Ive been using twinmotion for years, i didnt know you can grab as many vegetations on paint lol. Ive been doing it manually all this time, rocks, trees, etc. Thank you so much.
OMG, I know the grass trick to make it random and realistic, but I did not know that you could do this with trees, I am speechless. Thank you for this great video.
just bought and installed TwinMotion literally hours ago. Have been playing around with it, and familiarizing myself with the software. this is awesome! Im so glad I clicked on this video and learned more tips! Please make more tutorial videos!
Great video! I figured all these out after a couple years of working with Twinmotion. This a great intro vid to get beginners started! A couple of my big pointers are also to set your location and North orientation to your site to get accurate sunlight, and to be careful with the material scaling and orientation.
This is sick man I’ve been using twinmotion for the past 2 years and never figured out the materials This is gunna make my renders so much better for studio projects THANK YOU
IMPORTANT! The Normal Map DOES NOT work right if you just drop it in Twinmotion! It's fascinating how even the developers of Twimotion and the people at Quixel fail to make clear that you absolutely have to invert the green channel of the normal map. The Unreal Engine uses DirectX and the normal maps from Quixel are for OpenGL programs. Usually you have a plugin for your rendering software and this plugin automatically inverts the channel of the normal map if needed. However Twinmotion has no plugin for Quixel so you have to invert the green channel manually.
@@Moochers I am using TM since 2019 heavily and after loading a surface called "Studded leather" I noticed that the shadows that the normal map creates are inverted and the whole material looks like its turned inside out. That was when I started to do some research and figured this out. ou can try this too. If you search for "Studded Leather" in Megascans you'll find only one.
Loved the vid Mooch! Btw, one thing I notice from this vid is every time you say "Another mistake..." you immediately show the "answer" to the mistake which makes it kinda confusing at first because I thought "Efficiently Placing Trees" is THE mistake when it's actually the SOLUTION to the mistake. Other than that, the video brings so much value. Cheers!
Hi Mooch, what's the spec requirements for running Twinmotion on a windows system? And how about the features available on the free version against the licensed one.. could you kindly throw some light on these aspects?
fuckin' love your channel mate. keep up the high quality. I wish you millions of YT money in the future and Ill keep supporting you till you get there. thank you for the information and for inspiring me!!!!!
After export 3ds max file in that it roof showing open plz help me i want your support plz why roof showing open all other objects are great but roof open in twinmotion
Is it possible to save all of those quixel imports u demoed or will I have to recreate it every time? (obvi I’m a totes noob at this and I very much appreciate ur content and help so thx!)
The terrain changes as you approach and move away from the scene. When viewed from a distance and up close, the terrain is completely different. How to fix it? Thanks
Hello I’m 15 and I’m studying architecture and I’m really passionate about designing buildings cars and products but I need help on what to study like how do I better myself and help myself become a architect. I was just wondering if you could help me and also if I should by a Lenovo active pen so I can practice on my computer or would pen and paper be best?
Learn how to sketch on paper and pencil. Sketch until you're comfortable expressing ideas. Learn how to take notes effectively. Learn how long it takes you to get things done. Don't buy anything if you don't need it. Most importantly, learn how to solve problems without asking for a person for help; refine that Google-fu. Good luck. Architecture is fun, I swear
Well I didn't saw this coming f I just saw the house I did in 3ds max is 3.12gb and exported file of it is 0.97 gb and it keeps crashing in the end of export process
what I always suffer from is twinmotions crashes. Not evenwhile rendering but when synchronizing with rhino 7. Also the autosaving files are sometimes corrupted and IF the program crashes while saving the old file is corrupted or damaged as well and Im missing fragments of the model or objects/ materials that I added in the last steps. When synchronizing again it says cant recognize the model so if I then force sync I can basically start all over again... this happens too often Im wasting tons of time on it. Anyone experiencing the same?
Great video for a TM-beginner as me. It looks like you got your model in a twinmotion landscape to start with. How did you do to paint grass and trees on that? Cannot get it working, and it seems so much more intuitive to work with landscape in Twinmotion than having to create a landscape in Revit (which is my software) and importing it.
cool video! Twinmotion is really a nice program. The materials from twinmotion are really problematic... especially the fabrics: they get no shadows... haha
Hi, good vibe but please take your time when talking, I really like to follow you to get the out of the videos . What do you says the website for the materials is? I mean where to get shaders ( materials) ?

Right?! Total game changer. It's amazing that you can change it by adding or removing elements to the selection.
