a lot to me and gives me my motivation to keep making content! Thanks for subscribing, there’s plenty more to come 🙏🏼
@@ArchAdemia thanks so much, my best wishes for you, God bless you 🙏🏾
That video was super helpful! Thanks a ton! So, for the next episode, could you make a tutorial similar to this one but without path tracer? I'd love to see a realistic render without using a path tracer. I'm having a tough time with animation when path tracing isn't involved.
Hi there, thanks for watching and for the lovely comment! This is an excellent request, as it's quite tricky to achieve good results without the path tracer, so let me look into this further and I'll schedule a video!
Excellent tutorial! A tutorial that I would like to follow but nowhere I have not seen until today, is how to prepare a sketchup or 3d studio max file so that the materials are correctly placed
HI there, thanks for watching the video & taking the time to provide a nice comment.
Wooow nice work
Oh my, thanks so much!
Really great video thank you!
Do you have any advice for larger scale models with the need for a lot of artificial lighting and less natural lighting available, I have struggled to achieve high quality renders because I’m not great and using the lighting tools in twin motion, my renders can look muddy and cartoony even with high quality render output settings because of this,
Let me help you properly here ... Can you send me your twinmotion file and I'll review it for you and give you the exact advice you need? Send to adam@archademia.com
Hi, amazing video & channel - subscribed. Picking up a lot of tips as an Architecture student thank you!
Will be attempting this in Twinmotion...Quick Q - Can you live sync sketchup scenes to twinmotion?
Thanks for watching & for taking the time to comment, plenty more to come. On your question, to live sync a scene within Twinmotion make sure to import using the 'direct link' option. Also, to learn more about ArchAdemia please head to our website: archademia.com
Удивительно, что автор выбрал в качестве образца для подражания интерьер российских дизайнеров из инстаграм. Ну, а что, они и впрямь молодцы!
Согласен
Вообще не ожидал увидеть отечественные интерьеры :D

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for watching :)
@ArchAdemia
Could you show the instructions on how to make this short video, what do you have at the beginning? I have noise and flickering all the time. In your file I see you have "denoiser" checked. Did you do anything with the movie to make it look like this?
I have RTX 3090.
Hi, thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment. It's basically just a case of cranking the settings up, but render times can really drag out!
I loved this video. Could you make one for D5 Render too? I want to learn how to use it. Thanks a lot.
Yeah I’ll schedule one for d5 no problem 😉
@@ArchAdemia Thanks a lot ❤️❤️❤️
Jaw dropping results! Can you do a similar video showcasing how to achieve photorealism with D5 please? Would love an interior render course for D5.
Jaw dropping! I'm honoured and flattered! Consider your request officially in the pipeline for future content, I love making these videos, so not a problem at all!
Thank you for an interesting video. One question. Your reference image was made using twinmotion or is real?
Thanks for the comment Carlos, the reference image was a render, done in something like Chaos Corona I think.
@@ArchAdemia thank you for your quick response.
Which GPU and CPU is necessary for 60FPS archiviz realtime rendering? Path tracing is faster like Lumen? Thanks!
Checkout our video on this exact topic: ruclips.net/video/f0z1IKuj_IU/видео.html
Do you do exterior? If you do, can you do a video on how to achieve realism with an exterior view?
Hi there, I’ve been waiting to reply to this comment until it was ready, check this out - archademia.com/lessons/online-twinmotion-course-for-beginners/ exactly what you need 🚀
disculpa, una pregunta: se puede hacer animaciones de objetos en twinmotion?
Si, pero es en programas externos, yo importo las lámparas de techo en Unreal, eh visto que trabajan también en Blender.
Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment.
Hi thanks for the video, could you please put a link to the sketchup file? I am having problems probs opening the TM file. As I don't have 2023 as my gafics is not up to it
Hi there, thanks for watching. I've now added the SKP file to the above link in the pinned comment 🤩
Thank you
Will I see differences between your graphic card to nvidia 4070? I mean differences of how real the rendering will be
Hardware only ever affects speed, not quality. A 4070 is a very good card though, so nothing to worry about there!!
Do also the same thing but with D5 render
We have 👀 check our other videos out
Hi
please tell me one thing, when i sync sketchup file to twinmotion then some materials is auto exchange in twinmotion. I'm facing this problem many times. If you have any solution for this please tell me........
This is the most FRUSTRATING thing about Twinmotion, I get the same issue myself and not yet found a solution for it. If you do, please let me know and we'll pin your comment for others to see!
Can't blender export to FBX?
It can, yeah :)
what was rendertime per frame?
Oh, I forget now, but this is a good point in that the render times for the path tracer at a higher resolution/sample count is NOT quick at all, I recall rendering overnight for all 3 of the intro clips.
How is possible that when i import a model from SKP, when i apply a texture, I always have to scale it x 100
And why is sooooo different the ilumination between standard mode and path tracer mode? Thats a pain
Must be a clash with your units. Check if you're using mm that it's set to mm in both modelling and rendering programmes.
Yep it's horrible, but now the realtime rendering gives you Lumen as an option which has a much nicer lighting setup, closely matching Path Tracer.
When I go to use the path tracer option it didn’t let me it says that :your system does not meet the recommended requirements to use the path tracer” what does that means ??
What can I do instead of changing my graphic card?
I don't think you have much option, I'm afraid :( - the 3080/3090 from last year has come down in price with the new 40 line so might be worth considering.
I think I have wasted my 35 mins watching your video even though I knew at the middle of the video but still waited for your result...to be frank it's just a mediocre result for the time you have taken this small scene to render....bro you told that you would be replicating the view..but you didn't even match the focal length... I think you learn twinmotion better and then upload...so called tutorial videos.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. The results are previewed at the start of the video, so nobody should be wasting their time and we touch on focal length at 22:24 😇
@@ArchAdemia you have ..but it's not the same
@@aadithprakashupload a video of your attempt then 🙃
I have a MacBook Pro
Could you try Parallels to bypass any mac issues?
