I discovered that coarse 80 grit or lower was very effective on sharpening my sister's old dull tweezer and plucks great! Just put some effort with scrubbing the tweezer on the front and side against the sandpaper and problem solved!
Just recently a light bulb idea popped up in my head and thought hmm, how about trying my razor blade?? I grabbed my Gillette Custom Plus 3 disposable blade and started shaving the callus on the center of my right bottom feet. I shaved it in all different directions and was so surprised and happy to see that the thick skin came off completely, all gone! Yahoo! I've tried sandpaper, liquid callus removers, nail filers, you name it and none of these helped much. Who knew a simple great disposable razor can get the job done in less than a minute!!! YAY! :)
Do I sharpen the tweezers for the same amount of time that you demonstrated? I'm unsure if you were giving us a quick demonstration or if you were actually sharpening them.

Do I have to use all three different kinds of sandpaper?
where do u find this kind of sandpaper with the 3 different grades? I went to Home Depot, Lowes... and couldn't find them.
I was showing quickly how to do it. It shouldn't take too long though. Just do it until it's sharp enough for you.
My tweezers were the same after doing this. I saw another "how to" that suggests more coarse grades, which seems better. It says 150 and 300.
Thanks for the help! What is the name of the sandpaper you use, staycora? sandcrlla?
Christopher Spelman Yes but there's so many different grits and types so how would someone know exactly which works best, Hello? HAHA
